Some believe we just reincarnate into another physical body. And some believe we go to heaven or hell. Why not a choice ? We're part of the universe, so why would something else be controllling us ? I've always believed we can go to a dream-like world where we can do anything and we're surrounded by bliss and just sheer excitement. Why can't we have a choice ? I believe we do have a choice Any others with me? Or other opinions ? |

Silenced - Here's my experience and information from the Akashic Records, but I encourage you to make your own discoveries. There isn't someone/something outside of us that controls us, decides for us, has power over us. After we die, if we have a lot internal conflict, then we find ourselves in surroundings where we can play that out till we feel satisfied enough to move on. The various hells are more our creation than some outside creation - no one makes us go and stay there. And they can be very seductive. If we are more conscious when we die, we can find ourselves creating our surroundings that match our beliefs/vision of the afterlife (i.e. certain vision of heaven, surrounded by loved ones, etc), just as you have described for yourself. Then as we become more comfortable/confident/trusting, we begin to explore other shared realities. The movie What Dreams May Come, was based on the book of the same name, some of which was based on the mystic Emanuel Swedenborg's experiences in ethers, including visiting heaven and hell. He wrote a book called Heaven and Hell that was his unique 18th century European mystic perspective on it. The movie had an interesting take on the whole topic, including how we create/attract our reality after we die, and reincarnation. Before even coming into our first lifetime, we ourselves decide the total number of lifetimes that we want to have on the planet. If we happen to become enlightened in one particular lifetime, and there are more lifetimes that we have scheduled to experience (i.e 3 more), then we have the choice to reincarnate or not. Otherwise, we pretty much keep incarnating, to continue the program that we ourselves set up. We keep incarnating till we are at least enlightened or expressing states of consciousness beyond that. It really only takes 1 lifetime to get the full human expression - we don't need hundreds of lifetimes. And yet many of us will have on average 350 - 550 lifetimes. We love to keep coming back for the various adventures we can embark on, the amazing variety and depth of expression. |

I can see where your coming from. But I don't want to live 350 lives in this same disgusting world. Full of countries, separation, and all the violence and blindly ignorant people. This is beginning to seem more like the physical world is more of a test than anything. But idk so i can't say. I would rather go cast spells with Harry Potter than drive cars. Things are so boring in this world.

Silenced - I can understand what you're saying, but not every timeframe, culture or lifetime has to be full of what you're describing. And our consciousness really makes the difference in our experience - it trumps everything. The last 13,000 yrs have been an experience in collective seperation, but the planetary culture before that was one of unification - and we're moving back into that collective experience right now. And if you want more than just the "ordinary" things offered in life, there are people all over the world who can help. Some people have a deeper understanding of life and hide it behind the word "magic", and others are more visible (i.e. Sai Baba). I've traveled quite a bit, but I have one friend who has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars traveling all over the world to find mystics to learn from because it was that important to him. I hope you find what you're looking for and embody what you want. Last edited by ChrisL; 11-17-2010 at 04:50 PM. |

I am hoping that our "reincarnation" opportunities include the choices of living in some interesting alternate realities/worlds where the "physical laws" are different, and/or the people and the cultures. Not just a returning over and over to this human world as we now know it. Variety is the spice of eternal life.

Silenced - You're welcome. We've been moving into this for awhile now, with 2012 kind like a marker for it. Individually we can shift into unification before the rest of the herd does - we don't have to wait for anyone else. Chameleon - Coming here is like enrolling in a university -we're usually here till we are through with what we wanted to experience. And we do have lives in various other systems/timeframes, that have other laws. When we incarnate here, we make certain collective agreeements (i.e. gravity), but once we are in our body, there are ways to individually step outside those laws (i.e. walk through walls, levitate, manifest, etc). There have been people throughout history doing this, and sometimes collective groups, but mostly not out in the open for good reason. The guy who created Coral Castle in Florida was known to move very heavy stones without equipment. When asked, he said he knew how the pyramids were built. The world as we know it keeps shifting as our consciousness shifts. Just like a university, there are people that have all kinds of wisdom/experience, some just beginning their journey and others wanting to graduate and move on! I don't know. I recently started reading Busting Loose From The Money Game and it is sort of along the same lines. Maybe you would enjoy it, and enjoy changing your hologram.

hey all, i created this account here only for the question i had on this particular subject really so i apologize in advance if the question comes off as demanding or rushed without doing some more research into it here. I inderstand that Ms Pavlina has some kind of gift and can communicate with the other side and sometimes the answers come to her in a dream like that the AFter-Death article demonstarted. My question is similar to what silenced has asked except for my choice is not what seems to be an option according to the After Death article. I was wondering if there is a way to completely stop my existance for good. Merging back with the ether or the All or the Source or w/e else you wanna call it is out of the question for me. I want no part of it. You may say that the energy cant be destroyed or something similar to it, but what about black holes? I have heard of people who were experiencing an NDE telling of seeing something that looked like a black hole that would consumed them at the moment of death that they wouldnt even wish their worst enemies to go through because it was apparently that terrifying. I would actually LOVE to go through that. I realize that this sounds very negative and you may expirience pity or what not towards me but I have pretty much made up my mind and Im extremly stubborn so my desicion is pretty much final. If any1 here has any insight about what i have descirbed plz let me know as soon as you can because time is of the essense. |
