I had a weird one last night. I mixed people and languages between my dream and reality. So in my dream i was at my parents house and i could here my youngest brother upstairs crying and calling out in French...then i realised it was actually happening, but it was my son, in English, in real life, crying in the middle of the night "mummy! daddy! sister!". What a mix up .

Maybe it means i love Angela?

I had a dream last night about an ex-colleague of mine. When we were working together, we always got along quite well. Even now, we are on good terms. In my dream however, she was rude to me, she got angry and then indirectly sabotaged my position in front of my ex-boss.

So, why would my subconscious create such a different projection of her, which does not match the interaction we have had so far?

And if that is so, does that mean I have different images of all my friends, one in my conscious and another one in my subconscious?

Well i have a dream interpretation request. ;-) Last week i had the same type of dream two nights in a row. The first night I had a dream that i was at a hotel and my brother was in the pool swimming with my son. I was watching them through the window, and all of a sudden my brother stopped watching him, and i saw my son drowning so i ran quickly to save him, as i dove into the pool the water began to get murky and i couldn't see him so i felt around until i could feel his head and i grabbed him towards me. I saved my son and he said he was ok, and then i just saw my brother hanging out on the edge of the pool, i called out to him asking him why he did that, and it was like i didn't exist he didn't answer i'm like hey i'm talking to hey hey hey, until he like snapped out of his little tranced look and then says to me, he's not drowning. The second night i had a dream i was in my yard and my son somehow escaped to the neighbors yard and was being attacked by a rabbid squirell (weird huh) so i start running to his aide and i started climbing these fences that were like 12 feet high with barbed wire... i finally make it to my son until i reached the last fence to my property, it too was really high with barbed wire and there was a gate on the fence that had a lock on a chain so i see my brother on the other side of and i tell him to climb to the top and grab my son because i can't just drop him at the top it's too high... he tells me no, you can help yourself. I was like what? what do mean i can help myself don't you see that my son is hurt, so i got soo angry i took the chain with the lock on it and broke it with my bare hands. What do you think this all means?

This is a dream I had a while ago, but I thought it was pretty unusual. I hardly ever have bad dreams.

Four white cardinals and one red cardinal would sit and preen on a branch over a busy highway. There was a nearby lake that they would fly to. They would find a stone and stun a frog sunning itself on the surface. One would carry the frog and drop it onto the highway and they would watch as it was smashed into bits by the traffic. It was just a diversion they had devised.

Now I'm standing by the highway and up in the distance is a wreck. People are irritated at the traffic standstill and are getting out of their cars. It's hot and tempers are short. Something is said, I can't remember what, that starts a riot. People are throwing rocks and pebbles at each other. I can't run anywhere because I've walked up onto an overpass. I'm being stoned from every direction and all I can do is huddle down and wait for it to end. I felt the pain from every stone as it bit into my skin.

I thought I woke up, but there was a man in my bed and he was trying to rape me. I couldn't yell or scream. I feel like I fought him off for at least five minutes or so. It was very realistic. When I finally woke my sheets were all sweaty and twisted up.

I occasionally dream of looking up or out a window and seeing an unusual aircraft, like an advanced airplane, and it explodes or crashes (far enough away from me I am not in danger). It's always daytime, late morning or late afternoon (based on light and shadow angles). What could this be about?

Please can someone help me, I've been struggling with nightmares for about 8 months, mainly to do with the past, ex boyfriends and my dad are usually involved in houses i used to live in. Lately the nightmares have been getting worse and worse, including dealing with death. In all cases I'm in the middle of a horrible or uncomfortable situation. The other night I had to hide my ex boyfriends dead body under tarpaullin incase anyone found it.


I thought I've dealt with the past but there's something I haven't dealt with and it's affecting my daily life as I'm not getting enough sleep and keep waking up about 3 times a night in horror every night.

Can anyone help ? Ive been to see a hypnotherapist and said i wanted help with past issues at childhood but she said, "I dont need with the past only the future" and proceeded to tell me to imagine myself in a time line ahead of today. So I'm back to square one. I can't imagine going to a doctor and saying I need help with nightmares. No one is taking me seriously but its starting to affect my health.

2 very recent (the last 2 nights) dreams stand out to me as they may have links to the important goal I have of re-establishing a natural communication with the other side.

