Smile "Beginnings of Seeing Auras"?

So this morning, I decided to try to see an aura and I focused on the outside of someone's body and I saw a very clear outline of this person's body. I asked a friend if these were the 'beginnings' of seeing auras and he said yes and that's how he started.

I then asked him how long it takes to see the aura's color and everything and he said it took him about a week or so to begin seeing the entire aura.

Is he just saying things or is this true? I would greatly appreciate some advice and exercises on how to see auras. I wear glasses so I don't know if that will prevent me from seeing them or help me. So, advice on that too please~

Honestly the best thing you can do is find a good practice that feels right and works for you, and through the development of that practice you will be able to do far more than just see auras.

It is okay to want to have a certain type of experience - as you engage in your practice, hold that intention in the back of your mind, before and after (not during). You will develop faster in your area of choice.

Allow 3-6 months - if you do it consistently. By then you should have a total shift not just in 1-2 areas.

Ultimately "Siddhi" powers are part of the journey, not the goal.

Thank you for the wonderful advice, Jason. I hope that the advice you offered will really help me develop a desired ability. Thanks again.

i think your friend is probably telling the truth, but i would not really expect my experience to be exactly the same. how quickly it happens depends on a lot of different factors, so it may be helpful to let go of expectations about how long it will take and just enjoy the process of learning and growing in your abilities.

here is a site that has some exercises you can use to assist your eyes in focusing the way we often focus them to see auras: Read Aura with Peripheral Vision and Eye Exercise (some of those exercises are a little difficult, or they were for me, and i would pace myself since this is using the muscles in your eyes in a way they may not be used to.)
