Default Lost and in desperate need of help

Hi, I am a newbie; I came across this website while searching for ways to recover lost items. I have misplaced my family's passports, birth certificates, marriage license, and social security cards (my children's and my own). I have always kept the items together and I last saw/touched them in August (I had to make copies of the children's birth certificates). I have always kept them in the same area, but I must not have put them away when I last made copies.

I am confident they are in the house and together, and I have tried everything--meditation, organized searching, pendulum, and dreaming of the lost items. I am in desperate need of some help. If anyone could offer any assistance, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Casirn

Default Lost harp necklace

Hello,

I stumbled across this thread on google and think it is wonderful that people have volunteered their skills to help others find lost items - I am much better at losing items than finding them.

On Saturday night, I lost a silver necklace with a charm in the shape of a celtic harp. I have been wearing the necklace for several years (and could post a picture if it would be helpful.) I took it off because I was wearing a high neck dress that the necklace would have clashed with. I then put it into an overnight bag. I never saw it enter the bag, but felt it in my hand in a pile of clothes I was putting into the bag. I zipped the bag shut, then went outside to get a few toiletries from my gym bag in the trunk of my car. I waited in the parking lot of my building a long time for a cab. I then put the bag in my boyfriend's car while we visited with friends at a few bars. Afterwards, we travelled in his car to his house, and I took the bag out of the car up to his room. The next morning as I was getting dressed, I noticed the necklace was not in the bag. I would really like to find it.

We have looked in my apartment, I searched the parking lot, my trunk, called the cab company, checked my boyfriend's car, and his room in his townhouse. My mom has a knack for finding lost things and she didn't provide any enlightenment when I called her to ask about it. Any idea where this necklace may be? I would love to find it. Thank you, I appreciate your help.

Yes, I do believe that it's in your home.
It could be where there is a smell of soap, among your bathroom things or in a waste paper basket perhaps, if there is some soap wrapping there or something.

Hi casirn

What I see here is that the documents are suspended, by a wall, inside of something like a bag or similar, the upper part is narrow as if it hangs on a knob, and then the sides are widening downwards.

So, in a room, suspended on the wall in a bag; unless there are some curtains or something that looks similar.

(I don't know how you made the copies, if this was done at another place, it's very easy to forget the originals when making copies.)

My boyfriend and I are still holding on to the hope that it might be somewhere at his house since his kitchen got ripped out and redone around the time it went missing, and we think it could have accidentally got packed up with everything else in there. We're waiting for it to be finished (the builders seem to have forgotten they need to finish it at the moment!!) and hoping it might turn up there. Do you think this is a possibility?

Default Thank you for the quick response

Slorri,

Thank you for the quick response regarding my items. I have a good feeling the items will be either in the room where I typically kept them or in the room where I made the copies. I had kept them in a bag next to a wall and although I have search both locations well, I will not give up hope. I am grateful for the assistance you offered me and any other suggestions.

This loss has been preoccupying my days; I am trying to stay focused on the positive image of finding them.

Hello everyone,
A couple of months ago I lost the Ace of Hearts from my deck of playing cards. I'm pretty sure it's somewhere in the house but haven't found it yet... I perceived losing it being a sign, since at that time I got so disappointed by the man I was in love with. Somehow I feel that If I find this card, things with him will get better... Any ideas?
Thank you!

Now the feeling I get is that it's at a place where the chairs are turned upside down on top of the tables, and the necklace is hung up against either a glass window or other even surface. Could be found and hung up like that.

I had a new flash-view here:
There's like a very even surface, if one look to the left, and above this, like above door height there is the light, it's like a light above a door, beneath the light and then to the right of the door is what could be a flower box.
I can't say for sure that the even surface was a door, it is dark there, it could be outside but close to the wall, there was a blue tint to the door but else it should have been white.

Now don't think me a fool, but this kind of view could also be inside a refrigerator, with the even surface, the light and the boxes with things in them.

I believe that the card has been put inside a book, like a bookmark perhaps.
There was shown an old man, in old style drawing, I thought he looked Chinese, but could have been biblical, so that could be hinting to the contents of the book.

Hi Slorri-

I am confident I never carried the bag inside a place where there would be chairs upside down. It was only outside (over the sidewalk), in the cab, in my apartment, in my boyfriend's car, and at my boyfriend's apartment. Do you have any additional information about this place with upside-down chairs? Was the necklace brought into this place by another person? Is it in someone else's possession? Could the upside-down chairs represent something else? I'm not sure how to use the information you have provided me. Thank you.

An update,
Mother has found her red plaid/tartan wallet today. It was on floor between the passenger seat and door in the car.

Cheerio,

Please go back to exact location where you were when you removed it. It is on the floor just under edge of furniture or cabinet. (if there are throw rugs, lift them and look neath edges) Good luck.

Default Lost Medication-Urgent can anyone help me find?

I misplaced my day reminder pill holder-it's a large clear pill box with the days of the week marked in blue separately on each lid. I also misplaced the three pill bottles that contained the medication-the bottles are dark blue with white lids and there are three of them. The pill day minder was full of all my medication for a week the pills were yellow, white, orange, and light blue. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it-let me know if you need more info-I have looked everywhere in my apartment and the garage attached....I lost them about 6 days ago.....thanks so much!

