A sudden confluence of synchronicities

For the record, I'm posting this mostly because I need to get it out of my head and into the real world, without making the people I deal with on a day-to-day basis think I'm crazy. If you *have* advice for me, I'd love to hear it, but if nobody responds, that's cool too.

So. The backstory: I'm a 23-yr-old woman, queer, pagan, and polyamorous, and a bit obsessed with personal and spiritual development. I used to struggle with debilitating depression and suicide, and one of the major factors that helped me move past it was personal/spiritual development, which I kind of started that journey on Steve and Erin's blogs. I have three Others, one primary partner I've been with for over five years, and two new partners, one of whom was an old lover with whom I've reconnected over this past winter, the other of which is his fiancee. Things are a little rocky right now, relationships-wise. We're all still in that awkward sorting-ourselves-out, figuring out the rules phase. Additionally, I've just recently moved home to California after living "in exile" in Tennessee for a year and a half. This has marked a HUGE shift in my consciousness, a very very marked delineation between two distinct phases of my life. I feel like a train that has jumped tracks and is still figuring out where this new track leads.

My birthday is August 6th. About a week ago, someone I follow Tweeted about the Day Zero Project, where you make a list of 101 things to be done in 1001 days. I was intrigued by it, and decided to make a list. Rather than starting right away, I chose to set my start date for my birthday. A good way to start a new year of my life, yes?

And then today I discovered that the full moon is the night before my birthday. Awesome, that's an excellent omen for both my birthday and the beginning of my DZP. I was reading an astrological blog on the influences of this upcoming full moon, wondering about any particular portents. There was a lot of emphasis on the moon in Aquarius, and to be honest, the various planetary influences and the message overall is one that is terrifyingly synchronicitous with the life path and purpose my guides (with Erin's help, thank you!) have shown me to follow. So, ok, I'm getting a little spooked - not in a bad way, but I'm still a bit unused to the universe talking to me so blatantly, so it's sometimes kind of scary - my birthday, on which I'm beginning the DZP, coincides with a full moon packed with specific influences pertaining to my life path. How's that for a kick-start from the universe?

It gets better. There's also a penumbral eclipse, actually *on* my birthday. So I'm looking up the astrological significance of lunar eclipses, and this one in particular, and again...all about blockages crumbling to set one free from limiting beliefs, particularly going to effect Leos and Aquariuses. And then my mind stutters and I go "wait..." Because it's suddenly occurred to me that both of my male Others, the two men I love with all my heart, are both Aquariuses. And I'm a Leo. A full moon and eclipse, in Aquarius, on my birthday, influences calling for a new direction and all that...

Something big is going to change. Or progress. Or something. I suddenly feel like I'm just about to be on the on-ramp to a freeway that's going really really fast, and I'm throwing the car into a lower gear and soon, I'm about to hit the gas...and GO.

This is one of the weirdest feelings I've ever had. And maybe I am just crazy. But I feel better for having voiced my weird feelings on the issue. So if you've made it this far - and if you haven't, I don't blame you - thank you for listening to me ramble.

i don't have a clue on astrology which you seem to use alot. I have heard of synchronicity though, and have experiences where I feel the synchronization I guess you could say. I dunno I mostly just responded to let you know that there are people who are reading this and don't see it as a "queer" thing.

This is absolutely insane.

I am a 23 year old male. My birthday is August 5. I am queer, somewhat pagan, (not polyamorous), and obsessed with spiritual development as well. I have been through the same suicidal and depressive states as you have, and have had serious problems with relationships, a little different from yours, but not too far away. If you are into astrology as I am, then you know that our birthcharts are very similar, the only difference is our Moon placement, mine is in Aries. And our rising placement is probably different.

I am aware of the eclipses coming up as well. As far as I can tell, we'll not just feel, and see, or be a part of these changes, but we will BE those changes ourselves consciously. Something is going to click. And then we are going to create changes, which are for ourselves. What you say perfectly describes how I feel as well, about something I know is coming up (with the car on the freeway shooting off and everything) I don't want to say for sure, because I am no professional astrologer (although I do know how to interpret quite well), and I don't know your chart.

I think your title of this post is very coincidental, because that was what actually got me to open it up, because I have been going through some extreme synchronistic events lately. I also got involved with this site in the same way that you have. I think we should chat!
