Your inner circle of guides are be dedicated to you and you alone. There will be one that you are born with and the others you recruit along the way as you need them. Your outer circle of 7 guides will be helping 100s of other souls too. You probably won't have any meaningful connection to them. (Although it doesn't rule it out, just by working out the numbers). |

What I find is that one of my guides tends to speak on behalf of the others. It's actually the third guide I recruited when I was about 7 rather than the one that's been with me since I was born. Not sure why that is, it just is. You can connect with the others in the same why you connect with your guide, through meditation or dowsing if you use that. You can ask them what age you were when you recruited them and what they are here to help you specialise in. You can ask if they are permanent members on your team or assigned to help with a particular project too. |

just to add to this... most spirit guides are multidimensional, so they can have, basically, an infinite number of 'aspects' - entire expressions of themselves - in several 'places' and 'moments' simultaneously. so even when your primary guide is working with you, that guide could still be working with several others at the same moment. as Holistic Star said, in my own experience, my primary guide speaks on behalf of the others. then, if i specifically want to interact with the others, i call on them specifically and the different energy involved is how i know the difference. p.s. everyone is connected to everyone else, but i'm with Holistic on the issue of a type of 'special' or specific connection to those who work with the same guides. usually if we are in the same soul group or monadic group, we find out by interacting with the person, not so much just from sharing the same guide(s). And if you choose to ignore the signs after asking for them - use your free will so to speak - do they get angry? Or are they with you no matter what?

they are with you no matter what. sometimes, i have noticed, they get ever-so-slightly irritated because i ask the same question over and over instead of trusting the first answer. or maybe this is a relative response that i expect, so i push it into the interaction. true light-aligned guides honor our free will. that said, some people have the same set of guides for life, sometimes the guides get different assignments, but i am not sure that has anything to do with whether we agree or not.

| Well that is my problem too I guess. Except I keep asking the same question because I'm not really liking the answer I'm getting on a certain issue. So I guess I was wondering if I choose to ignore it and go another route -which apparently is not in my 'highest good' - will they even bother answering me next time I ask?

may i ask, what type of difference is involved between what you want and what you're hearing/picking up? like, what could conceivably be different if you follow your own idea instead of the one they vote for? (if this strays too far off-topic you could PM me if you like.)

Hi! I'm new here! And you'll soon find, I think, I'm too much of a chit-chat! I just can't seem to help posting on interesting threads! Oh please keep hijacking the thread, your topic is so interesting! I wouldn't know but I think guides don't get mad if you don't obey them, but sometimes they WILL say, I told you so! (Later on after the fact I mean.) I can think of some good reasons not to listen to them sometimes though. Like for example you're happily and lazily lounging around on your sofa. Guide: You know it would be best if you got up and did so-and-so right now. Me: Oh I'm too lazy, this sofa's just too comfy! Guide: Later will be too late. Me: Sighhhhh! From what I found with my guides, two of them have particular specialties and they seem to stay for a long time. I once asked for a conduit guide that was 'shared' with someone else, that I later let go. For me, a guide will speak when I ask about their area, and I can feel the rest silent in the background. When some area of my life is very well, the guide for that area tends to be quiet during our session. "So no matter how many guides you have - will they always be in agreement? The signs and 'advice' they give you is a consensus? Is there ever any dissention?" There was a case when a guide said (this I am not 100% sure) they wanted to help me but my primary guide wanted me to learn on my own, so they all didn't help. Turned out I did learn on my own.
