Default Can I Improve By Guessing Cards?

Can I improve my psychic abilities by practicing guessing cards? Like, if I just shuffle and predict the next card as I flip through the deck? So far it seems like this might be a thing. Is it?

Hehe, so very direct it made me giggle.

If you carefully tracked the number of times you were correct and used that information to help you recognize the mindset that let you be open to feeling the correct answer, maybe.

That is more confirmation than development though, IMO.

yes, that was a hilarious reply.

Well, from tracking results what I found interesting is the number of times my prediction is actually the 2nd card. Like I'm early by 1 card. And I often guess Ace and it's an 8, or the other way around. Aside from that I'll hold off on giving readings for a while!

Maybe order a pack of ESP testing cards? They have individual symbols, star, cross, circle and such. Make it a bit less complex so u can differentiate easier? Or make your own cards

The conventional wisdom in remote viewing circles says that after an initial burst of high accuracy (or accuracy such as you describe-guessing the second card) you will see a decrease in accuracy as you subconsciously become bored with it. The mind is drawn to new and interesting things. I personally think you can push through this and become somewhat robotic and increase your accuracy again .

However, if you are looking to increase your detail and perception I don't think this would be a very good way to do it.

Another thing I noticed is that as I go through a deck of cards the odds change and subconsciously I know which cards have already been dealt. To make it really random I would need the cards to be continuously auto-shuffled I guess.

This is has been my experience as well. You will go through a phase of "beginners luck" where you can be very good, and then a sharp drop in results will occur. If you persist, though, the skill level will eventually go back up. It's kind've weird like that.
