Constellation on my Ceiling

Hi all, this morning I noticed a configuration of lights on my living room ceiling. I'm not sure what caused it (I had my drapes open and an open knit blanket on the couch?) but I took a few pictures because I got the feeling (6th sense) that it could be the configuration of a constellation.

When I got to work I did a little research and lo and behold it appears to quite close to the constellation Canis Major (Big Dog). This constellation happens to appear from 7/22 to 8/23. My birthday is 7/22.

I also read a few things about the "myth" of Canis Major as protector, very interesting as one of my mottos in life (even before my current heightened spiritual awareness) has always been that I am protected.

Has anyone seen or heard of anything like this before?

Why do you need further confirmation? Do you feel threatened in some way? It sounds to me like your 6th sense is working just fine.

I post my experiences to share with others who may be having the same experiences. I like to hear what others are experiencing as well.

The reason I asked if you felt threatened in some way is because of your strong focus on protection, or a desire for protection, and your wanting to make sure you interpreted the meaning of your experience correctly as if to confirm that you are, in fact, protected. I was going to go into physical protection vs. psychic vs. spiritual vs. emotional protection, why it seems so important to you, and how protected we all really are. But I didn't want to go into a deep philosophical/metaphysical discussion on the matter, since the idea of protection (and the need for it) is a sensitive subject with too many different interpretations. Suffice it to say, I find the treatment of the subject found in A Course in Miracles to be one of the best suited to my personal preference, but that's just me.

There's another thread here about people seeing lights. I see flashes of light, often when I'm deep in thought or I'm talking to people. I've never seen lights gather in one spot for more than a second or two - that one sounds rather unusual. You said you took pictures, did they show up?

Recently I have seen tiny points of light (green/blue) and flashes of light but just ignored them, lol. If that didn't get my attention, this sure did!

The last time I had a very significant sighting/vision I was walking into work and didn't take a pic (oh well...)

I have a camera phone but I take my digital camera EVERYWHERE these days...lol.

Yes I do think it was probably the sunlight coming through something. Although I never found it.

But it was the configuration of the lights that caught my attention. Somehow I immediately knew that it was not just a random set of dots which led me to take pictures and do the research to find out that it was the constellation Canis Major.

How it came to be isn't my concern, just the resulting pattern and what it could mean for me.

Even more odd, I have a tall bookshelf right by where the lights appeared on the ceiling. On one of the shelves I have a mini bust of Queen Nefertiti (given to me by an Egyptian).

A day or two after seeing the lights, I kept being drawn to the bust and wondering if there was some connection. Simply because, just the day before I saw the lights I used my recent Tachyon attunement (thanks KidKarma) to turn the bust into an 'all-round antenna'. FYI, this was not the only item that I turned into a tachyon antenna.

Again, I did the research and according to egyptian 'myth' Queen Nefertiti came from Sirius, the bright star, aka 'dog star', in Canis Major. Keep in mind, I know nothing about Egyptology, lol, it's not something I've ever researched or read about.

Still not sure what it means for me, that I should experience this, but I think it is significant. I trust that everything will be revealed in time.

And sometimes I think that the 'stories' we discover/create for ourselves aren't that important either. It's all just entertainment for our higher 'Self', lol. This is all an illusion (maya) anyway, hence the constellation on the ceiling...

Queen Nefertiti? I was simply entertaining the thought that I was a being from Sirius in another lifetime/dimension, lol.

Another theory is that my ego wants to redefine itself since a part of the awakening process is the shedding of the ego identity...

BTW, the plot thickens. Apparently there is a connection between Sirius (dog star) and the awakening of Christ consciousness in many of us right now.

Perhaps you have a relationship with the Sirians? I'm Pleidian, we work with the Sirians

Does the idea of your consciousness (not your physical form) being from Sirius resonate for you?

What resonates with me is my consciousness not being from here. Never feeling 'at home' in any place here, or truly, deeply connected to anyone, including family. It's like my family is some kind of substitute family and my soul family is somewhere else that I'm trying to get to. There is a definite longing that's never been satisfied by relationships I've formed here. I won't speculate about where I could be from, as I said, it will be revealed if this is the case.

BTW, I read a bit about Pleiades in my research. I think these recent responses are nudges to keep researching and reading. Thanks Rei