The first such dream I was wandering around outside of a manor at night. It is well lit outside from lamp posts (which is a welcome change as most dreams I have are very dimly lit and hard to see in) and a young woman runs up to me. She doesn't say much and seems comfortable when I confront her instead of scared as I thought she would be. She is very filthy, covered in blood and dirt wearing torn clothes but seems in good health otherwise.
When I ask where she came from she said she escaped from a hospital. When I thought of this hospital It appeared more as a sinister laboratory and prison.
I go inside the manor to try to find something for her, I forget what, maybe it was food. When I try to go back outside I stop, there are flashing lights everywhere as if from police cars or ambulances. I stay inside feeling stupid for not bringing her in and keeping an eye on her.

In this second dream I have nothing is physical, the entire setting of the dream is in an intangible zone and the more powerful an entity the more form or presence it seems to have.
I'm watching an army of holy warriors of some sort trying to dive back demons. They struggle alone and would stubbornly prefer to but are assisted against their will by an elemental salamander and my own (what I sometimes refer to as) spirit guide (who I'm constantly trying to contact).
They both seem to be in charge of their own forces with the salamander of course bringing fiery beings like dragons and phoenixes to the fight, they have a red aura.
My own guide/angel person's forces seem more varied and have a magic, nature and Norse theme, they are in a white and green aura.
The demons are backed in to a corner to take a defensive position, or maybe pocket would be a better word. Even though there are no physical barriers there are boundaries of sorts. An even better word might be portal, as I have no idea how large the other side of the pocket is. I don't get to witness what is sure to be a glorious battle as I finally realize who that is in charge of the green forces. Until now I had been as an observer, an audience, but as I try to reach out to her I am no longer there, and when I regain my bearings I'm in a more familiar setting like everyday life. I try to contact her by calling her by various names or titles I've associated with her at first and then by deeply willing to communicate with her, I fell down, no luck and then I'm awake.

Mel, I would ask my Dream Manager for help with this. As you're lying in bed getting ready to drift off for a nice sleep, ask: "Dream Manager, would you please send me a dream that will clearly indicate the learnings these dreams are trying to get through my thick skull, and to consciously remember them?"

And look at each aspect of the dream as an aspect of yourself: what part of my consciousness am I hiding under a tarp? etc...

Nightmares are only dreams which hold messages which you've been too dense or unwilling to get in sweeter dreams. It's a good thing. Your unconscious mind is totally committed to you getting the learnings you most need, and it will stop at nothing to get through to you!

Last night I dreamt I was in my old house in Connecticut (I live in New Hampshire now and am actually moving back to CT, but not back to that house). In my house my family was trying to catch a mother crow and her baby who had gotten into the house somehow. My sister told me "use your gifted hands to release the crow" so I extended a finger to the baby crow and it hopped on, grasping my finger with its little feet. The mother flew onto my shoulder and I walked them outside and let them go, but the baby crow was very upset that I had let it go, it wanted to stay inside the house with me.

I think I already know what the dream means, that I'm afraid to use my naturally gifted hands to propel me forward in life, whether it be as a physical therapist, artist or some other kind of healer. The baby crow is my inner child afraid to grow up and let go of old hurt (there's alot of pain I experienced in that house growing up). I also feel that there's unfinished business within my psyche that I need to attend to before I can move on. Though I already have a good idea of what the dream meant, I would very much like an outside and objective opinion. Oh and one more detail I almost overlooked. The house looked as it did when I was a child, we had rearranged furniture often since my mom and dad divorced when I was eleven, so it seems a part of me is stuck at a young age before my parents split. Don't know what this means.

I have had this dream quite a few times. I am with other women who were chosen and we were put somewhere where I help all of them from being hurt, beaten or killed; they nickname me "angel". I was beaten badly and even operated on while awake. Then I was put onto a cross with a thorn crown and whipped and nailed to a cross. I lived. When it is all over our families are waiting for us to come back I am in a crowd of people, can barely walk had no pain killers or anything and had to cross something like a finish line (with only my two kids waiting my husband not there) and my time was running out; I only had a certain amount of time to do this. Then the sky became bright and I was over come by a white light, my arms were out to my side like I was still on the cross and everyone began kneeling and praying. As I was overcome by the light, I was healed. It was actually beautiful. Also, when they were nailing me to the cross, the people commented on how I didn't care because I said "I was honored to be put to the cross like; and if I had to, die this way".

