Default What are crystal children?

I talk a lot about indigos, but what are crystal children? I really haven't found any resource online that has given me a convincing understanding of them.

Can anyone explain?

From what I know (my sister is supposedly and Indigo so I did my own little bit of research) - Crystal children seemingly are a higher form of an Indigo.

More advanced, more in tune with their spiritual selves, less problems coming to terms with their gifts than Indigos, also Indigos seem to be more the heart, crytals are more the head.

These are just my brief understandings, its been a while since I looked.

I'll see if I can find the links I looked over and post them up for you.

Interestingly the thread below this " Spotting number patterns" applied a link about Angel numbers, but this has a whole host of information on angels themseles, indigos, crystals and so on

About Angels

I've never read anything like this on them before, but an interesting read all the same.

I have a personal theory that indigos give birth to crystal children. My son's father and myself are both indigo.

While Indigo children have been born for the last 100 years or so, crystal children began to come to this plane of existence in the late 90s/early 2000s. These kids are powerful on an intuitive level. I think their main purpose is to take us to the next level in our evolution, and reveal to us our inner power and divinity. They function as a group consciousness rather than as individuals. They are a powerful force for love and peace on the planet.

Part of my transformation from darkworker to lightworker involved bringing a crystal child into this world. He has accelerated my inner journey to a tremendous degree.

I also care for a group of crystal children in my single mom's co-op, and when they are together they can be quite intense, and they shock me with their insights. Their capacity for forgiveness and unconditional love is beautiful.

Yesterday a 2 year old told me that she, my son, and their 4 y.o. friend had all lived in El Dorado together, the city of gold...weird. They speak of past incarnations freely.

Another little girl recently told me that they (the kids) were going to build a stairway to a big house the inside of the universe where everyone could live together and be happy.

My son is only 2 years old and he can already run a half mile (we jog together so he can get energy out), reads letters and numbers, and has recently started reading words associated with feeling states - he spelled out and read "happy" and "yucky" the other day.

I lived with an Indigo woman and her 10yr old crystal daughter. Her daughter was so far ahead of her time, I kept forgetting she was only 10 and used to talk to her as an adult...which got me in trouble with her mum quite alot This girl just knew things that I didn't re-discover til I was 20.

This woman called me a "Light Being" and said I was an Indigo as well, though I don't call myself one...I do see some things that are Indigo-like in me. Other women have said it to me as well.

Her mother was quite rude to me though, and actually screwed me royally. But she was quite unwell mentally at the time, and wanted me to take over being her child's mother so she could run off and have a life. I think she'd taken too much acid at some point...she was pretty out there.

I have another friend who has a 20 month old daughter who is so intelligent, it's crazy. She can already speak, and she understand it when her mother asks her stuff and answers by pointing to what she wants.

Wherever we go people just light up with joy, which I know people do anyway with small children...but it's just a little different when they see her...her mother is well aware that she is a little buddha and does everything to allow that and not impose any societal crap on her. She will no doubt get that at some point, but at least she has a fighting chance with a mother who doesn't impose crap on her to supress her god-like state.

Highest vibrating children on this plane yet. Though I'm super bored with labels, i have been told my daughter is a "crystal child with very pure high vibrations". I have read the D. Virtue book about crystal children. They are pretty much just like indigo, minus the edge. But it's funny to read Indigo can have an edge since my youngest brother is one and (lol, well aside from manufacturing little bombs when he was a kid ) he's a most loving, emotionally mature and smart guy. Don't tell him he's indigo, he'll bite your head off because of the label. When I read about all the spiritual talks crystals have it just plain reminded me of my brother as a toddler, when he talked with my mother about God, Atlantis etc. I think crystals are strong healers since birth as well (hmmm, my son could be one too!). I know a lady who told me (and she's not that "woo-woo") "each time my grandson put his hand on me, it feels like i am getting holistic healing". Maybe an other little crystal?

I wouldn't be surprised that lots and lots of kids nowadays are. when i had a failed attempt at trying my son at childcare a year ago i had to run back ten minutes later (he was so upset) and all those little people were trying hard to comfort him. A maybe 4 (?) years old boy put his hand on my shoulder as i was putting my son's jacket on and he looked at me in the eyes and assured me he had tried his best to comfort my son as i was on my way, because he always wants to care for younger children when they look upset. I could have hugged and kissed this little guy, it was just so "pure"!!!!

