Since I have been open to learning, I am brought along with baby steps.

Something woke me up last night. I wasn't afraid. In the past I would be. I even reached out to touch it which surprised me. It was a squiggley red light. Round knob on top and swirled down. Like a single, lined squiggle christmas tree that you see on christmas cards. But the red light was like a tree upside down. It was floating around but in place on the side of my bed. I want to say the light was looking at me. It was the size of a fairy. After I reached for it and my hand went through it and it went away. I wish it would have stayed so I could have learned more about it.

Does anyone know what it was?

I've seen those before, several times. It glowed a bit like the end of a cigarette in the dark iyswim? I haven't seen them since I had some clearing work done earlier this year but still not sure what it was.

Most likely it was what's called a "hypnogogic halucination".

They are quite common and may or may not have any significance whatsoever.

'Course, it could have been a Dream Guide ala Castaneda too.
