dream deaths, didn't wake up

I'll keep this short, just thought it was interesting and thought I'd share it.

I had a dream last night, not sure how it started or ended, but basically I died in the dream and it became lucid at that point. Probably because I realized, hey I can't die in a dream!

I wondered what was going to happen, as everything turned black, but then I sort of jolted back, as if you were surprised and stepped back suddenly. There was a square board if you will, and it had a bunch of different shapes in various spots on this board. Looking at it gave me this bizarre feeling...As if previous to me, someone had rearranged these shapes and they somehow affected life in the body. I removed a few shapes but then I realized I had no idea what I was doing so I should stop. It was at that point that I "shifted" forward and fell back into life, if you will.

From there, something interesting happened. I found I was able to experiment with different ways of dying (sounds crazy I know). At first I was afraid of the pain, I felt pain when I died the first time. I could control the world, so I basically "willed" a massive earthquake. So volatile that the ground looked like it was boiling! I jumped into the vibrating ground and it hurt at first, but sure enough I died and was put back into life again.

The dream continued briefly as I did different things just experimenting with it, falling onto buildings and such.

First of all, I'm not suicidal don't worry, I was just so intrigued by the idea...After I died a few times, the pain seemed insignificant because I had done it so many times. The rest is fuzzy, I couldn't find my dream journal in time to write it down.

We should get a sub-section for sharing dreams, I think it would be a wonderful thing to read other people's experience with this world we create at night!
