How Do I know if I am interpreting the signs correctly?

I ask the universe for signs. How do I know if I am interpreting them properly? For example, I separated from my husband a year ago. I remember asking for a sign indicating whether we could reconcile and save our relationship. I saw him driving an hour later and believed that meant we could, but I realize now that I needed to look at the setting in which I saw him. We saw each other as we crossed train tracks and were coming from opposite ends...in other words we waved goodbye to one another at an interesection...signifying we were taking two different paths now. Today, a year later, I have asked for signs involving our future (the kids and I) and whether this man I met is the one. WE haven't dated, not even close, but I feel a strong attraction to him. He is a challenge and doesn't fit my pattern in any way. He doesn't look twice at me, but then sometimes he does and he has his own issues as to why he hasnt been involved in a long time. I write him off because nothing happens and I think I am making something out of nothing, but just when I do something happens where we are connected again. I don't understand. I consulted a few psychics and they said he is not the one, but my intuition is so strong and I can't shake him. I have tried to connect to my spirit guides, but I have never been successful at it. All I know is that my intution is getting much stronger. Is it possible that he is the one and the spirit guides don't want me to know because it would hinder my journey or if he isn't why do we keep connecting? If he was to create a list of everything that he wants and needs in a woman..it is I and vice versa.

I am new to all of this, but I too just separated from my husband, and although it was in large part my doing...needed to get the children and I safe from harm; I understand the feelings. Now I do not know the state of you marriage, or the current way things are going for you. I feel that you are afraid to be alone, and are trying to force fate into this with someone you feel is "right" for you when he may just be right now. I am trying to say all of this with compassion so please understand that. I think that you need to get strong in yourself first. The kids need you to be healthy and happy before you go into another relationship. This man also needs to be healthy and happy on his own before he is going to make a good husband/father. So maybe he is the one but the timing is not right, or maybe he is just meant to be there as a friend. Don't try to force things if you do...and you can, things do not usually turn out well from that. I wish you all the luck, and feel free to pm me if you would like.

Well they are your signs. If you feel you have made a mistake I believe you would get little red flags from the universe or your higher self. Ask yourself if you are happy.

About the new guy: Maybe he isnt the right one, that doesnt mean he doesn't serve a significant purpose in your life. Maybe he brings a large life lesson you are to learn, or something else of great importance.

or maybe what u were getting was subconscious noise not ur spirit guides. Just maybe.

And remember, above all else, you have free will to choose what YOU want to do, and ur spirit guides will respect it.

Hi everyone,

I just want to thank you for your answers. They are helpful. I think, overall, my inner voice agrees. I am to rest and have patience and trust the Divine timing. You are right, Iris, I need to be stronger in myself and since I last submitted this post I have been the most volatile human being imagineable. I would never be with anyone now, nor should he be. It is not the right timing. I am curious and so analytical so my left brain likes to dominate but my right brain knows better-detach Summer. you're all awesome. Thanks again!