OK, this isn't quite my dream, but a dream my fiance recently had that I've been trying to help her figure out.

She went to this event where people could pray over others. They have it every other week on campus here. In the dream, she was being prayed over. Then some other girl from another group, whom she didn't know, ran over and said that she was possessed, and had to be anointed with this special "seal" (which was basically oil). They put it on her forehead, her hands, and in her hair. She felt like she wanted to scream (as if she were possessed), but held back. They told her that she was doing things in her relationship (with me) that she shouldn't be doing, and that there were aspects of the relationship that weren't good. In the dream, I guess she was surprised at what they were saying, and didn't really agree.

I've been trying to help her figure it out, because it shook her up quite a bit. Even though she used to be a lot stricter, she is a lot more open now and doesn't think that anything we are doing is wrong. She doesn't think she has a guilty conscience or anything.

Last night i had a dream i was playing one of my favorite video games? What does this mean?

Got a strange one for you.

Last night, I had this dream where I was essentially me but I had an interesting conversation with my father. He told me that he was a dragon, I was one and so were all the men of our family going back as far as time itself. Then he told me that in order to come to maturity and unseal myself I was going to have to kill him as he had killed his own father (note, my Grandad's still around but I imagine he was dead in the dream).

Anyway, I refused. Of course I didn't want to kill my father. This disappointed him and he said I would never come into my own without first striking him down. Anyway, the dream eases off and resumes years later, maybe about ten years into the future. My father had grown old and infirm very quickly and I still had not killed him.

I was conflicted because I knew that if he died of natural causes I would not be able to ever come into my own. So I killed him. I got a bowl, put three eggs in it and worked some strange kind of voodoo that did him in.

The thing is, I did it at the exact moment he died naturally. This left me at a frustrating half-realized state between my potential and mundanity that made me feel I had disappointed both of us. Him because I would now never truly carry on the legacy and myself because I had compromised my morals. And what for?



If I was to read this dream myself, I'd chalk it up to a conversation about University I had with my roommate yesterday, a general frustration with the world and my generation, and how I often feel I could be doing more with my life.

Still, if anyone has anything to add, I'm interested.

What is it that limits you, the root cause of which stretches back for generations? Is it an unconscious belief, tradition, family trait, or grudge? What is it that held your father back that is there for you to deliberately "kill off" or, if you don't, will die out on its own when you die (or be passed on to your son)?

Interesting that you see it that way. I feel that what limits me are my morals and general cowardice. I'm a very extreme sort of person, capable of very rapid and thorough adaptations so I suppose I've always felt a kind of anxiety about just how far I might go. I'm also just about devoid of regret or remorse so I don't even have that to keep me in check. If you further throw in things like the Law of Attraction, I've had some profoundly strange results which I would feel were against conventional ethics if caused deliberately (example, if an ATM gives me some extra money I don't mind it just happening but "magic"-ing an ATM into it would be theft).

However, I interpret the dragon thing differently. You see, I think my grandfather has had a richer, more fulfilling life than my father who's had a more fulfilling life than me (in reality). I imagine this stretches back generations to, at some point, greatness (at least in the dream). Possibly relevant is to mention that my paternal ancestry has some potential ties to some old Italian royalty I've never really looked into but that might not be here nor there.

Either you have a very radical style of interpretation or I'm not expressing myself well. I think it has more to do with somehow doing more with my life than my family itself.

This is going to sound messed up but I think in the dream the proper thing to do would have been to kill him. Violently, in graphic single combat. I think that here patricide is representative of something really horrible that no one should ever have to do. Yet it was what I had to do to carry on the legacy and come to terms with what I really was. The other "correct" choice would have been to wash my hands of it altogether. Simply ignore what I was and die as an ordinary man. That would have been the end of the legacy but all things do come to an end. My father would have been disappointed but it would still be a respectable choice. The thing is, I took a third option. An easy coward's option. Kill him on his deathbed without even looking him in the eye. This was a terrible choice. I wanted the power and the legacy but I didn't want to have to earn it. I wanted to be a dragon without having to become one. I wanted to attain greatness by treacherously murdering a frail old man rather than fighting a dragon in all its wrath and glory.

In the end I made the choice to attain greatness with no sacrifice. I tried to take what wasn't mine and instead of continuing or ending a legacy I perverted it. Someone who kills a defenseless old man can never be great or moral. You could say I betrayed both my father and myself instead of simply picking one or the other. Or you could say my greed and insecurity betrayed both of us.

