african witch doctors and spirits attacking people

Being married to an african woman ive heard about witch doctors and the different things they apparently can do.. my wife has told me how some people connected to these traditions are not happy with her succeeding in life and want her to fail.

I hear that witch doctors can astral project and do things to others in real life while in that form, and use belongings of the target like hair, cloths to cause problems in there life. spells?

What do you all think of this? a load of bull or something more to it?

and other than praying, how might we go about defending ourselves from this?

It IS a load of bull, if you believe it's a load of bull. It will affect you if you believe it will. Like anything else, it's what you give your power (energy) to that will make the difference.

And also, most of it is just scare tactics. Those witchdoctors are extremely cunning, of course, they understand the power of negative energy better than most, and they know it. So they use fear to the maximum. It's just like a magician who pretends his tricks are real, until you find out what is actually going on behind the scenes.

In Australia we have the aboriginal witch doctor who will point the bone, and anyone who gets the bone pointed at them KNOWS what it means, and it's their own fear that takes over from there, because they believe in it. Of course, even if you don't believe in these things...harmful energy directed at a person can still affect them in subtle realms and cause harm to their energy field...but if they don't believe in it, then it will not cause them to have fear associated with it, and then the likelihood of accidents happening from carelessness due to anxiety and fear is lessened...she can simply let the energy dissipate around her.
Keeping her auric field strong by being healthy and getting sunlight and avoiding drugs will make any damage that this harmful energy causes to her aura be very minimal and she can simply pass through it. Bathing in bicarbonate of soda and sea salt can have a cleansing effect on her aura, if she senses bad energy and is sensitive enough to be able to recognise the source. The important things is to not give way to paranoia. As long as she feels in herself that thay cannot harm her or affect her success...they honestly cannot!

There are also herbs that can help with destroying the bad energy also, like chilli for example. The fire vapours that come from chilli can wipe out any bad vibes aimed at a person. Surrounding the bedroom or house with chilli flakes will act as a wall of protective flames, whilst visualising fiery vapour rising up around the space you are in forming a wall that forms a dome over your heads...it cannot be breached by anything harmful...KNOW IT! That will burn away the harmful energy. I've experienced this and felt it's effects.

Then again, you say these people are threatened by your wifes success. You can't really do much about what they are feeling, just continue being successful is the biggest 'up yours' you can give to people like that...witch doctor or not... remember,they are still people! Whether they want her to fail is irrelevant. HER will is to succeed, and that's all that really matters.

Yes. It works like a nocebo effect (flip side of placebo). You believe you've been bewitched and your body and life start to manifest the negative occurrences.

As for what you can do OP, I know that praying works (of course praying helps people believe they are now protected by a bigger power than the witchdoctor). But just keeping yourself in high vibration energy, eg meditation or just not paying attention of any kind to that crap could also help. But I really gotta tell you the first bad sign is fear of it.

I would not discount too quickly the Power of an accomplished Sorcerer or Shaman. If what you describe is the case, I would say the "Witch Doctor" in question was a Sorcerer, not a Medicine Person. The Medicine People I've learned from in Africa would never use their abilities to cause harm to someone without a very good and definitely defensive reason. "Cursing" someone just because someone else is jealous of that person is the kind of self-serving actions that Sorcerers would be more likely to engage in.

I have seen the effects of people being energetically attacked. I've witnessed the cleansing and dispelling of those attacks and seen the results in both the attacker and the one attacked.

There ARE people in this world who can and will use their abilities to harm others. Among indigineous peoples, this is not uncommon.

Unfortunately, because so many Westerners and "civilized" people think they understand cause and effect, and that such things as "coincidence" occur, or that sicknesses caused by viruses and bacteria are simply random acts of nature, they have convinced themselves of the "silliness" or "superstitiousness" of more ancient beliefs.

Still, as blossom suggests, YOU and your wife have the same Power as whomever is attacking her. You just haven't used it or probably aren't as accomplished. "Spells" and "Incantations" and ritual cleansing using Herbal Allies is helpful if you understand the reason for their use. If you don't, then it's pointless.

You need to do something that makes sense to YOU. You need to take action that will allow your energy to be focused on your and your wife's protection; whatever that may be.

That is an interesting point you have made Mato Kenze, and very significant as well.
Herbal allies will help a person if they understand the reasons for using them and are confident of their power to affect the individuals energy field...that these things contain vibratory power in the same way we do.
It worked for me...but that doesn't mean it will work for someone else, especially if that person thinks such things are silly! You need to be able to feel protected from these spells, and that requires your own discovery of what works for you both, because these things they are real, very much like a person saying a prayer but with ill intent, so they are not to be dismissed, especially if your wife knows for a fact that these people do practise these old ways.
Since magic is actually a natural occurence in everyones life, whether they know it or not, I am sure you will come to your own method of doing what you need to do at this time.

