I know this sounds kind of lame, but I lost the top of my retainers. I have the bottom, but how could the top go missing all of a sudden? I remember straightening my hair and then I took them off. I can't remember anything after that. I really need my retainers because I don't want my parents to have to get me another pair since they payed 3 thousand dollars to get braces and 200 dollars for retainers! I'm sure i searched every where! Please help! |

Hi, wonderful google has led me here after I've been trying EVERYTHING to find my usb drive. It had a lot of my college work on it and I'm going to be very behind trying to replace all the work on it that wasn't backed up, I've already had to miss a lunch time to redo assignments. My sister wanted to borrow it Monday morning for college while I was at a friends house, she and my mother say that she realised she forgot it once she got in the car so I've been assuming she took it out of the computer where I left it and put it somewhere, she doesn't know and gets very cranky when I push the subject as she has already looked too. It was small rectangular and made of shiny metal,I referred to it as "Mr Shiney" the brand was integral, which was written on the side in grey letters. I had a thin black ribbon tied to the loop at the end. I have the lid to it and the little leather case it is stored in. I've never searched for anything as thoroughly as I have searched for this and I going to make 15 backups if I find it... any help at all is VERY much appreciated. |

I have the feeling the retainer fell into a drawer and is caught up in fabric - try your undie drawer first. USB drive - has your sister checked all of her pockets - clothing and bags? I picture it going into a pocket, is there a chance it fell out in the car, maybe down the seat? Also check down the back of seats she may have sat in while in the house. |

Hopeless When I read your message about your lost SD memory card, I immediately saw a dusty area - it brought to mind the area behind my husband's computer tower an area that gets very dusty because I rarely can get in the room to vacuum. To everyone who leaves a question about lost items on this thread, sometimes I get impressions when reading messages sometimes not, it would be the same with others who read the questions. Please leave feedback about our replies, we'd love to find out if we had a hit or miss. Even if it's ages afterwards. I told my daughter's friend where a lost item of hers was, told her it was at the back of a low drawer. She told me that she had looked in all her drawers. About a year later she was packing to move and was pulling things out of the drawer - the item was right where I said it would be, but it was under another item. She was shocked. |

Hi,about my usb stick- we had my sister check all her pockets and I've checked the pockets of anything she's left around. Also both me and my mother checked the car, I've obsessively checked down sides of chairs. I've even checked her room in case she was secretly keeping it...

My retainer was dark blue and that is all I can say. I don't know if I could have taken them to school and maybe dropped one of them when I tied my sweater around my waist. It is rare that I take my retainers to school. I just wait till I get home and put them on at night.

Thank you for responding to my post. You have given me renewed hope for finding my SD card. Based on your posting, I’m thinking it must be in my apartment since you mentioned “a dusty area”. I live on a very busy street which means I have a lot to dust bunnies that are the size of tumble weeds. I like to think my place is pretty clean, but the dust tends to collect around my larger furniture pieces. Anyway, after reading your post I immediately jumped up and started moving furniture around looking for it. I did find the case I thought it might be in, so you have been helpful so far. Also, I’ve been cleaning the dust as I go. My place hasn’t been this clean in a long time. :-) I really appreciate your help and will definitely post an update should I find it. In the meantime please let me know if you get any more impressions. Thanks again, Not So (Hopeless) Anymore

You may think this is odd, but this has always worked for me. First, "pray" to St. Anthony! I am not Catholic by any stretch of the imagination, but saying the prayer "St. Anthony, St. Anthony, please look around, something has been lost that must be found!" usually works. Just think of St. Anthony as a friendly spirit in another dimension that can help you. Just like how you ask a human librarian to help you find a book, you can ask a spirit who is considered a saint in a religion to help you find lost things you can't find. Also, imagine that feeling when you just found the item that is lost -- that feeling of excitement exploding in your chest [no, not a heart attack]. Just imagine that all the time, that "I FOUND IT!" feeling -- you can also practice your IM by doing this. It's easy and always works! |