Hi, for the last week my husband and I have seen constellations on the ceiling of one of our bedrooms. He saw it first and tried to wake me up but I wouldn't budge. The next night while I was awake I turned off all the lights and I saw it. I have never had anything like this happen before and although I am not scared it does kind of unsettle me. We totally inspected the room for any kind of stuff being stuck to the ceiling as this is a rental house, but we have been here 4 years and this is the first time this has happened. It seems to come and go, what I mean by that is it gets brighter and then after awhile it disappears then comes back. I have even checked for bugs Now for the really unsettling part. About 25 years ago I had a loss of time that could not be accounted for. It was 10 at night I was going to watch the news had a glass of water an 3 cookies and sat on the couch. I heard a high frequency noise and it got louder and louder. Then it slowly went away, but the clock said 11:20 and I am still sitting holding the water and cookies, nothing spilt. Needless to say I was freaked. Since that night I hear that noise from time to time and I tell it to quit and it ceases immediately, but I am always alone. Last week prior to the constellation thing I heard that noise, but my husband was sitting there, and I told it to go away, he started saying I hear some weird noise and its filling my head. I never told him I hear the noise periodically so he had no idea what I was doing. I spent the next hour telling him the story. Then that night was the first night he saw the consellations and tried to wake me. Since that night I have hear the noise almost daily, he hasn't, but the consellations are there nightly. I am not one to freak out easily but really would like to know has anyone ever had any experiences like this? My husband is not as good with it as I am but then again I have been living with this weird stuff for a long time.

This is all incredibly interesting. I had an epic dream the other night about a constellation which I posted about recently.

Funny how other people are having constellation type experiences. My dream wasn't of a personal nature though, it felt like it was a glimpse of something that will happen to the whole world. It involved the constellation of Aquarius, which in retrospect must relate of course to the vernal equinox moving in to Aquarius to herald the dawn of the new astrological age.

I think being shown a constellation shouldn't be interpreted in an ego-centric way, but instead taken as a revelation of an impending astrological influence affecting a large population, given the vast and universal nature of it. Thanks for posting about it on here! It might be exactly what some people need to hear to make sense of things.

Having done some astrology research I've found that the name Sirius originated from the ancient Egyptians that named the bright star Sihor after their powerful dog-headed divinity Anubis. The Greeks renamed it later.

Back then, the Egyptians used to look forward to the time each year around July when the Sun would conjoin Sirius in the heavens which heralded the flooding of the Nile. During this period which would last about a month, the river Nile would flood Egypt, reviving and bringing new life to all of the surrounding parched land.

Interestingly, my dream emphasized the water being poured by Aquarius (the sign of the water bearer).

Given that you were strongly lead towards the Egyptians after receiving your apparition, it would seem to me that the Egyptian view of Sirius and its importance in regard to the flooding of the Nile is key, since that was so important to them and their livelihood.

Maybe it's a hint about the timing of things to come. Thanks for sharing

"It points to the time during the summer when abundance flows from the river".

Guizar, Im so happy you posted about your experience! Did you research which constellation it is? You may also want to take a pic if you're so inclined. I took a pic because I knew if I was going to discuss this on these boards people were going to want to see what I was going on about, hehe...

Lionman, yes, I also read your post about your dream. Extremely interesting! I've come a long way since that post, and I totally agree that it is not about 'me', but about the collective 'us' at this point. I also believe that this may not mean anything at all, that it's simply a 'story' that we are all actively contributing to.

Hi, I never dreamed I would get such a response and quickly from the others here, thank you. Sorry but I do not know how to do threads as this is my first attemp at any community type page. I am at work so will make this brief. Last night again the lights did appear. I ask my husband to put his hand up there and try and cover one to see if the light would hit the back of his hand or would simply be covered. The light was covered. As we watched them they seem to spread over the area of the ceiling in addition to changing shapes, or I should say constellations. At one point I truly belive I saw the big dipper. Well this kind of unrattled us a bit it getting larger and brighter too, so I ask it to go away, and it did!, immediately. But after a couple cigarettes to clam my nerves I went back in to and it was just dark. So I ask it to come back and you might say I kind of well appolized so to say and slowing it came back. This is the darndest thing. I am a very religious person not prone to this type of thing. But as of recent I have been reserching alien activity in ancient biblical times, due to Egyptian cave drawings and such. This leads me to think I brought this on. Your thoughts on this

Thanks for posting more Guizar, very interesting! As far as bringing it on, I can tell you that I was extremely infamiliar with egyptology when I saw my constellation. However I did spend some time focusing on my miniature bust of Queen Nefertiti...so maybe that's what brought mine on? Quite interesting! Oh yeah, did you all take any pics? You really should even if you dont feel like sharing them here.

@Lookcloser, Where you hail from is not as important to figure out as the reason why you are here, but if you want to learn this you can only find it inward in the quiet stillness of meditation in your own sacred heart space.
What is important is that you enjoy the journey, and working the puzzle.

About the balls thing. I have made pair after pair of proverbial balls for friends, sister, etc. I put two hematite rounds on a string and encourage them to take them out from time to time and put them on and stroke them and play with them and say "I have my balls on" to themselves. They have come in handy in a pinch for each of them. (during divorce, etc.)

Does this bust you were focusing on, have an ankh on it?

I am beginning to see a pattern with the ankh being present when many are finding their answers. I found an ankh that I had in a box in a box in a cabinet for years. I put it on a few weeks ago, and things sped up for me as far as progress and understanding. I think the ankh is literally a key of a sort, to our origins within our heart space.