Hi, everyone. When I used to use drugs, I met some people that very evil. I used to always say that I felt that some people were worshiping the devil, and that they had evil spirits in their house. My wife is registered nurse, and I am a social worker. People that I talked to always mock me because i used marijuana and cocaine. However, One day I was over someone's house getting high and I was talking to some people about some of my experience, and they said it was because I was high. I told them of my experience that I wanted to jump out the window on one occasion and I felt that it was an evil spirit that was controlling my mind. They thought I was crazy and said you were high and that is why you wanted to jump out the window. It so happen that very afternoon we were sitting down getting high that one of the guys we were with was troubled. His name is Moe. I got a little paranoid and just mentioned that there's someone outside, and I think he is cop. While we were sitting we didn't know what happened to Moe he just disappeared, so we wandered what happened to him. Two hours later, we heard someone calling outside the window. When we went outside, Moe was in a taxi with his leg broken. He said that the man in the white car had a gun and that he was coming to kill him and that is why he jumped out the window. He said that he saw the man coming after him, and had no choice but to jump out the window. Is it a coincidence that I had the same experience once before when I felt I wanted to jump out the window. The only difference is that I called on the name Jesus Christ and I was saved. When ever I encountered the demons I rebuked them in the name Jesus Christ and I was saved. When I used to see people on the streets preaching and yelling out Jesus name I used to think that they are crazy and on drugs. It was until I actually experience the realm of the devil and I understood that when you call on the name Jesus Christ the demons flee like rats running from a cat. I actually use to mock them and dare them to come. Some people say that I was crazy, but if you ever experience what I experience call on the name Jesus Christ. Just say in the name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke you Satan, or demon. I command you to leave this room lest you burn in hell and none to deliver, in the name of Jesus Christ and they will flee. You can choose to leave the burn in hell part out. You can just ask them to leave in the name Jesus Christ and they will leave. I am telling the whole world that there are demons out there. Don't listen people who tell you buy things and spray them in your house and all kind of nonsense because they do not work. Even though, I was on drugs I was still able to rebuke and chase them away in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit. For God knows your weakness and doesn't judge you, therefore call on his name when you are faced with a dilemma you cannot handle your self. Pray to Jesus when you are faced with these demons and he will deliver you. He worked for me., and he shall come through for you. I told my friends about how I almost jumped out the window. They laughed, but they witnessed one of our own jumped and broke his leg. Is it a coincidence, did God allow me to see things that they were not able to see. I was able to see that their house were possessed with demons and rebuked in the name of the lord. They laughed and one of us came to his horrible fate and jumped from a two story house window and broke his leg. Ok some of my trouble may have been due to my use of drugs but when my whole world was falling apart I moved to a different location. Then all of the trouble stopped. Even though I still used drugs, I tried to stay away from most people. I didn't tell nobody where I moved to. Therefore, if you are being persecuted by someone using witchcraft, pray to the lord Jesus while you are there to give you power to fight them. Then, Change your phone number, and moved far away from that location. Do not let them know where you live because they can follow you where you go. But in the end you will have victory if you call on the name Jesus Christ. It so happened that when you are using drugs you are dealing with people who have next to nothing. Seeing that you may have more then they do may bring them to hate you out of Jealousy, therefore giving them a reason to destroy your life. It so happened that a lot of people who used drugs are very poor, and very poor people worship the devil. This statement is not always true but just be aware that you will find that very poor people worship the devil. Therefore my understanding is that I was in the company of the wrong people. Not to say that I am better than them, but that there were not the people of my God. Therefore, I might have been victimized. It so happened that one of them commited suicide. That could have been me, but when you believe in Jesus that will never happened. God will not give you anything that you were not able to handle. God bless.

There were demons in your head...Ya... the demons of weed and coke you freekin' EEeeejiot! Weed can induce paranoid schizophrenia in the best of us dude, and it can open us up to all sorts of nasties if we do it too much, as you clearly have. Go check out your local asylum, I assure you it's chock FULL of ex-potheads who abused it too much and now think there are demons after them, and have all become born again christians and think they know it all now...it might sound familiar to you.

Yes, commanding an entity to leave in the name of WHATEVER will probably get a positive result...because it is your WILL that demands that whatever evil thing is there, leaves!

I think the OP is more than capable of discerning from this thread what is true for them, without you telling him what to do...I certainly never TOLD them to go and buy chilli and spray it around the house, I merely SUGGESTED it and said that it worked FOR ME! Most people have herbs and spice in their home, so they don't need to spend any money. These things work, you just have to understand how and why...but if you don't, it probably will sound like nonsense! I'm well aware that most people will think I'm crazy for suggesting it...that doesn't mean it is though!
