Crown chakra headache after meditation

I had an interesting event occur during meditation this evening.

I meditate for 30 minutes a couple of times a day. Tonight I became aware of my thoughts completely stopping and in general becoming a slightly discombobulated. I don't remember hearing or feeling anything until I heard my meditation timer sound; it was a very, very quiet experience. Once the alarm sounded I woke to a disoriented feeling and a rather painful headache at the top of my head. It feels like a crown chakra headache.

Even after four hours I can still feel a little bit of the headache. I didn't have a headache before or during the meditation.

I've been going through the forums and haven't found anything about this. Has anyone had these experiences? My acupuncturist thinks I'm trying to project and my body won't let it. After reading some of the forum posts, I sense I projected once in the past couple of months unintentionally (I was watching my body vibrating while side-sleeping). I'm not sure what happened today.

I think your post will get a better response in the Spirituality, consciousness and awareness forum as there is nothing specifically paranormal about your experience.

During your meditation your energy probably did reach your crown chakra. Possibly due to blocks for some reason or another the crown chakra never opened fully and the heightened energy caused a little discomfort for you. But that's ok. Keep meditating.
