Lost Items

Hello Im new to this forum but I would really appreciate some help. I have a silver chain bracelet with a heart pendant on that my boyfriend gave me a few years ago.

I went out with it in the top pocket of my coat on sunday so I know for sure that I had it in the house on sunday. I then took the coat (with or without the bracelet in im not sure) to work where it stayed in my car all day until I finished work and drove home. On tuesday i didnt wear the coat at all, it stayed in my room. Wednesday I went shopping with a friend but I cant remember whether the bracelet was in my pocket or not, if it was it couldnt have fallen out without me or him noticing. I first noticed it wasnt in my pocket on thursday evening. I have searched my car, bedroom, rang up the shops i visited and theres no sign of it. Im really upset as it was the first gift he ever bought me.

Can anyone please help me find it?

I found the retainers. They were under my bed. It was ironic because that SAME day, I bought new retainers..... Now I lost my french book. I never take it out of my backpack only during french class. I don't remember where I put it.I might have taken it out in french class and left it there....or taken it out here for no reason. But its no where to be found!!!!!!
i promised myself to be more careful...but I can't help but to lose things..

This is my first time on this wonderful forum. I am a 62 year old intelligent well educated woman who is about to lose her mind over lost rings. I am very open minded but cautious about things I do not understand and I do believe in the paranormal and find it fascinating.

I am in a real dilemna. In November 2008 when packing for our yearly Bahamian time share two week vacation on the day before we left I decided to 'hide' my deceased Mother's wedding rings, her very valuable dinner ring and a fancy dinner ring I bought made of very high grade artificial diamonds. I have not hidden anything of value when traveling for over 25 years but for some reason decided to do it this time with these select items. I used to hide rings among the towels in the linen closet but not this time. I did one heck of a job of hiding the rings as I cannot find them. All I remember is saying to myself "no one will ever find them here". Well.....thats the truth as I cannot. I have spent the last few months on a methodical search beginning in the bedroom where I packed and nothing yet. Its driving me crazy as you can imagine. By the way I was sober and lucid when packing! I do tend to have a very busy 'brain' but not at all scatterbrained . I even thought about hypnosis but as a Psych major in college an expert tried and I could not 'clear' my busy mind to let any suggestions in.

I have looked in every container, every pair of socks, underwear, box,etc to no avail in the bedroom. Took out every towel/sheet and then moved on to the other two bedrooms...nothing! Looked in all vases, glasses, bowls,etc in the downstairs too and there is hardly any place left to look. Checked pockets of every coat, jacket, pants and in every shoe and purse . At first I was somewhat content with the knowledge that the rings ARE IN THE HOUSE but now that I have searched for so long I am really getting worried that I may never find them.


I am really seriously distressed over this at this point in time and decided to ask you this forum for advice as to how to proceed. I have not dreamed about the rings and have tried to sit down quietly and 'imagine' where they could be but I draw a complete blank. Traced where I retrieved articles for vacation in various rooms but nothing helps. This house is not small and cluttered with all sorts of geegaws and antiques and collectibles so its a real hunting process but like I said I am running out of places to look.

I kept thinking the location of the rings would 'come to me' over time in some kind of epiphany but its been 4 months and its time to consult.

Thanks for the hint. Had not looked there and I have lots of tea storage things. No luck but I will gladly look anywhere that anyone comes up with. I did pack tea bags for vacation so that wourld have been a great place to hide them. I got a bit excited over that prospect so thanks...you stirred me up in a good way.

It could also be something connected to tea, like a tea pot etc.

I really appreciate your help. Just checked all my teapots and creamers/sugars and cups that belong to tea sets. Nothing. Keep your mind rolling...I will look at anything you suggest. I still cannot believe I hid them that well.

Hmm.. tea could translate into something with leaves, a plant or something with painted leaves on, etc.