Hi "smiley"-

When i took it off I was standing near my bed in front of a full length mirror. I tossed the necklace on my bed (I could see it on the pile of clothes I was packing-at the time they were stacked on the bed.) I've taken the bed apart, pulled the mattress off the frame (it's an IKEA-type bed), went through all the bed linens to no avail. The overnight bag was in my living/dining room on top of a kitchen stool. I've traced the path from the bedroom to the kitchen stool several times. The stools (and bar height table) are on top of an area rug. I've also picked up the entire area rug to see if it was under there. Still nothing. I really appreciate your suggestion and do recognize the possibility that the necklace maybe never made it into the overnight bag (even though I felt it go in.) I hope I discover it somewhere in my apartment. Thanks so much!

And without any intuition involved, I wonder if your overnight bag has one of those flappy hard things in the bottom that it could have ended up underneath in the bag? Also trace your steps? At any point that night did you have to dig thru the bag in the trunk or in the car and maybe it came out and ended up in the car you had been in?

Did you have company or houseguests that you felt you had to "hide" it from? If so, is it possible you did so and forgot? (that you hid it?) Hopefully this will jog a memory. (top drawer?)

I had not posted on this, because as Slorri, I seen it is still in the same room where you had made copies. What I also picked up is that you put them in something else, that you felt better to hold them. (like moved them from a manila folder to a large envelope or like a school folder with pockets so nothing slides out? I am seeing them slide out of the folder and falling all over the floor, and it feels frustrating.) Hope this jogs a memory for ya.

My bag is lined with fabric, it doesn't have a hard thing at the bottom (I know what you are talking about.) I have turned the lining inside out looking for it. In terms of opening the bag elsewhere, I never unzipped it, or inverted it. The zip does not completely seal the top of the bag, there are some openings at the sides large enough for things like keys, cosmetics, and jewelry to slip through (this is how I put a few toiletries in there in my car.) I remember taking almost painstaking measures to keep the bag upright. We have checked my car and my boyfriend's car, and the cab company said they weren't able to find anything in the cab. I feel like I retraced my steps pretty thoroughly-I am still puzzled as to where it could have even possibly gone missing. Every scenario I can create in my mind seems incredibly unlikely, but I am running out of possible scenarios.

Default Lost Dog

So I had a dream about my sister's dog Nena. She has been missing for about 3 months now. Well in my dream I went up to a lady that had her in her apartment and told her that it was my sister's dog and to give her back. She was hesitant but then realized that it was my sisters dog. Is this a sign for me to go to my sister's apartments? I have a feeling that she is there somewhere. My sister has checked all other resources and nothing has came up. Im not giving up in the search of Nena. Please help Nena come home.

I add to this:

(This is what I said in the PM.)

I tried but I feel unsure about this.
First I saw something like narrow but long leaves in bends out from a center, like the leaves of a plant, but could also be something else thin and long bending like that.
Then what looked almost like the right front wheel and the fender of an old car, the "fender" was that round shape, like on them old pick-ups, but the "wheel" was more modern design.
I feel that the medicine is inside a home, but also inside a vehicle can give that same impression.

(And also from a friend of mine)

I see a man with tall narrow face who seems to have carried out the pills, he has relatively light hair and joint eyebrows. I also see a backpack and some bags, a letter box and some other stuff, she (you) might be travelling in her job.
I believe the man has stolen or moved the pills.

Default Suspicions confirmed!

Thank you Slorri and Smiley-I was pretty sure that one of the two people who had been in my home had taken the meds-I had asked both and they blame each other-nice guys! Thank you for confirming my intuition. I think I know exactly who took them and where they have put them-I will pay him a visit later today and search his old Chevy truck from bumper to bumper-he takes the same meds and was running out so this makes sense. I'll let you know what happens! Smiley you are picking up on where I keep the meds normally and where there are three other day minders and some bottles that are all empty-top drawer in my kitchen! Thanks so much for your help-I really appreciate it!

Hey Slorri thank you so much! Still can't find my card. It's quite possible I misplaced it inside a book, although I've been using this deck only for divination. The old man you saw, that must mean something else

Every scenario I can create in my mind seems incredibly unlikely, but I am running out of possible scenarios.
with all due respect, cab drivers don't make that much money and not likely to return jewelry they find in their car at the end of a shift.

Is this a sign for me to go to my sister's apartments? I have a feeling that she is there somewhere. My sister has checked all other resources and nothing has came up. Im not giving up in the search of Nena. Please help Nena come home.
Can anyone please look into this...nena is really missed!

And I ask again. What have you done so far in searching? News ads? flyers? door knocking?

I would really like to know what effort you have put in, aside from asking someone with gifts to seek for you. It helps to know what you have done so far in your seeking.

I have made flyers for my sister. She put them up in her apartment complex. Looked on the internet for the shelters around. Posted pictures on the shelters lost dogs page. Put pictures of Nena on my face book and my sister did as well. My sisters went and knocked on peoples doors in her apartment complex. We checked ask resources and we still have not found her.don't know what else we can do. Is it a lost cause? I don't want to give up on Nena. Any info would be really appreciated.

In my heart I feel that you will not have Nena back. I do feel in my heart tho, that this dog has a great new home. (where the new people are already very attached). I do feel a lost n found ad in the local paper may get you closer to at least knowing what happened to her. (that is, if the people who have her now have not stopped looking for it).
