In short, it is just names like Generation X or The Millenials. They are just made up names for a general time period's generation, only the Indigo/Crystal/Whatever Children are based on occult-ish beliefs that aren't based in reality.

Don't you think that labels aside, maybe the rising level of consciousness of the parents may help with the level of consciousness of the new babies. Years ago if a child told you they saw spirits parents would have said "It's your imagination. Go back to sleep". Now I think people would look into it more. The level of "love" is higher now as well. Decades ago people did not have time for the kisses and cuddles, they had to work hard, wash their clothes by hands, work in the fields (or similar things). Now that we have appliances to do the work we can really spend a lot more time giving the children all the attention they need. Ergo, they are just much more "new-agy feeling". No?

I saw a psychic at the weekend who told me I am a crystal child, which I had never heard of..

I do fit a vast majority of the traits mentioned; the act of violence and war deeply puzzles and affects me, more so than other people i know. I also spoke late, even though you couldn't shut me up now. People are drawn to me for advice.

The traits of 'crystal children' sound very similar to that of people with an introverted disposition...which counts for MANY people on this forum.

A lot of people are bewildered by the concept of war...hence the 60's revolution and protests against the war in Vietnam. It's not just you believe me, though it might seem that way if you are surrounded by people who are just resigned to war being part of being human...which it is. Violence and being war-like is part of out nature, and it is there for when we need to defend ourselves if attacked.

Violence (not just war), has always upset me..even if it's just boys punching each other at school or outside a club. I get so upset by it. My ex boyfriend used to love getting aggressive and if someone gave him or one of his friends a slightly dodgy look, he'd be ready to pounce and 'protect'. I cannot stand that kind of behaviour.

Why can't we all just be friends? haha

Yeah, me too. I wonder if I'm some kind of Indigo/Crystal hybrid because I had this obsession with rocks and crystals as a kid... I was also strangely into aliens and drawing psychedelic mushrooms. I have an old drawing of when I was in 5th grade of a mystical place I made up called "mushroomania."

I've been like this as well...in my late teens/early twenties. Infact, during my travels around Oz, I collected so many random rocks, I kept them in a garbage bag and met up with my brother in Queensland one time.
He agreed to take my stuff back to our hometown in his car, as he was driving, while I kept on wandering around. He had no idea what was in the bag, or why it was so heavy. I think he transported it over 3 states and said it was so heavy that he one time had a look inside at what was in there to make it so heavy and just found all these rocks
He was so mad that he threw the all out But I still find it so funny as I can really see his face when he worked out what he'd been carrying around for so long...
