A major news story locally has been the disappearance of a 6 year old girl from her home. Rumours and innuendo abound, she had not been seen by anyone but her parents for 2 - 3 weeks beforehand.

An Aboriginal Elder working from a dream in which a girl was murdered and dumped has led police to a body in a local reserve. But it's wasn't the right body this was the torso of an adult woman. A lady who disappeared a couple of months ago, in another area miles away.

When I read this story this morning, it really shocked me, so much that I completely forgot my log in for my bank account. The reason is that the reserve is at the end of my street and my son plays there most weeks. He and his friends spend a lot of time there, exploring and getting very muddy in the process. I'm so glad that they didn't stumble on the body or worse. It's been cold here so they haven't so they haven't been going there over the past few weeks.
