Second Return of Saturn

I second your request. I was wondering the same thing. I have found discussions about it on astrological sight, but nothing definitive. It does seem to be a profound happening - but in what ways??

It happens when you are like 30 years old, you challenge all of your own assumptions, you regard things you took for granted in a whole new light. Saturn is a tough taskmaster and doesn't let you slack.

I lost 71 lbs, and divorced my husband, moved to a new place, changed careers and that was before I knew about Saturn's return. My mom was an astrologer and told me that was why I was changing my life.

The Saturn Return is an astrological phenomenon that occurs at the ages of 27-30, 58-60, and finally from 86-88, coinciding with the time it takes the planet Saturn to make one orbit around the sun. It is believed by astrologers that as Saturn "returns" to the degree in which it occupied at the time of birth -- approximately every 29.5 years -- a person crosses over a major threshold and into the next stage of life. With the first Saturn Return, a person leaves youth behind and enters adulthood. With the second Return, maturity. And the third and usually final Return, a person enters wise old age.

It is the ruler of limitations, fears, seriousness, responsibilities, burdens, and lessons. While those concepts may come across as negative, Saturn also astrologically rules over civilization, government, structures, harvests, prestige, maturity, and order.

I was referring to the Second return in this case, but your post is educational for the younger set.

The Second return can kick your ass. Be prepared, especially if you didn't handle the first one very well. The second is the last chance. The third, if there is one, is when the Reaper makes his final harvest.

Yes, that's all true and Google-able.

What I am looking for is ways to deal with it...the second one, that is. I am even having to seek the help of other healers, to little avail. As a practitioner myself, I feel that one need not deal with these things entirely alone. This may be an exception to that.
