Default Lucid Dreaming

I would very much like this to be a part of my life, still unsure how to do it but feel I am at a stage where I would allow myself to be able to do it.

Anyone lucid dream, and care to share some tips or methods on gaining the ability to do it?

I had my 1st lucid dream last night with my spirit guide (only 1).. I was unsure if it would work or not, but i meditated and got my vibrations high as i could and asked my spirit guide to simply introduce their self to me, and wake me when they did so i could remember (sounds simple huh?!)..Well I don't remember much but I do remember seeing a beautiful lady in a long black coat with nice long hair. She look very relaxed and made me feel comfortable and said her name is melissa..and I awoke oddly at 5am with this lady fresh in my head. So im sure it was my guide. I would suggest u do your best to have high vibrations and keep your mind free, and ask your spirit guides to communicate with you in your dream and awake u so u can remember. And try to stay focused as your falling asleep..I hope this helps a little..
---good luck

TL;DR at the end

Um I lucid dream very often, and I think this is due to my personality. I like to stay present and introspect and analyze things a lot. Like I regularly fall asleep in the middle of tests on purpose and with no fear. When I am asleep I have a train of uncontrolled thought which bounces around and the thoughts eventually are about something that's happening in my life which will eventually bring me to my present circumstance which is "oh yeah, you have a test", and I wake up.

In dreams, I just notice things just aren't normal, and thus the moment I recognize I'm in a dream I have conscious control. The problem is that when you stop "believing" a dream, you come out of it fast, and I usually do, but in dreams which are really cool ( i was harry potter once) I try and MAKE myself believe that everything is real so I stay in the dream. Just try and make your personality be one of analyzing, or just try to become "present" during a dream and start questioning things the MOMENT things are bizzare.

TL;DR

Ah and I've finally thought of a solution for you! In most of my nightmares I'm mostly know I'm dreaming since my body is in alarm state, but I simply can't get out of the nightmares, hence they are nightmares. And the moment I realize I'm in a nightmare and that dreadful feeling comes all over me, I think of having sex with any girl near my vicinity and instantly the tone of the dream changes, since like fear, your sex drive is very primordial and strong.

A good trick I learned was to regularly check something and ask yourself "Is this a dream?" Like look at the back of your left hand now and then during the day and ask "Is this a dream? Am I dreaming?" Pretty soon you'll be doing that in your dreams too, and then you'll realize it's a dream.

This is smart, since you aren't completely conscious in a dream, the only way you'll be able to recognize that you are in a dream is if you have subconscious patterns for dream recognition in the day time.

I've practiced the same technique, and noticed I had more lucid dreams afterwards...

Throughout the day I would ask myself that, and then suddenly in my dreams I would either notice something odd and ask the same question, or just automatically do it..

Lucid dreaming can be attained very easily however there is several methods of induction.

The most common method of induction is to learn to recognize you are dreaming, and to fall back asleep with the knowledge of controlling your dream.

The method I have found works very easily is to simply stay awake for a very long time. Let Yourself get very tired.

Now sit (if you lie down you may fall asleep) in a chair or cross legged and start daydreaming of whatever you would like to "lucid dream" about.

It could be a dream about flying, or visiting mars, or ... whatever you can imagine.

Soon (if tired enough) your daydream will come alive and you will be truly flying.

I have found this method to work every time for me, however I do not have enough interest in it to do it very often.

There are many videos about it, but not too many mention my method.

Good luck.