Either way it was a pretty interesting dream and I'm trying to glean what I can from it.

I have been having this dream for quite some time now...5 or more years.

The dreams may be different..ie settings, past, future,(never present) only once were my current husband and kids with me...but the core of the dream is always the same. My ex-husband who was taken away for a very long time (again diffrent reasons job, military, just left) reconnects and we just talk, cry and reconnect on a deep level. I always "feel" in the life what I was feeling in the dream, and usually wake up feeling comfort. I am just wondering what some of you think why I have these dreams and keep having them.

I'm going to cut an extremely long dream down to as few points as I can.

I was spending a lot of time navigating around a cruise ship, running from people, until eventually wandering around some sort of holiday destination after leaving the docked ship.

There came a point where I was arguing intensely with my mother. I can't remember the argument too well, but points and facts were being ignored, so I was getting very angry. An old friend of my mother's was there and started to join the argument, defending my mother as she verbally attacked me. My anger grew stronger and it became very stressful.

I tried to explain something about love and hate and gave examples in their own lives where they would become upset with somebody and, in some sense, hate them for a little while.

Later, in another room, I pushed my mother and she fell, hit her head and became unconscious. Paramedics came and I was told that she had a 75% chance of coming out of that state, but would otherwise die. I started to freak out over the numbers, shocked and worried that there wasn't a 100% chance she'd be ok.

I was talking to relatives in another room, not sure how to explain it. For some reason, I had brought down this very tiny animal in my palm. It was like a wolf or another similar animal, but quite literally the size of a toy. It then bit my finger as I almost dropped it, but it was something I laughed about.

I was wandering around the holiday area. There was a hospital area nearby where my mom had been taken. She was in some sort of coma and I was thinking about how I should visit and play her favourite records, read her favourite books, etc, in a hope it'd help her come through and she'd appreciate me using these things she likes to help her.

I had somebody guiding me around the area to take me to the hospital section. On the way, I passed a hotel area where I was apparently staying with a cousin (I am visiting that cousin today to stay with him for the weekend). He was with another cousin and they passed me. I told him I'd talk to him later (I was supposed to contact him).

I didn't manage to get to the hotel, but did find time skip to me inside the hotel room with my cousin and I explained the situation.

I eventually left and went to a school section of the area, where I sat down in a pig mask, hiding my identity, passing as a new student. I think I had problems with things that had happened and myself, thus shielding myself away. It was a big classroom with a hell of a lot of students and I managed to make them all laugh. However, I noticed a student nearby was watching, trying to figure out my identity through what he could see (i.e. my teeth if I opened my mouth).

I decided to plan something with this girl nearby, apparently a friend (I woke up trying to remember if this girl was my ex, because I think it could have been, but I can't remember for sure). Anyway, we head outside and she puts on this costume that makes her look like she is pregnant. I then climbed inside the stomach part of the costume and the plan was to come out like a baby, surprise everybody, make them laugh and reveal my identity.

As we waited to go ahead with this in class, she was worrying that this would affect our exam grades with the tutor being unhappy with our joke. He then says some numbers (results) from our own exams (30's or something) and they're equal to a pass, so she says something to be able to keep at least her own grade. Nevertheless, she then gives 'birth' (lol), I jump out and everybody laughs and cheers. I run around the class, giving lots of high-fives to the students. I think I was still wearing the pig mask, though.

I couldn't remember much more.

Anything to think about there?

What does it mean to dream of a deceased family member and they talk to you? My father talked to me in my dream and it was his voice, it felt so real. Is it him really talking or is it me dreaming it because I miss him?

I am not sure if this is the place to post but I would like to know why this happened and what it means. I dreampt about a certain student of mine who I do not know very well doing a specific mundane activity and I woke up with a very vivid recall of it and what happened. I recalled the dream to him and he said that this had actually happened the week I dreampt it. The details were incredible and would be so hard to write off as a weird coincidence. He is now saying I am psychic? Does this mean something and why would I dream about him, when I know so little about him.???????

