Can my spirit guides help me with this

Hi all

I'am planning to do a certification course in a particular subject....these certification courses are still not that popular here in India..specially in the city where i live....there are very few institutes which offer these courses...I'am not able to decide whether I should opt for them,the authenticity of these institiutes offering the courses, is questionable I would be loosing a lot of money if it dose not work out right, there are very few people who have attended these course, most of them are not from my city, hence I'am not able to consult anybody on this.

My question is can i ask my spirit guides/angels/universe to help me with this?I'm quite confused at the moment...can i ask them to give me signs or messages which will help me to make the right choice?...If yes, then how do i do it?

going by your post, noella, you listed much more negatives than positives for taking that course. maybe they are already showing you want is the best thing for you to do.

and then again, maybe they aren't because you haven't asked. there's several ways to ask guides for signs, but basically you just ask them - in your head or out loud - you can say, 'dear spirit guides, i'm wanting help figuring out whether i should take this course. i want what is in my best interest. please show me through signs what is the best course of action. thank you.'

and then watch for things. synchronicity is a big one (a meaningful coincidence), it can even be a specific tv commercial or street sign or billboard that is used to speak to us. so you can ask for a sign, but be open to what comes as it may not be what you expected or how you expected it.

If you're a good dreamer, ie you can remember your dreams quite well, or not since I don't really; you can ask your guides to let you know through your dreams. Write your question/request down and have it + a pen handy next to you by your bed. Guide dreams are different from normal ones. You awake from them refreshed and a minute or seconds before the time you're supposed to be awake, plus you will know it is different from your normal dreams.

Most importantly, know that you will receive guidance.

I totally agree with the above. However let me inform you that your guides maynot want to reveal certain information to you for some reason be it your own personal growth or agreements you have made, so just be open to that.

Of course you can! That's exactly what they are here for.

There are different ways. I recommend the book Unlock your Intuition by Andrea Hess. It will help you communicate with your Higher Self and Spirit Guides in a very reliable way. But it takes several weeks to work through the book. If you don't have that much time, you could try writing your question on a piece of paper before going to sleep, and asking your guides to answer to you in a dream.

Alternatively, you can do this exercise: imagine there are two roads in front of you. One with the sign "certification" and the other one with the sign "no certification". Pick the road with the sign "certification" and in your imagination, walk down that road. Pay attention to how you feel, and to what you can see, hear, smell, etc. Is the landscape beautiful, for example are there flowers and trees, or is it ugly and unpleasant? After a while, go back to the signs and pick the road labeled "no certification". Go down that road too and pay attention to the same things. Don't try to think about it or to predict the future: just observe the landscape that you see. In the end, compare. Pick the option with the most beautiful and pleasant landscape.

Oh, and yes, you can ask them to send you signs and messages. You can talk to them, they hear you.

sorry sorry...for replying this late....but thank you for all the suggestions, i specially liked what rose of cairo suggested, i tried the method, though i modified it a bit, although the answer was vague......but i guess i have found the answer i was loooking for,......i have been getting a lot of signs from the universe, and they all seem to tell me to hold on for sometime..like the other day i was talking to a friend, and she casually mentioned how she waited for sometime before choosing her subject for her master's degree...so that also got me into thinking, because iam continously bumping into signs like'wait' 'hold on' etc...very interesting

You may also want to ask yourself, what is it you ultimately want to gain from these courses? For example, do you want to learn how to use herbal medicines, or do you want to be a professional opera singer?

Instead of asking your guides to bring you a 'certified course', which may or may not be the best way for you to achieve your goals, why not open it up a little and tell your guides, "Hey team, I'd like to be able to sing opera professionally/use music to bring joy in others' lives. Please send me a sign if this is in alignment with my life purpose, and if it is then please bring into my life the resources and circumstances to make this possible." (Slade's post, Don't Ask Your Spirit Guides may be helpful here)

Don't limit yourself to a particular 'certified course', don't block the flow of spirit into your life by forcing it to go through a bottleneck like that. Maybe you could bump into a few people on the street who could offer to train you, or you could win a free trip to New Zealand and by chance meet the director of a school there who offers you a free scholarship to the exact kind of course you'd like to take.

Tell your guides what you want, then look out for the signs, and be open to the possibilities.

Answer to question not really asked but implied (at least as I understand it): "How can I get an answer from them if they can?"

From what I read of your post, you really have already asked them. Our Guides know our thoughts and emotions better than we know them. They see our Paths when we don't even know there's a Path to be taken.

They communicate with us on a constant basis, not just when we ask.

The process of "asking" is not for them, it is for us. It is a way for us to focus our Intent and energy on a specific problem or issue and thus to focus the information we receive on that solution. It helps us to see and understand the messages we receive on a constant basis.

There was a cell phone commercial here in the U.S. not too long ago that I thought was hilarious because it was just like what I'm talking about.

In the commercial, a guy goes into a phone store and is talking to the sales person. He says to her, "There's SO many choices... I just wish I could get a sign as to which one I should choose."

At that point, a phone literally jumps off the counter into his hands. He catches it, barely gives it a glance, puts it back on the counter and turns to the salesperson and says, "Just one little sign. You know what I mean? That would make things so much easier."

So, Noella... How many phones have already jumped into your hand?