Eh. I don't believe in such labels. You could call me indigo, crystal, whatever. But, all I know is that I am great at healing and I am developing a good sense of my intuition.

Those kids sound totally adorable Weena

Lol, I'm going to be even more edgy and rebellious and avant-guarde than you guys now. I'm going to be "bored of being bored of labels".

They work, they're useful, potentially an ego trap or a misunderstanding creator, but in balance, sometimes they are really worth it.

I just hang out with an indigo from belgium who came to spain just now and it really was cool to talk about indigos and all that. I just feel comfortable now. I guess I've done the whole cycle; being too attached to label, overly rejecting the label, and coming to a sense of peace with the whole thing...

I'm interested in this. I know most (...all) indigos have a calling to lightwork, but some do get on the wrong path. You were a darkworker? What happened? Were you suffering a lot as a young person?

I know as a kid I'd have never expected I'd become a lightworker. I felt more like a bad guy. But I think this was my inculcated low self-esteem.

It's not ALWAYS the case, I know an indigo whose children were actually young souls. But that seemed to be the exception. In general, lightworkers seem to give birth to indigos, indigos to crystals, and crystals to rainbows...

Believe me when I tell you I'm not trying to blow my own horn. But thank you for the thread. Im so very happy. When I got my abilities they were suprisingly strong, and new ones came fast, sometimes the next day. I was confused, and thought I was either crazy or my fate was something big. My friend went through this and I can honestly say she is my twin flame. So we thought we were destined to save the world or atleast thats what my mind told me to keep one thread of sanity through complete fiction (ironic to me) but her grandmother was a light worker and her mother and indigo (which proved too much for her and she quit and hid it in her youngin days) I talked to my grandmother about my abilities and I found she was a light worker also so the process repeats.

I was scared and up to the talk that happened a week ago with my grandmother I was still doubting my sanity. Thank you. I dont like the label. I feel egotistical and over flowing with pride when I use it.

Yeah, I experienced a lot of suffering and objectification. Lots of loss. Anger.

I've heard that this is the first earthly incarnation of crystals. Indigos have that "edge" because they were endowed with a warrior spirit in order to survive and shape the transformation of consciousness. They suffer in this incarnation only if they seek to avoid fulfilling their calling in whatever arena that may be. Crystals are more gentle and peaceful, and they can have a calming effect on indigos.

We are all on our paths, whether we like it or not. Label or not, you can be like a fish trying to run away from the water but as long as you try to run from what is, it will feel uncomfortable, or even unbearable. That is why this process requires us to blow our minds open so far - past the point of everything you have been conditioned to accept, and beyond the reach of every viral mental meme you contain in your neural pathways.

The 14th C. Persian poet Hafiz:
Quote:
I am a hole in a flute
that the Christ's breath moves through

Welcome.

I have felt that too, I guess you just learn to put it in perspective. Label or no label, we do have to come to terms with the fact that we are kind of cosmic superheroes. We have loads of intelligence, gifts, and powers to use. That can be a temptation to pride. But even worse is hiding all of this out of fear of pride, or fear of attack from people who you make insecure. We're here to shine; we were given gifts so that we could share them.

Interesting... a lot of my friends say I calm them... especially when I'm in a relationship...

Tbh I'm not much of a warrior anymore. I feel kind of fragile sometimes. Like I need people to defend me.

Question: If you mother was an indigo that doesn't necessarliy mean ALL her children will be crystal does it? I dont think any of my siblings are crystal but they do possess abilities, weak, but they are there.

No, as I said it's not a hard and fast rule, but the general tendency seems to be there. I also know of a lot of indigos who have had indigo children. And yeah (did i mention this?) one indigo who had young soul children. (I think she attracted them into her life because she is a chronic complainer and can't forgive the negativity she percieves in young souls...)

Don't we all have gifts in some form or another? It's just deciding to use them or not? Choosing a path of awakening?

I was told as I got a good cleansing yesterday after alot of scary stuff happening to me, that I am " a lightworker" never even knew what that was, or thought it just happened to others, not me.