I have the same images appear in my dreams lately -- almost every night:

1. My dog, and other dogs. She pops up everywhere. I'm often trying to catch her and get her on her leash.

2. Dancing. Slow dancing, fast dancing, silly dancing.

3. Africa/African Americans. For the past two weeks: In one, I dreamed about attending an African cultural festival. Usually, though, I'm hanging out at my house (sometimes theirs) with Oprah one night, Michele and Barack the next, last night it was basketball player Lamar Odom. Usually someone famous, but often real friends of mine. Always a social gathering. (I'm caucasion, by the way.)

OMGOMG ok so I had a REALLY frikkin weird dream a couple weeks ago and it's been bugging the hell out of me ever since.

I had a dream that I was back in Highschool but for some reason, I was in France.. I was sitting in class on my first day and the teacher was giving a lecture. For some reason I was ruffling through my papers looking for the right notes for the lecture - apparently disrupting the classroom and this beautiful french girl gave me a hug to stop me from making more noise with my papers.. she simply told me to stop. Apparently in my dream, French people were offended when a Foreign student disrupts the class with paper noise.. But it's weird cuz this hug REALLY moved me. I really can't describe it.

I've never had a dream like that.. I normally never remember my dreams and I never have an emotional response to them. I'll probably remember this dream for years. What's crazy was that it was a REALLY stupid dream.

Any professional dream interpreters lurking around the forums today? could really use some input... this is actually bugging the hell out of me.

It's like that dream I had when I was 6 right after watching them Goonies.. I woke up expecting the treasure to still be in my toy chest located in my closet.. but it wasn't there!! =( I still remember it to this day.

It gets incredibly strange as I posted this exact thread on an Opiate Recovery forum looking for some advice. Immediately after posting, I went to my Forum Profile to discover that a girl named frenchyo was one of three recent visitors to my page. I visited her profile and went to a a thread of hers that was something about her boyfriend being a recovering heroin addict. I was like, OMG! So am I! AND she's a female. But what makes things even more weird, is that after every post she made she did a "hugs to you" type of gesture to whoever she was talking to.

This freaked the hell out of me. I had never been to any of her threads before, and she had never posted on mine. The only thing I can think of is maybe I subconsciously saw her the night before as someone who had viewed my page. But how could I have known it was a girl, and that she had a boyfriend addicted to h, and that she liked to give out hugs?

I swear on the graves of everyone I lost to H that I am not making this up. It's a true story and I still remember the dream VIVIDLY.

So wtf this girl put a spell on me or what?

I tried to google if spells were real, and came across a yahoo answers page. Nobody even bm'd the person for asking a stupid question. Just a bunch of crap like, "yes, but be very careful with whom you put a spell on as blah blah blah"..

And how do I send her a message back?

But most importantly cuz I'm fairly certain spells aren't real and this is HIGHLY coincidental, can anybody interpret this dream for me? It was emotionally moving and I never have dreams like that.

Fresh dream:
Some scenes, I was bitten by the snake and I can't seek any medical attention to the point I was about to die and freeze my mouth is watering and i can't move my body. Next scene, I have powers and I can fight anyone who blocks my way (that was good for me in this dream coz usually i always end up being beaten but not now I feel so powerful) I saved someone...Someone is chasing me in an endless staircase. Next scene: I was walking on the surface of a water with a leaf bridge, taking pictures with my camera...my mom threw it but i didn't catch it. It was submerged already in a murky water but I still got it effortlessly. I feel like floating and so much aware of anything I touch. I can find them in my mind.

Yesterday Dream:
Someone (a local celebrity) I don't like him and not a fan but don't know. Maybe some debris of my memory because I met him in a shooting( I was an extra). He became a barber and he cut my hair but I didn't like it. I'm so desperate to have a new haircut but was not satisfied. I woke up emotionally disturbed after that. I look in the mirror and I loved my hair back

Had a fantastic dream.

Normally i can make out meaning in my dreams, but this one doesn't make sense.


I dreamed walking at a northern European coastline, reminded me of England/Scotland. i walked a path downhill.

Then on my left i saw Stonehenge, then everything turned black and white, but not only black and white it was more exceptional, every thing turned up in contrast and was so bright. It was not in the normal vision range it was exceptional. The nature was more beautiful and surreal. I had such a great feeling, so peaceful and joyful, never had such a clear and beautiful feeling in waking life.

Strangely I had in twice in a row.
The b/w kept only few seconds, later i met old schoolfriends, that needed my help to walk up a hill.

Wow i really wish to have this time the same feelings in a dream.
