Hi I recently watched the movie "Paranoromal Activity." Posessions are often a religious event aren't they? I am not religious nor do I believe in an energy that makes everything, etc. I say religious event because the entity that is doing the posessing and the haunting is called a "demon" and a demon is associated with hell. And the ceremony to counter it is an excorcism, a reading of the bible scriptures and other christian practices. My questions are, why does reading the scriptures of the bible hurt the demon? And why does an excorcism work? Are excorcisms limited to a christian practice? Why does a demon want to posess? |

Hi I think these practices are not just limited to christianity, they exist where humans believe in GOD, only then they substitute the bible for hteir holy book or customs. I cannot answer your other questions about the demon since I am not one  |

I think you could just as well sing happy birthday, if the faith and believe in good would be behind it. it is not so much about the words, as it is about the energy that you are sending. Demons I believe do not exist as we know them. Maybe there are being that are very low vibrational and religion has called them demons? (disclaimer: I have never encountered a demon or tried to do an excersism. I hope I never will). |

Just what ssandra said.. but I'll elaborate more.. why does reading the scriptures of the bible hurt the demon? It's a "permission slip" to pull him/it/us/whatever out.. as ssandra mentioned it could be anything..  it's the idea of saying.. I gave you permission and through the help of this co-creation I give you permission no longer And why does an exorcism work? Because this is a experienced based reality.. and some of us or all of us our here to experience limitation/physical.. hence anything we can imagine we can do.. does that help? Also see above same answer Are exorcisms limited to a christian practice? Does your imagination say so?? absolutely not.. try watching "exorcist 2".. I believe they talked about.. exorcism's in Africa or something.. can't exactly remember been a while.. Why does a demon want to posess? Who can say?? you'd have to be the demon and technically you are.. just assume that if you want to be possessed or have a experience where you are not in control or partial.. they'll help you out.. in whatever form they are.. understand that there is already positive beings possessing humans it's just cause there positive.. we give them permission ehh??
