Looking for my path.

I am lookin for some guidance if possible.
I am doing what i'm calling some soul searching and am goig for a tarot reading tmrw, a few of my friends have had readings done by this lady and they were very pleased with her and felt she is genuine.
Is there any preparation that I can do to get the most out of this, I have never had a reading before and am not sure what to expect really. I am clogged up and suffering from headaches which I am not used to and I feel this is telling me to evaluate my life and find my spiritual self in order to heal.
I can not focus on meditation and am avoiding it but researching everything but doing nothing, oh i'm so confused right now.

I'll pop this link in just so you can see what else is going on in my head too right now without me covering it again.

How do I forgive and know I have forgiven?

Im open to anything anyone can offer me right now.

You need to learn to love unconditionally.. conditional love, well.. mess you up like that.. I'll love you but you did this condition.. so I don't love you anymore!

Your path is your choice.. but I would assume the headaches your getting are related to things your not looking at.. if you don't sort yourself out.. it's actually just going to get worse.. that's my understanding of the energy sent to the planet right now.. the earth is undergoing some changes as are we.. (weird we can't fly to europe right now isn't it?)

Since you can't meditate let me recommend trying grounding (in my profile below)

I'll offer you a lot more tools if you like.. but give you a chance to try grounding first and see if helps

I've been a Truth seeker all my life, and the best thing I can recommend is this--

--get out of your mind. If you can't or won't meditate (I never formally meditated, either), realize that your real being is neither your thoughts or emotions. Nissargatta Maharaj used the phrase, "hang on to the sense I am." This has worked great for me. Ultimately, you have to surrender everything to a higher Being, but it can be done through the transcendence of the ego/mind.

Know also that all is Love, and that nothing is impossible.

The important thing for getting the most out of any kind of reading is openness. If you go with the intention that you will get the most helpful information possible, then that is what you will get.

Sometimes people want to play "Stump the Psychic," going in with a chip on their shoulder as if they need something proven to them.

What folks sometimes fail to realize is that it is YOU the psychic is reading, no matter what their tool is (cards, stones, etc.) so, if you close off or your energy is too distant, you will get a lower quality reading.

Just know in your heart that this reading is meant to be, because everything always comes to us at exactly the right time. And go in with an open heart and mind - you will likely be surprised by how moving the experience is.

any luck? I'm very very lost at this point in my life. I went to a good psychic a few months back--she helped and didnt at the same time. I wish I could just go to a psychic whose spirit guide wuold whisper in her ear what career to go into.

Well a week after I went to see the Tarot card lady I went to see a spiritual healer and OMG what a very powerful and beautiful being, I felt her all around me so much before I went and I had a clear picture of her in my head before we met. This experiance was the most cleansing experience I have ever had, I have had years of counselling to find closure from my Dad and it never went away, I was finally able to let go and WOW I feel so much better about that. I do have lots of thing I still want to do, I really would like to get in touch, I mean really deeply in touch with my spiritual guides and inner self.

I too am in such a search.
I have been to many tarot readings, some are general and work for anyone. The best one I went to is a woman didn't read cards she just held my hand and was very good. Go and listen and be open, but the best I found is to listen and be open with yourself.
For many years I have read about angels, spirit guides, etc., I ask for guideance and receive signs that my angels are around me, feathers I find, cloud formations in shape of perfect angel feather, triple digits are always coming up for me and also plates on cars. During sleep one night my spirit guide came to me, and I have had some experiences with intense vibrations from head to toe which I believe is my high-self, I am still trying to figure that one out. Also, I have noticed that when I pray and ask for guidance I always get a feeling on my forehead.
Ask for help, they are always with you, and when you receive a sign remember always to say "thank you", it's a great feeling knowing and receiving. I am trying to further myself and practice as often as I can.
