Question Seeing Auras?

Hi. I don’t claim to have any psychic abilities and like to think I keep a reasonable viewpoint on such matters, nether disregarding such things fully or accepting them fully. But recently I have been seeing curious colour fields around objects, as described below:

If I look at an object, any object, I begin to see a faint 'aura' around the object, first clear and small, but as continuing to look, these can grow into various colours stretching several inches away from the edges of the object. The colour depends it seems, on the colour of the object, but this is not always the case. For instance just today I was looking at a leaf and I saw a yellowy bright aura extending off the object to about two inches. I also saw a rather curious one on a packet of magenta coloured popcorn; the aura was very defined (the edges stopped abruptly as opposed to the leaf aura which seemed to fade out) strong green with a defined rim of bright red.

I have been seeing things like these for about a week now, and each and every time I concentrate on an item to see it, it seems to come easier and easier.

At first I thought retinal fatigue (As in afterimages of light) But the 'auras' move with the object if the object moves, as opposed to staying the centre of vision as retinal 'burns' tend to. As the colours only seen when willed and not randomly (and with no other symptoms) i'm also guessing that it is not a sign of any serious medical disorder.

What is your opinion on this? Is it something like retinal fatigue, am I mad, or is it something else?

Ok out with it...how much acid did you take...what are we talking here 1000 mics? 10,000 mics? Hehe, just playing with ya my friend. Sounds like you have a gift there, keep practicing. You aren't mad and it isn't an eye condition. You ever see it on people?

People tend to ask why I am staring at them or move around to much for me to focus, I saw the beginnings of this process, whatever it is, happening (The clear 'aura' part) around someone once, but then they got up and went away much to my annoyance.

Since I haven’t been able to do this for long (Or haven’t noticed I can) I’m sure I will get better opportunities in the future to see if it works on people.

Are inanimate objects supposed to have auras? If they are the auras seem to conform to the colour opposite of the object colour. (On most things anyway)

Yes inanimate objects should have auras and they are opposite of the color. Check out this website that trop recommended to me, so you can hone your skills and get a detailed explanation of auras and the colors. Aura - Learn to see your Aura image with your own eyes

Thanks for the link! Its very interesting all of this.

Looking for what the colours mean ont he internet seems to draw lots of contradictory information, would it be fair to say that colours seen as subjective?

I've read that the colors are entirely subjective. There is even an aura reader who wrote about reading auras through other senses other than sight such as touching the aura & feeling information that way. There are so many different interpretations of color it seems very subjective to me (for instance white can mean death or it can mean purity or it can mean angels...etc.... ;p )

I find the best way to figure out what it means is to define it for yourself. Run some experiments to figure out what goes to what & then you'll be able to accurately figure out what the auras mean for you.

Billy will become famous soon enough
Default We are Gods

Look at something inanimate that you love to touch or use such as a cherished guitar, it should glow the most and with the most
intense colors. We give [and take] energy from all things around us, that is evolution in its most basic strictures my friend, anyway thats what I have found. Good Luck

My opinion is that it is not retinal fatigue and you are not mad.

Keep up the practice and good luck.

I recently learned to see my aura - a limey green field extending about an inch around my hand - at least, thats as far as i'm able to get with it. I cant seem to hold it in focus for very long - i have to look away from it to see it more clearly. I've not managed to see other auras yet, so i'm not yet convinced its not an optical phenomena.

I begin by focusing on the boundary between my hand and the air, then i start to see little transparent ripples, then the green field starts to appear - process takes about 30 seconds.

Any tips would be gratefully recieved

Billy-

Thanks for the tip. Though im finding it hard, i never relised before what a load of old junk i have around Finding an item i care about is proving tricky.

Simmiah -

Thanks for the advice! I have been recording the colour and pattern of auras i see now trying to find trends and patterns. Its quite interesting!

Drfredbert - Thats a relief. Thank you!

Steveflux - Strangely enough i find auras of people harder to see then objects. (Maybe because people dont like being stared at) For objects i find looking at a fixed point on the actual object itself and then 'seeing' the aura through your peripheral vision is a big help, focusing on the point that the aura appears tends to make it alot more difficult for me. Im no expert but its worth a try.
