OBE experience as child??

Hi im new to this place and have been reading lots of peoples experiences and feel like if there was anytime to tell someone that might understand it would be now.

When i was of age 7-8 i used to have what i believed were terrible dreams.. in the dreams i would be me.. and i would be in my room, a small rectangle room.. that when in my dream would be very..stretched, distaughted..
I was floating in my dream around the room.. but it wasnt me.. but it was because i could see from this things position.. it would scare me so much because i would see it looking at me lying in bed sleeping moving about back and forth. and in my mind i would be scared because i could feel my fear from me lying in bed that something was in the room.. what is that? it used to happen a lot.

Another one is we used to have this cat clock in the halway just right outside my door.. black old fashioned clock where the tail would swing and the eyes would shift left to right for each minute tick.. this clock would scare me so much and in my dream it would haunt me still except in my dream i would be floating right next to it, my eye sight vision would be focused right on it.. is this just a dream?