Hi Beloved, If you have the time would mind trying to find my stainless steel watch? It was a Christmas present from my boyfriend and has significant sentimental value. The last time I had it was before I went to the gym. I am pretty sure I took it off in my apartment but I was in a hurry and might have put it in my coat and it fell out. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, bm07 |

sorry I can't be of any help at the moment. Right now we are struggling through heat wave conditions and it's only going to get worse, it's making me cranky and emotional. To top it off, I can't find the belt we ordered for the washing machine, I know I pinned it to the noticeboard in my husband's computer room to wait for the washing machine to throw the old belt again. Well today was the day and the belt is nowhere to be found. |

Hi Beloved, This is crucial... I lost my hearing aid about a month ago. It is small, with a behind-the-ear device. It was sitting on my shelf and the next day I found one there, but the other mysteriously gone. I'm afraid that I knocked it off the shelf into the garbage or onto a plate of food, and it somehow ended up in the dump... because I cannot find it anywhere in the vicinity. Please help if you can, I need to know of its whereabouts, whether it is good news or not Thank you! |

Try visualising holding it in your hand to see if it helps with it's return.

Hi there, I've been reading this thread with much interest..... last night my father realised that he can't find my mother's engagament ring which she had entrusted to him 9 days ago in the hospital just before she had a mastectomy. She is starting to feel better and has asked him for the ring and all he can remember is that he thinks (though is not 100% certain) that he put it in the pocket of his jacket. It is not there now and has not fallen into the lining through a hole. My father is in a real state about it and has not managed to tell my mother the truth as he doesn't want to upset her. If anyone gets a sense of where it could be we would be extremely grateful. It is a gold ring bought 32 years ago with a small diamond surrounded by small sapphires in a circular setting. Many many thanks.

Dear Beloved... Can you please tell me if something is in your mind about my ring?? it has sentimental value as it is connected with my baby girls birth... A gift from my HUSBY ... I beleive it's somewhere in the house as I rarely take it off my hand. I searched every corner of my house but still nothing.. I tried almost everything even using pendulum but seems I am already stressed enough to get an answer as to where it could be. The ring is like a watch chain link stainless steel and gold with a golden heart to be serving as aglass case for a small floating diamond made by chopard jewellery .... I did the numerology thing twice... once it said that a person very close to me will return it (either a very old person or a very young child) and the second time i did numerology it said that the ring should be somewhere in arts/crafts stuff as i lost it while I was enjoying my time with kids... I suspect my son who is nearly four to have hidden it somewhere but still I don't know.. what would be your idea?? Many thanks in advance... |

I lost an engagement ring too, a gold band with a 1 ct. blue topaz. It was with my wedding band on the sink counter, then next thing I knew the wedding band was on the bathroom floor and the engagement ring was missing. Well, it's not that important to me to find it, but if someone reads this and gets a hunch, I'd love to see if you're right! |

Hello, I hope someone can help me, I've lost my nan's engagement ring. It is of paramount sentimental value to me as i've worn it ever since she died in 2002. I'm absolutely devastated, especially as I actually realised it was well and trully lost on my birthday (of all days!). I can't bear to look back at my 24th and think of it as the day i realised i may never see the ring again I'm worried that it may have fallen into a rubbish bin, as the last time I remember having/wearing the ring was when my boyfriend and I had a quick tidy-up on Thursday evening and emptied the bin. If anybody could assure me that that isn't likely I would tremendously relieved and grateful. Many thanks |

Never really tried this kind of thing before, but what have I got to lose eh! Have lost my iPod and have still not found it despite searching my room several times a day! It is a black 5th generation 30gb video one, with a rubber protective skin case thing. I'm 90% sure that the last place I saw it was on saturday morning when it was lying on my bed. Can now not find it anywhere! Tried a numerology thing that told me it was in something soft..so proceeded to check drawers and pockets etc, but no luck there. Any help would be appreciated, seems I've become a bit too over-dependant on the thing to help get me through the day! |

I don't think I am of much help at the moment, I don't seem to be able to get fixes on anything, hopefully someone else might have a go. Have been suffering from insomnia lately which doesn't help with anything. Sometimes I just can't connect with people. As I am typing I do get the words washing machine, I think someone's lost item is there, that or I am reminding myself I have clothes in the machine - too tired to work out which. |
