Colored Spirit Guides
 

So, anyway, I have been trying to communicate with my spirit guides and everytime before I go to bed I always make an intention to make contact.

The result is that I have been having some very weird experiences in my dreams, the most telling one is that in one of my dreams I saw a blue form hovering in the air and the form was trying to communicate with me telling me to follow it/him/her, the next time, it was a yellow form and it kept following me around and I was kind of scared. The yellow form communicated with me and told me to "dream big dreams."

Are these my guides?

That's very interesting. Guides can appear in many different ways. Colored shapes or energies could be one way. You want to work on tuning those in more clearly. They may take form or they may not. As long as they seem of high vibration to you, it's good.

Can you please elaborate the "seem of high vibration" part or refer to one of your posts Erin?

There are all kinds of entities out there and sometimes they are high vibration beings and sometimes not so high, so you want to be careful who you're listening to. it can be hard to tell sometimes, but your Spidey Sense will tingle when the entity is not really friendly and just pretending to be.

I would like to humbly add to Erin's perfect statement that if you can make yourself do it within a dream, acknowledge the entity,color form, whatever it may be that is communicating with you and then say to it, "If you are not here with sole purpose of my well being and good spiritual ascent, you are not welcome."

They have to follow the law and the law states that all spirits, entities, higher beings, lower beings, must always stay true to their nature and when questioned on their purpose, must respond accordingly. :D

This reminded me of my first really bizarre encounter, when I was young.

Several months after my grandfather passed from cancer, in the early 1970s when a diagnosis of cancer usually meant certain death, we were visiting my grandmother during Thanksgiving. My aunt and uncle were in town from Huntsville, so the house was full of people.

I was sleeping in the living room when a bright light woke me up. I figured it was someone getting something from the kitchen.

I opened my eyes to spot a bright, blue flame thing hovering at the foot of my mattress. I began to panic, about to panic and freak out when I was hit by a blast of warmth, and I was suddenly very calm. A voice said “Go back to sleep, it’s only me..”

Most people see human-type forms, but this was a blue flame. My daughter has seen it near me recently, BTW. I asked and it's some type of higher level spirit hanging around and checking on me. Like a Guide for Guides..

It most definitely was NOT my grandfather - I've seen him as well, always a simple presence or smell (Old Spice cologne...)
