when will the new breed come out??

i'm just wondering.. and frustrated.
i'm an indigo.. and while i see there is change happening fast in society.. this 'new breed' actually coming out and saying 'hey this is the way it is' is still not coming out and saying it.
we are still thought of as a strange marginal group of people who experience strange things.
i'm in the art industry. so i see all this art work coming out of people but no one is actually admitting what it actually is - what it means - because they are afraid of what that will do for their career.
i myself am trapped, or feel that way - as i really want to just state it out loud and clear.. but i need to survive as well.

i did so and i got burned badly. so i know there is power in numbers.. WHERE ARE THEY!?

i mean, there are people like bjork and thom yorke who i feel are making it known - or maybe i'm reading into it too much.
maybe i live in the wrong city???

i was contemplating starting a website. specifically for people like me (or us?) for younger people who feel this way but don't see the others at all because we're all in hiding still.
or maybe they're all out there and i'm just totally sheltered from these people.
well. i know of a couple. but they're not at the stage i'm at; or because they do recreational drugs to explore the 'other worlds' they are not taken as seriously.
the rest of the people i know are professionals i just see as a client (acupuncture, reiki) and so befriending these people is a little more on the awkward side.

i guess this post is coming from letting go old emotions (and present ones?) of frustration of society and many people around me making me feel quietly psychotic and having to just shut up because i'm 'irrational', 'illogical' and a huge 'new age flake'.

When you want to be successful, surround yourself with successful people.

When you want to be taken seriously instead of laughed at with regards to spirituality, surround yourself with like-minded people.

Ask around here who is from your region/vicinity. Organize a group. Get together and find people to talk about these things who you know won't ridicule you.

It's not that hard. Blame the world if you like, but if you want change, then create it.

well i didn't mean to just sit around and blame the world.

well what do people think about the website idea? is it worth investing into? as in, do you think it will fly.. or is it too early? or is there no such thing as 'indigos'?

I think that's a great idea, I think I've seen my fair share of new age sites though, I think you should try to use your artistic talent to create a page that will really attract the kind of people you want, you gotta do something to really grab their attention. I would be interested in a site like that though.

I haven't really read into the whole "indigo" thing yet, but it seems to me as if it was basically one person's view on the simple fact that the average human awareness/vibration is rising.

As such, there is nothing at all wrong with it. Different people approach the same thing on different roads. Same thing Louise Hay said in her speech at one of her conventions: there are dozens of teachers telling you the same thing. But different people need to hear things in a different way. I may say something and they will think: what the hell is she talking about? Another teacher may say it differently, and they will go: Oh! Ah! That's brilliant! Never heard that before!

So, what are you afraid of, really? Put up that website? What's there to lose? If it doesn't "fly" as you call it, you may think as if you wasted some time, but even this wasted time brings with it learning experiences. Simply writing things down you believe in will clarify them in your mind.

So you really cannot lose. It's win-win for you, no matter what the end result, as long as you "just do it"!

I second that. Try finding like minded people first, there are many, am sure. Here and elsewhere. The Internet is a great place to achieve this. Before the website building step, I'd do this, so as to build my confidence/belief/knowledge/network etc more. Just what I think though

I think a website is a great idea! Go for it!

As for the 'new breed', they are out and about - however they are not out bopping others on their heads to get the word out...the new breed, for now, is working subtly and gently on helping others.

A website might be just the ticket for you to connect with others!

anyone who has heard of it or is looking for answers, or looking for Indigo information will find you in a search. I think it is an awesome idea. Just do it, if you feel compelled to. It may be part of your personal "calling". Don't worry about the outcome, and live in "the now". Even if it don't become HUGE...if you are able to help just one other person, it is worth it!
