Default The Astral Plane and Thoughtforms

This is a pretty straightforward question. Has anyone had any experience with or heard/read mention of non-conscious tulpas? Many of us have heard of the archetypal servitors and companions, regarding the subject.

Almost universally included in the definition is the word "object", however, all discussions of them seem to focus on those with their own autonomy or personal mobility and agency. To be honest, I think that since the concept has been imported into western culture, people seem mostly fascinated by the sentient possibilities or aspects.

When using your astral body, manifesting weapons is certainly not unheard of. I'm curious if the same process cannot be used to manifest an object to perform specific roles or functions (these objects would be emblems, mostly devoid of a consciously designed structure; after all, most wouldn't want to fabricate an astral object according to schematics). Is there a fundamental drawback in channeling energy into something not autonomous?

(Afterthought: To backtrack and apply the same statement for inanimate thoughtforms to conscious ones would be to say that manifesting a "living" tulpa would include it being largely devoid of a planned internal anatomy. This seems reasonable, right?

I think all or most of us create thought forms . I would be very carefull creating any thing ingeltent . Look at Victor Frainstine , or the cylons from battle star glatica , true there fiction , but they came back to get there creator. I have not herd of a tulpa , you discribe it as a thought form , energy only no concious (sory I am a bad speller) desert rat

A thoughtform is a construct generated by one's mind, pretty much a transliteration of the Tibetan word for the Upaya concept. I'm asking for a version that is energy devoid of consciousness. You sound like you are under the impression that tulpas are by definition mindless, which I assure you this is not necessarily the case.

Recommendations abound that willful, defiant tulpas should be destroyed. Of course, your alignment could permit letting that kind of element loose upon the world, in which case you may not care to destroy it.

I hate to come off as whiny or otherwise petulant, but there really isn't anyone who is familiar with tulpas enough to speculate or wax philosophical/practical on non-conscious thoughtforms?

This is a matter of personal importance, otherwise I would not have double posted. Am I going to have to blaze my own trail on this?

desertrat, you're certainly trying to be helpful, aren't you?

There is no shortage of literature on thoughtforms out there. That's not the issue. I've been familiar with them for the better part of 6 years. I'm looking for discussion on advanced thoughtform theory and practice. And, to be honest, "tulpa" itself needn't be in the thread topic. It's almost a given that nomenclature-wise thoughtforms are tulpas.

Also, this topic is specifically about manifesting them during astral travel. That's why I included "The Astral Plane and..." Materializing one on this plane would require enormous effort so that it would be visible and interactive. I'm looking for a more efficient economy.

Thank you for the earnest help, but it is not addressing what I am asking for. I didn't mention need of a how-to guide.

Alright, I've decided to start a log (as a separate topic) on my endeavors, once I start them. It will document my successes, failures, and little insights as I fine tune ideas and get my feet wet in the trenches.

To the readers that have been increasing the view count, thank you for your interest. I'm just interpreting this as no one being able to add anything because the subject was so specific and inter-disciplined. Either that, or my verbose tendencies uninspire people that would otherwise be talkative about this topic. I'm really hoping it is the former...

—but, I suppose I can't know for certain.
