I feel good about the gift because it is part of who I am. That's enough.

Hey dream, awesomeeeeeeeee.

Just wanted to say that. You've been given a gift, you realise that?

I had a few clairvoyant dreams as a kid. Lost them when I stopped believing in these things. I wish they'd come back

Love

Andrew

When I read all your posts I was deeply moved. theuprising, andrew gubb, themaster and orca thank you soooo much. Orca your words were perfect for understanding my experience. I feel more resolved now. It's when they happen and I wake up in a sweat, with this pit of fear in my stomach, and a feeling of helplessness and high anxiety to do nothing;....in this moment I will forget everyone's words. I see from the post that I was fine until I had a precog. dream, term I have learned from the forum. "I don't need others validation" , I can now live with that. You were so encouraging. If I have another one, as you know they feel so real you cannot tell reality from the dream, is it ok to Message you since you can relate so well? The scientific feedback is tempting though. theuprising and andrew gubb thanks for helping me not to be so serious about it and more light hearted. themaster, I really felt you listened with your heart as I requested and was still able to get your point across. You basically exhibited the confidence I should have about this for me to model after. To answer your question, it is exciting to me to have this gift except the night I actually have them, then it sucks. Sharing about yourself was also very helpful to me. You said you would try to understand and you were like Spock with a Heart. xx
(I think I can see you blushing).

Meh things like that just aren't "real" to me, and i guess nothing is real in a sense. The things you "just got" are definately not part of you though, you just got them because you got lucky. I respect a man who struggled to make 5 dollars 800000x more than a blue blood kid who never worked a day in his life. I think the only thing that is really US other than our consciousness is our free will, and I respect assertion of it. Everything else is luck.

EDIT: to OP, on your fear of helplessness, why are you afraid when you are in a helpless state, by definition you can do nothing about it so why be scared? :P

are your posts here supposed to be supportive and constructive? i ask because it doesn't come across that way to me. if you don't understand where these people are coming from as they talk about their gift, that is fine, but i don't quite comprehend the motivation to tear people down for celebrating something they experience, through saying you don't value it, just because YOU see it differently.

i don't think anyone who is born with abilities got them for free, those abilities are earned in some way. most especially true if that person has those abilities without trying to have them or practicing to get them. they are earned, but they are earned over the course of the soul's experience in mutiple incarnations and between-incarnation sections of existence.

i guess i just don't understand the motivation to pooh-pooh something you don't understand, rather than seeking to understand it (or just not participating in the discussion in the first place). fear or jealousy are the only motivations i can think of to do this, and i have seen you do it a whole lot here in the forums so i decided to mention it. i would like to understand the drive to respond that way, when it would be less trouble for you to just not respond at all.

dream, it is true, you don't "need" others' validation. but i don't think there is anything wrong with receiving it! you obviously do have a gift, perhaps you can apply it in some way, toward some goal, that speaks to you?

you described it perfectly, about the heart. the heart knows it feels better when others acknowledge it. and that makes it easier to trust in the gift and figure out how to use it best. nothing says you have to be a robot

I can't give any advice but I can relate. I can sometimes see into the future, but only three years in a advance min. I can't dream it, but I see it in day time.

Let me know if u have ne other questions for me.

Aleksander Krstic, in the daytime. How does that work for you? Are you expecting them to come through a certain trigger or do they come unexpectedly? And how do you handle when they are negative?
rei, thanks for the advice.
The uprising"EDIT: to OP, on your fear of helplessness, why are you afraid when you are in a helpless state, by definition you can do nothing about it so why be scared? :P
I see your efforts here for me to "let go". The scared feeling is physiological as imagine dreaming your uncle will die when you know your dreams have proven correct most of the time. It's a heavy load. This is when I am afraid-for them. (and it's not like you can tell them)! This has actually happened last year and it was an older cousin by the way. All I could do is hold it in and suffer because that's what it felt like. That's the helplessness part. This is when I am forced to pray, which I forgot to mention in last post but when it comes to some deaths, It is just their time. I do dream of happy things as well. When I wake up I am elated. Anyway I am rambling.

They come expectedly. I just change them so they're more positive.

You can change them? Is it too technical to explain? I would love for you to expand on this.

Last night my son screamed for me from his bedroom. He will be 5 this month. He said he had a nightmare and said in the bathroom, over the shower is a yellow light. He was floating and a bad ghost bit him on his hand (Holding his hand to show me, for what seemed to be a several seconds). He was so shaken up that's all I could get out of him. I so wanted to know how he got out of the dream or back to his bed. He is not expose to this sort of stuff. So I believe it was not just a nightmare. So I now have put 2 and 2 together. He is my youngest son and memories came flooding back of three incidents when he was younger. He had a dream that his older brother had a snake in his hand. It was scary to him. The next day my older son came home after winning a beanie stuffed snake that feels rubbery. The second incident was at the same age of three. It was like an aerie movie. He was swinging on a swing next to a 13 year old boy, by themselves for a while, no noise or conversation. Several parents were sitting around on the benches. When the boy left my son walked over to me and said mommy, that boy sick. Yes, I went over to the uncle and gently told him the news. He stated he just came to this country two weeks ago and will have him go for a check up. The last incident, we were all in a restaurant and a man with long locks and 4 other diverse mix of men and women sat down to eat. My youngest son was speaking and he stopped in conversation to point at the man with the locks and said "Teacher". I asked him if he saw him before he said no and started eating. I couldn't resist. When dinner was over I went over and asked the man if he was a teacher. He said, "yes I am a professor". I explained what happened and he had to shake my son's hands and meet him. In front of everyone I said to my son, guess what he is a teacher. He looked at me with a face that seemed to say, "Why are you telling me, I told you that already. lol
