Was I Close?!

For a while I've had the goal of having lucid dreams by will. Or atleast just having some. Well this morning I had a few moments of lucid dreaming.

I slept for two hours then got up to go help my Grandpa with the new house. On the way home I got a soda from Mc Donalds for a little caffine.

When I got home I went back to sleep, as soon as I went down I started having dreams. It was like I meditated to calm my mind, my mind was awake but my body was not. They were small but I was so suprised that I completely knew I was awake I didnt really concentrate on the dream itself. I could see it still going in the background and I think I had three of them. Then I crashed and stayed asleep for a few hours.

So I think I know what happened. It was WBTB and the caffine. So was there anything that I can do to concentrate next time? Or was I even close?

The best way to get better at decoding your dreams is to start a dream journal. Every time you wake up, before you get out of bed, write everything you remember about what you saw and then date it. You will notice that you are able to recall more and also understand what each object and situation means. We exist without the walls of time in our sleep, so it can be disorienting, but if you start to log it you will be able to use your dreams to better yourself.

Thank you. I have one online and a normal one that I use to keep myself refreshed until I get to the site. I also do reality checks.

It's really important to log right as soon as you open your eyes or valid and integral information will be lost by the blocking done by your ego as it wakes up.
