Default synchronities then OBE/Astral and synchronities again

Hello,

tonight i made the first hand experience that there is more than our physical body.

Im new to this, I think I need advice from people with experience.

I got last time very often the synchronity of bats, butterflies and dragonflies, every symbol stands for transformation/change, that is what i already looked up. it was out of comfort zone, but still okay.

Im reading about lucid dreaming, i want to learn it, i already had some fun in this area and so i work with the presleep conciousness.

tonight i slept at the room of my niece (3years), in halfsleep state i felt more intuitive than normally, its weird, i could check how my niece felt, not reading the mind of course but i could get the "feeling of her conciousness" which reminded me of myself when i was very young.

Ok, now i dont know what it was, there i need advice.
Did I had an Astral Projection or an OBE, how can i differ?

I was lying on my stomach, i was very relaxed and sensed an vibration like it would be near my head, as i just observed and didnt control anything. the vibe came near and got in my head. than i felt a strong draft from my stomach to my head. my body felt the same moment paralysed - are these activated chakras? then i hear myself breathing very loudly "from inside" like a doctor with stethoscopes. i was afraid so i didnt decide to leave my body, i only stepped out with my "head" just out of curiosity.

It was weird, i was awake, 100% sure.
I got some insight about my life after experiencing this, but this would be to much to perform.

I now sat down to my laptop, first song which came was "There will be light" and i got an email from amazon with the book recommendation of " Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway: How to Turn Your Fear and Indecision into Confidence and Action".

Subjective Reality is a hard thing to do if you have no one that understands what your are going trough, only six months ago i was very scientific and stable in my mind and now im often scared but curious too.

Are there people out there who are going the same thing trough?

Mind to have any converstaion about these things on skype?

Was this the begining of an OBE or an Astral?

Are we more intuitive/wise in presleep state?

Feel free to answer.

There's actually very little difference between an out-of-body experience, an astral projection, and a lucid dream, but... our intellects always like to slice and dice things into little sections to be analyzed to death.

However the vibrations and the paralysis are classic symptoms of an OBE or an AP. The important thing is to not let fear get the best of you, because it can get ugly. When you're in an out-of-body state your fears are instantly manifested... we don't get the lag time that we have in the physical. So the vibrations can get very loud and scary, and the paralysis can take a form of where it seems like someone is sitting on you and holding you down, sometimes called the 'Old Hag' syndrome.

So when these symptoms come, just flow with them, there is nothing to fear and you get kinda used to them after awhile. The important thing is to recognize that this is a valid path for personal growth and self-knowledge. For instance it's much easier to contact your Higher Self or your guides when you get to the astral planes. Most times you can simply request that which you wish to experience and it is there instantly.
Good Luck!

Glückwünsche!

You should find this is the start of many interesting experiences in your life.

The phenomena you describe is sleep paralysis. I get it about 2 times a month nowadays. It's common to feel fear during this, and it's quite common to stick your head out, or move other parts of your body outside your body. Sleep paralysis is usually at the onset of a conscious out-of-body/astral-projection. Exit symptoms are sometimes quite intense with buzzing sounds, various sensations in the body etc.

I remember there was a discussion about this in the following threads on this forum:
Back Cramping During Sleep Paralysis

And this one is a bit weirder: Slightly disturbing astral experience

The BEST resource for learning more about what is happening to you, in my opinion, is through a guy called Robert Bruce. I strongly suggest reading through Robert Bruce's "Treatise on Astral Projection (volume II)". You can access it for free by clicking here

He's also written the book "Astral Dynamics", which is the most comprehensive book on the subject.

Yes the dynamics behind the fear is actually quite funny.

There's a feedback loop between the physical body and your projected astral double. When your double is close to your body and you feel its presence but can't see it, your physical mind is afraid, your astral body feels this fear through the cord and gets scared, and this goes back to the physical body etc. and it creates a feedback loop amplifying the emotion like when you put a microphone next to a speaker.

This happens because both your physical and astral bodies have dual consciousness thinking separately at the same time but are interlinked. It's called the mind-split and is absolutely fascinating and at the heart of successful OBE's. Rob Bruce goes into this extensively in his book Astral Dynamics.

Analyzing things to death sounds pretty much like me
But for me a lucid dream seems very different to a OBE, because i didn't felt to asleep, but i can only finally tell if i discover the astral.

Oh yes i had this thing as a early teenager, but i didnt know with what i was handling, as other things that i thought were dreams or halluzinations.

Old Hag is scary man, my walls turned black and i was hearing steps....

Since a few days i've the intention to meet my guide or my higher self in a lucid dream, because there is so much i like to ask, maybe something helped me to get that AP, i don't know.