Basically I was told I have had many past lives, ive done so much good through them, most of them as a healer seemingly, that this has carried through, im a pure soul and still carry the gift, that I chose this life "reincarnation" for a reason, but that I would have chosen a family gifted enough for myself.

Haha wierd when I was told that, I said if I got to choose why in the flippin hell did I choose Ireland.

Anyway, my family is quite gifted, My little sister is an Indigo, im 90% sure my mother and other sister are empaths, my little brother is so grounded at 19 yrs of age its scary, my nephews have spoken alot about spiritual issues, things they should have no clue about at 2 and 3, my grandparents where also extremely gifted, as are some of my cousins and my aunt.

The differences I have seen, and learned, between an Indigo and a soul that has reincarnated over, is an Indigo has never had a past life, this is their first time. They are more sensitive emotionally and mentally.

All in all, really what im saying is while I have been on, and currently still on, my spiritual journey, well all have the potential for great things.

Maybe Indigos and Crystals and other labels given, are here to remind us, of our humanity, of the great things we as a combined race can do, sometimes all to easily we can vear to unhealthy agendas and thoughts.

When I look at my sister (even though she has had so many mental and emotional distraughts to endure) I still smile, because she smiles, she's like a beacon of light and doesn't even know it, everyday her presence, its special and reminds me to love.

I've met a lot of indigos and most of them have had a lot of past lives. I only know of one who has had very few past lives. I personally think I may be similar, though I'm not sure, and I've definitely been around since Atlantis at least. I think I may have waited out the Dark Ages in the ether though.

Indigos are basically identified by their traits. You could check out my article, How to Tell if You Are Indigo ? Lightworkers' Connection if you need some clarification on that...

That's definitely true, but indigos have a lot of extra gifts as compared to most people. We all have infinite potential long term. But in the shorter term, we work within the limitations of space-time.

How would you know if you are indigo, or crystal for that matter?

Well, the easiest way is to read about the traits and consider whether they fit you or not.

Characteristics of Crystal Children

Indigo and Crystal Children - Are You One? Do You Have One? Frequently Asked Questions

The second link says Crystals often have delayed speech, but of course that or any other trait isn't necessarily required.

And to complicate this further, some are born as Indigo and transition to Crystal. Partly because so many Crystals were born with the intention to be consciously expressing the characteristics but found the world so incredibly harsh that they retreated inward. So some Indigos are moving to Crystal vibration so there can be enough conscious representation of that vibration in the outer/social world. (Some may transition for other reasons as well, as a kind of side effect of evolving on their path.) But Crystals who retreat inward ARE still holding that vibratory space for the world, and for their geographic region, to keep that region connected to the latest alterations to the crystalline grid.

I just hang out with an indigo from belgium who came to spain just now and it really was cool to talk about indigos and all that. I just feel comfortable now. I guess I've done the whole cycle; being too attached to label, overly rejecting the label, and coming to a sense of peace with the whole thing...
LOL, sounds like my latest blog post. (Personal Development through the Chakras: Label-Phobia and Label-Centricism) Love you Andrew.

Interesting, I spoke very early....I have a lot of mismatched characteristics, and to complicate that is the possibility of repression.

When I was little, I remember being told I was an angel. As an adult, I've been told I'm Indigo. Does that mean I'm a peaceful, enlightened, gentle person?

Um, sometimes I can be. But boy, do I have a temper, and my son (Indigo, probably, as he has a fierce warrior spirit too) can really bring it out of me.

My daughter is a young, bright soul. We three have been together before, and she and I had some unresolved karma from the last time. My son has always called himself my guardian angel, that he's here to watch out for me, and I believe it. He's very protective towards the people he loves.

I posted on a thread about Indigo children on another forum once, and it started a firestorm of parents saying "what makes you people think your children so superior? They're just spoiled!" Because we were using a label they were uncomfortable with, they thought we were trying to show our children as being more special than theirs, which was not our intention.

I have had a similar reaction. Indigos are kind of gifted. Which does attract jealousy at times. Still, when you're speaking up you gotta tell it like it is (avoiding getting your ego trapped, of course).

It's fun to meet another Indigo and we just click. I hired a guy once who looked at me when I walked through the door of his studio and he said "so you're Indigo too? I knew you would be." It was nice to be able to have metaphysical chats with someone, and neither of us thought the other was crazy. He's also one of the very, very few men my son liked.
