third eye help - where to go from here

Hi all, hope you are well

Over the lat few months i have been focusing on my third eye, i am trying to find what i am good at and develop my psychic abilities, I am at the point now where i can almost every time make my third eye chakra tingle without any kind of music or anything, i have a few questions

firstly, i wondered if anyone else gets this, i can make my third eye tingle but some times i feel the tingle also higher up on my forehead across the middle or near my hair line, does anyone else get this or can offer suggestions on what it means

secondly, i'm not really sure where to go from here, at the moment i am out of work as i am acting as a carer fr my husband so can't afford to buy anything, the last book i broughti didn't find very helpful

I was hoping to be able to work with spirit but aso acknowledge that maybe i am not meant to.

I am not so bad at mirror work, the face i see reflected often changes to not mine but other than look at me it doesn't pass anything on, i'm not sure if maybe i'm not hearing.

And my final question, i really dont undertand how the third eye vision works, the other day my husband said something about a plan and stright away i knew what it looked like down to the paper it was drawn on but i didn't 'see' it it was more of a knowing thing, but sometimes i see flashes of things but they come and go so quickly i can't make out any real detail

I would really appreciate any help or advice that anyone could offer

I can also make my third eye tingle! I love it! Im developing it to help my abilities too.

I have no idea what your talking about with the Mirror Work unfortunately :/

Sometimes I see light through doors, or walls, its cool to see people like that. More of like a silouette its like a light gray. And as far as I know its 3rd eye vision.

Again I appologize for not being able to convey too much information just thought it would help to know that someone else knows.

I have a very non-psychic question for you, kitai.

Are you trying to escape problems in the physical world by jumping into your psychic development? Trying to force some development there because you seem to be stuck in "normal life"?

I've been there before, which makes me believe this sounds somewhat familiar.

Kitai, I got into activating my third eye chakra and pineal gland when I was pretty young.

Over time I developed the ability to see my etheric aura, which is as visible as anything physical to me. It's a thin layer that surrounds the body and is close to the physical. I also see lots of orbs, flashes of light and blobs of energy now and again.

Pretty neat stuff. But it does come at a price. By activating those higher chakras it puts a large demand on your energy supplies, so your physical energy gets burned up to develop these abilities. The energy being burned up comes from your dantien area which is located inside your body around the navel area.

The energy stored in your navel area is accumulated through normal absorption processes, but since you're putting a fairly unnatural demand on your system you will need to work on your hand/arms and feet/legs systems which feed energy into this area.

This is a wide problem, because the third eye is so new and interesting so you tend to not care about improving the supporting systems. I learned the hard way. Got lethargic and dissociated which is very common. It took me about a year of working my arms/leg and dantien system to get back my normal physical energy.

I've now overshot that and can supercharge myself with physical energy using certain techniques.

Rickrock - thanks, I love working on the third eye, but every time i do i get this feeling like there's something i am meant to do after but i'm not sure what.
With regards to mirror work, since i was 13 i have been able to look into a mirror, a little like scrying, i look at my relfection and the image in the mirror relax my eyes changes, sometimes they are drastic changes, I write this as an example to show the change noe as anything racial, so please no one take offense, i am white and once when i did it i had a black man looking back at me, another time i had a woman with blonde hair, i have dark brown hair, the only thing is i can see them but i don't exactly know what to do with them or if they are trying to tell me something, i may be looking at me in a past life i have no idea but i've been doing it for a long time and always find it comforting, although the first time it happened i was a little scared when i first saw it but the feeling of calmness that came with it was really comforting.

Mynder - Not at all I have been intersted in developing my psychic abbilities for over 15 years, i started when i was about 13 but back then there was limited things available for me and i had no internet but could have 1 book for my birthday each year, when i got my first job at 15 i started investing in literature and tarot reading (which i was very good at) and was drawn to witchcraft. From these i learnt who i was as a person and where i wanted to be and just when i figures out who i was i met my husband. I am actually very happy with my life, i know who i am and understand myself on possibly every level, the only thing i would change would be that my husband didn't suffer so much physical pain from his illness.
Anyway i moved away from Tarot reading about 4 years ago and stopped my development of my abbilities because I was going through a really bad time and I didn't want to do anything without the right intent due to the possibility of attracting negative energies.

Over the last 8 months I received a very clear message that the time was right to start again i had only been reading and doing meditation exercises a week when i came across someone running an awareness circle / spiritual devlepment group and they took me in to help guide me on my skills. I also found this forum whilst looking for answers to some of my questions so i joined.

I haven't figured out where my skills now lie although i think i am now being pulled towards healing since I have completed my Reiki and all my family and friends i have practised on have had postive results but i also feel like i am being pulled somewhere else i just don't know where but i know it's something i will have to work at, i was very good at Tarot readings however over my time away things have changed and i don't feel the same way about it as i did, someone suggested crystal gazing and since i had a crystal i am trying that. It is no way a way to get away from my 'normal' life, it is something i have been drawn to since a teenager.

The reason i am asking for so much help is because i value people's exeperience and advice, in addition i am not in a position where i can spend lots of money on books only to find out they are not what i need or want after all.


Lionman - funny you should mention flahes of light, recently it has happened a few times, i have had a flash of light like a camera flash either in the room i was in or in the room i was going to, I use to have it a lot as a teenager, at the time i wondered if it signified a choice in my life.
The energy thing I am very careful, i recently became a reiki master but since learning I can visualise and feel the energy running from my crown to root and through my body, i meditate nightly one of the first things i do is protection, then i open my crown chakra, which feels like goose pimples sometimes and i visualise the energy going down my chakras filling each one and clearing blockages as they pass each chakra some of the golden energyspreads out, by the time i reach my root i can 'see' (in my mind) what i can only describe as my blood system layout but flled with energy, if i see any bloackages i work on them until everything is balances then focus on my third eyes whilst allowing the energy to continue to run through me. Since i've been doing this i have found that i myself am in very good health and i am energetic and also i seem to be able to eat more calories per day without gaining weight which i love. At one point i was really big i managed to lose a lot of weight and now i am happy (ish) with how i look but i measure myself every few days and it use to be that if i ate a lot i would see the difference over the course of a week where as now i don't but i think this is because i am using the energy another way. When i have really strong feelings with meditation it often leaves me hungry. Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it, I honestly feel i need to devlop this it's like a pulling feeling but somehing is telling me now i can do this part there is something else i need to do related to it, i just have no idea what

I have fully unlocked and opened my third eye! I am Enlightened! The best path to ever lead to Enlightenment and unlock/open your third eye, is through Buddhism, but I have done all this without Buddhism at the age of 20, simply because we are all that powerful, we do not need help of paths such as Buddhism as we are worthy of knowledge, but if we cannot do this without the path, which is possible to happen for some in life, then the the best path to enlightenment is through the teachings of an enlightened one. An enlightened once can use the teachings of Buddhism which is the greatest path leading to enlightenment created by an enlightened one to lead those to onto the path enlightenment.

Here's a great way to continue with your third-eye training. repeat this invocation 3 times outloud:

"Angels of Spirituality
who increase our might,
touch my third-eye,
fill me with God's Light!"

I know this sounds a bit silly, but it works for me, I feel incredible energy moving into my third-eye with this. The invocation is from the book "Calling all Angels" by Joyce Keller.

It's a great book and has many practical invocations from the angels that can really help.
