My weird dream =&

Ok,... I had a dream where my brother and I were outside and we saw big ugly frogs everywhere. I usually like frogs and think they are cute. But these frogs were especially intimidating and unattractive... lol... I remember something about comparing them to small dogs... =& ... I would estimate that there were about 10 of these things around... just to give you an idea... And my brother was enthusiastic about catching them and he was talking about his plans to harm them, which seemed to be a source of enjoyment for him.. He said something about if he could catch one of these things, he's have fun for the whole week (torturing it) ..... =&

....Ok,... weird... I know..... any thoughts...? lol

Sounds like a quite ordinary dream to me
Would you think it was ok to harm frogs when they're big and ugly? What were your thoughts in the dream about your brother's intention? It doesn't have to mean anything special, unless you find a clear meaning of the dream. I usually never find a meaning in my dreams. They seem like a product of my imagination and weirdness and false logic.
Other than that, it sounds like a funny dream if that's what you were looking for

Hehe, regognize it. One time in a dream me and a friend were badass gansters, and we randomly shot a guy eating breakfast because we were evil, and he didn't even notice. The bullet just stood in there, and he went on making breakfast, and neither him or us cared at all! But I've also had dreams where I've mindlessly thrown a grenade into a mass of people (classmates and such), and then I was like "nooooo, what have I done!!" while crying, even when they all get up unhurt and ignore the explosion as if nothing had happened... weird how things don't make sense in our dreams huh?

Sounds like you are a true romantic! Interests or possible dates have not been appealing to you. Maybe lately, there are people interested in you that you are not attracted to or even repulsed by. Your brother is extremely protective of you, even if he may be one of those siblings who behave as though they don't care about your dating life. No one is probably good enough for you in his book. "No frog is good enough for the kisses of my sister" attitude. OK I'm going a bit far but you get the point.

Ok, ..so I really like this particular guy; but i have never even met him in person. (I am about to be 20, but) I'm not allowed to go on dates/hang out with guys. My parents claim they would let me if they got to know the guy first, yet they seem reluctant to meet any of my guy friends. My friends that are most excited to hang out with me are guys, so I, like, never go anywhere because I'm not allowed to hang out with members of the opposite sex. If I had a close girl friend right now I would ssso tell my parents I'm spending the night at her house, and I would find a way to get to this particular guy; but unfortunately I don't have such a friend. .... But anyway, I have quite a few guys that like me and some I am attracted to in that way as well, (and a few of them I would be able to see more easily via sneaky ways), but I only really want to be with the certain guy.. =& ... Well... if you're not "allowed" to hang out with other guys without knowing them, how would you know anyone O_O? Your parents are ignoring something reaaaally important, and besides... you're about to be 20? You should do what you want, because you're allowed to. If you still don't think you're allowed to, you should teach your parents! THEY aren't allowed to!

Nice, I like that response. Your parents should let you live a little. This has become a relationship issue and you should probably bring it up in that forum if you haven't already. Now that you have given more information, I totally forgot that although dreams are symbolic. People are symbolic in dreams also. Your brother could be symbolic for your father. That happens regularly in dreams.

Ten days before Micheal Jackson died. I dreamed that Eddie Murphy died. I told my spouse who said, "really?" Why was Eddie Murphy the symbolic person. For me he is the obvious, a black man but I think he does a great MJ impression. This is a lesson I learned some years back from dreaming in symbols. Your dreams are personal to you. Thank you Jon and Dream for your responses.. ;p ... ... My parents, it's mostly my mom who I bring these kinds of things up to, and she voices more restrictions, but I'm sure my dad is essentially the same about it... My parents don't want me to go meet guys who I've only been talking to on myspace, and via texting.. Because I "don't really know them, and they can be telling me anything.. just to get in my pants, and might not really be who they say they are"... And they don't want me to have no caution and just go off somewhere with some guy who could be a "rapist... or a killer"..
..And the guys I've actually hung out with at school before, my parents won't let me hang out with them either and my mom says I still don't really know them.

And I couldn't go to the mall, and see a movie with my guy friend and his friend because my mom said they're gonna be "feelin' me up in the movie theater"... And I asked my mom to drop me off herself and pick me up and at the time that she would decide.. so I'm not getting in the car with them.. but she still didn't like the idea.. what does she think is gonna happen.. I'm gonna get raped in the movie theater..? .. not likely... And if any "danger" happened to be presented to me, I can leave the movie theater,.. and I can contact my mom... Not much can happen,.. and even if I was being touched in a way I didn't want to be touched, I can not let them, .. i can leave... I'm not gonna be like at the house of some dude and two guys are gonna double team me rr somethin and I won't be able to stop them.

UUUUGGHHHH...! I hate my stupid mom. She thinks I'm naive and she's tryna protect me from everything and not everything is something I need to be protected from. I'm not saying that I woudn't have any caution on my own and I would trust anybody, but I'm saying that ssomebody has to be given a chaaance to prove that they are trustworthy.

I recognize the "they might not be who they say they are" from people around. Of course... there are some types out there somewhere... but I think 19-20 year olds can differ between rapists and friends in a much more safe way than 9-year olds can.
Where do you live around? I don't know how the environment and everything is with you, but I live in a town in Norway where people generally are very nice to each other, and you can stay the whole night in the streets if you wanted, without getting in any trouble or such.
There should be some way to convince your parents to "let the bird out of the nest". It's only really basic things that they need to realize. What did they do at your age?
Do you have any siblings? My sister has helped me a lot to convince my parents of obvious things (especially my dad), but they still want me to go to bed in a structured and "healthy" time, with very few exceptions in the weekends. But I just push the limits now and then to make them realize I'm mature, and I know what's going on around me.
Try to have a real talk with your parents, and let them hear clearly and understand what you think and want. Might not be so easy, always (depending on how you and your parents are used to work together), but explain to them... the truth!

I tried..... =& .... it don't work... it's useless..... n all my mom says is that she never went anywhere with a guy without her girl friends bein there too,.. n she dont want me to go nowhere unless it was like a doulbe date or somethin or i was hangin out with this guy wit my girl friends... but i dont have any close girl friends at the moment... mostly guy friends.... (and they are mostly tryna hang out with me so they can eventually do me, but i dont want to admit that to my mom... ;p.... but at least i know..)