I got home from work Sunday March 1 2009. I separated my rent owed and was left with $153. I was meeting someone at a casino and didn't want to lose the money, so I left it at home. Now I can't find it. Where I put it, I have no idea what-so-ever I have looked in many places, some places several times. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! How about "Iced Tea" Could you have possibly stashed them into a box of fish stick or something in the freezer? Ice came to mind, for me.

Could you have put it in the glove box of the car for lack of a better place to temporarily put it? Check there, just in case. (or perhaps in the console) Good luck.

Thanks for idea. One thing I do not do is put none food items in the freezer. Its one place thieves know to look like the old under the mattress trick...NOT. I know that freezing jewelry in ice trays is an old trick. I don't even have ice trays anymore. I never hide anything so thats why this is so disturbing. When I misplace something I find it accidentally or it 'comes to me' all of a sudden within a short time. Its been so long since I 'hid' the rings.

Well, it is not a very accurate "science" It could be any kind of leaves or images of leaves. Another thing came to mind, maybe you put them between cotton balls, tissues or something like that.

Can anyone help me locate my missing/lost 4 gb flash(thumb) usb thumb drive? It's a san disk cruzer drive and it was black. please..I used my usb flash drive about a week or so ago. The last time, I saw the drive was in my automobile. I think, I move it somewhere else? Would appreciate your help

I've had a bad year and now I've lost my Cellphone. I also lost my keys sometime last year. I suffer from some mental illnesses and lost my job in Sept.

I'm starting to think that I'm hiding items as part of my illness and it's keeping me up at night worried about what is going to turn up missing next.

If possible can someone help me locate my Keys and my cellphone??

And if there is someone up for a challenge..my father died when I was 12...he gave me a watch before he died and I lost it...I'm 36 now...would love to have that watch back.

I have lost a ring that I received from my boyfriend as a first christmas present and wondered if anyone could please help me locate it.

The last place I believe it was was in my bedroom next to my tv but it is now knowhere to be seen.

I have hunted high and low in my bedroom and still cant find it.

Please someone help me as its very precious to me and im quite upset ive misplaced it .

This is my first post on this forum. Usually things go missing in my house, or around me, and i just put it down to the spirit of my younger brother getting up to some mischief. But recently, i have lost two things very important to me. One of them was my wallet, and the other was a Heart Necklace that my girlfriend gave to me on valentines. The wallet and what lies within could be replaced easily, so i dont mind if i never find it. But the necklace is extremely important to me. I remember putting it somewhere safe, because i was worried i would snap the flimsy little chain on it, but i havent been able to find it. Ive turned the house upside down and ripped it to shreds looking for these items, and losing the necklace has made me quite depressed. I have tried remembering, asking josh to give the items back, ive even tried praying to St Anthony. This necklace means the world to me, can you please help me?

Hi all, I have just joined this site and don't really know how everything works. If anyone could help me out I would be ever so grateful.

In the last couple of weeks I lost my really precious silver bracelet with a pink heart on it, given to me as a reminder of love people feel for me after a difficult stage in my life. It gave me so much strength and really do feel lost without it. I took it off whilst typing up an assignment as the computer got hot and was burning me. I haven't seen it since. I've turned my bedroom upside down and can't find it anywhere. Please please help if you can. I really don't think it is too far away, or at least I hope not.

Some time ago I lost an important paper that is needed where I live (in this country, I mean) if you want to have a job. I wasn't really worried because I was/still am self-employed. But even with all that Steve says, now that I finished my master's degree, I dream of a teaching/researching job, so I really need my papers. I also lost my blood-donor card with that.
The job paper is like a dark blue booklet, a little bigger tha a card. I'm pretty sure it's inside the house, because I don't take important papers out of the house unnecessarily.
If anyone of you gifted people could try to "find" it remotely and tell where it is/might be, please help me!

2 days ago I misplaced/lost my wedding band. I take it off to go to the gym and to play sport. I noticed in the afternoon (after gym) that I was no longer wearing it. I cant recall if I put it back on, was I wearing it all day...etc...
