Can you feel the Magnet between your hands?

I wonder can anybody feel the Magnet between their palms which I feel? This Magnet can be spread if you put your hands farther from each other, and if you put them closer you can also 'touch' it. It is like an elastic band. The feeling is the same as if you were trying to make close to each other two magnets, both with their '-'poles, or with their '+' poles. If you don't make them touch each other you can feel this energy field between them, and the same (but not so strong) can be felt between the hands.
Can we somehow use this Magnet? Can we develop this feeling? What is the meaning of it?

I "think" this is pretty common. I was shown how I could "create an energy ball" by my martial arts sifu, and so was the rest of my class. Further I've had people do qi gong with me before, then after rub their hands together and place their hands near each other and they got the same feeling. So whatever it is it shows up for a lot of people, and may be linked to energy practice. Exactly how it works is something I've wanted to figure out for a while now.

There is a qigong exercise that involves moving the palms together and apart (like playing an accordion) and really feeling the buildup of this magnetic sensation. This particular exercise is especially good for the respiratory system, as it opens up the meridians associated with the lungs and encourages the flow of qi (energy).

I was taught this exercise by my Taijiquan Sifu. He taught it as the first stage of QiGong. It is the first stage because it used to develop the ability to "sense" or feel Qi.

You start with just the hands, moving them in and out in coordination with your breath. Once this level has been developed to a high degree use the hands and forearms to gather Qi (not just the hands). The next stage again starts to develop the sensation of Qi on the outside of the arms and finally the rest of the body.

He was clear that this level of QiGong is developing sensitivity and not actually drawing Qi into the body. That comes after.

Interesting that you call it a 'magnet'! I just call it energy. And yes, we can use it for our own highest good and the highest good of others. I personally use that energy in the form of Reiki in order to heal myself and others.

I should add that there was the time when I had this magnetic sensation constantly above my head. It lasted about a year. It was the time when I was attending meetings at the Meditation Club. Then the Teacher introduced me to a person with great psychic abilities, Mr.G., who predicted my future, and told me that he would make a Channel of telepathy connection with me. Later he did it. I share my story here on this site in the thread "Abuse in the Telepathy Channel". The thing is that the Channel was preceded by some other events, and during one of those event I lost that magnetic sensation above my head . It happened after I had violated the rule (I was told about that rule by Mr.G. before) to keep silence, and avoid sharing with anybody what was happening to me. Instead I called my Teacher and told him about what was bothering me.
My question is:
What was that magnetic sensation above my head which I started feeling constantly? Do you think it could be made artificially by that psychic, Mr.G., just to make me being interested in meditations more? ( Later I found out that he was involved and actually was the main person in the Meditation Club).
As for this Magnet above my head it remains a mystery for me, because though I don't feel it constantly any more, still I can feel it when I make a special effort.

It was the rule invented by Mr.G. I was supposed to keep silence about anything that happened to me, I was not allowed to speak to the Teacher as well. Mr.G. didn't explain me why. He just said that if I violated that rule because I was scared and talked to the Teacher I wouldn't have the Channel. At that time I didn't know what Channel he was talking about. Because he made me forget about the meeting where he told me about the telepathy channel. When the events started I was really scared, and I called to the Teacher. Some minutes later after my call I had suddenly got a feeling that some 'string' inside me blew up. And at that moment the magnetic sensation above my head ... disappeared. I was upset very much. I thought that was the Channel he was talking about, and I had lost it, I wouldn't have it any more...
Actually it was Mr.G.'s aim to make things mixed so much, to make me forget about his predictions, then to remember about them. It was his way to manipulate... he happened to be a black magician.
I published this thread because I thought somebody would tell me something about the Magnet which I have (still have, but not so strong as before) above my head. Now I came to the conclusion that it's just energy, nothing else.

But I've forgotten one thing. If this Magnet is just energy why now, when I have the Channel, do I feel this Magnet as a part of the Channel, inside? Is it my energy or the energy from the Channel? It's important for me to understand that because I am looking for all the ways to cut this Channel, or cord.

Perhaps it is another type of "energetic magnet"... I do feel a magnet in both my hands and if I pass them over those of another reiki-atuned friend, I do also feel his energy, as if it were a pushing magnet.

Perhaps there are many kinds of "magnets" out there...
