Has anyone been on the Damanhur Damanhur.Info - Home Page Magazine website or been to Damanhur? A friend showed it to me recently. This community secretly spent ten yrs tunneling underground and creating a series of meditation rooms with huge tiffany lead light domes and artwork that includes sacred symbols. Its being called the eighth wonder of the world.
The community is a democracy whose goal is the future sustainability of the planet. They have developed leading edge technology (including a time machine:check out the research link and selfist) and attracted the attention of leading universities around the world for their technological, ecological, foresight. The philosophy behind Damanhur is mindblowing. Love to hear any feeback.

Hi Lally. Isn't funny how there is so much out there now-adays that research the truth behind our existence. It's funny to me how there are individuals in this world who preach that we are closed natured; that nothing beyond full explanation or of the norm is of reality but yet the multitudes of people everyday that are continuing to come forth with proof of experiencing growth in divinity and spiritual awakening never ceases to speak loudly. It's almost as if the last 2 years or so have skyrocketed into a world of awareness. We are in a huge transition period within the human race and it never ceases to amaze me.

Here is an exhert from the website you linked for a quick and fast overview of the Damanhurian philosophy / belief system. I liked the meditation day set aside for May 20th. I'll need to look more into that. It will be interesting to see the results.

The Philosophy of Damanhur is based upon optimism. Every human being contains a divine principle and is part of an active spiritual eco-system that includes higher and higher forces. I found some of the information presented in Damanhur related sites from universities with an interest in the technological and ecological breakthroughs at Damanhur very interesting too. It's quite breathtaking that the community is democratically run, has structure, has a potent spiritual base underpinning their philosophy, yet is so open at the same time to new forward thinking input from the rest of the world. Will be interesting to watch how it develops over the next few years.

WARNING TO ALL

Damanhur is a newage cult who's only aim is to make sure they get all your money, and dependent on them for your livelihood for those foolish enough to become Class A Citizens. New allegations of sex abuse and money laundering have come out against them. I strongly believe this is a corrupt organization I have watched them personally engage in a lot of censorship. I discovered what was going on with this cult on May 25th, and decided to help the Italian victims of this cult to expose them. I used to think it was an authentic eco village and spiritual community, but not anymore!

About two paragraphs into what CFPurpose had pasted....Occult was exwhat actly I was thinking. Any time that they refer to the members of their community as "subjects" something isn't right.

To each his own, but if they drag out the punch bowl and the solo cups...run.
