Obvious symbolism, disturbing dream

I'm thinking this isn't too hard to dissect, but I'm really shaken about this for some reason. I've been dreaming very vividly, but I don't have control of it and I've been feeling very bad about these dreams, which seem to be getting more and more intense...Here goes:

Everyone at work is going to a fundraiser at the zoo. I was going to go but suddenly about 5 worm creatures hopped up and attached themselves to my arm and started trying to burrow. I struggled and got all of them removed but one, which burrowed deep into my elbow.
(The species seemed very real to me, even though I can't find something like this on the net. It was very flat and symmetrical, about 3 inches long with a triangular head, pinchers and a 1cm yellow stripe down the center it was sticky and cold on my skin)

I don't know what order this happened in, but at some point I walked by a spigot which a vendor had other similar worms hanging. He/She was selling surprise ball toys and dead worms. (yay!?)

I leave "work" (which happens to be in some sort of cave) and I start to head towards a doctor's office, then realize I should go to urgent care but I'm worried because it's 4:45 and I know it's closing

...I was in a car but it suddenly changes to bike where there is just a bunch of overly tan and fat old redneck people not moving all over a busy narrow road. There is thick clay mud all over the road probably a foot deep. They are fine with being stuck. There is thick mud everywhere so I get off and carry my bike in barefeet up the street in thick mud.

The bike disappears and right about this time my lower teeth start falling out. I walk into a church gift store (catholic supply which also happens to be a cave theme) and I get little help except someone points in the general direction. 2 more teeth fall out. At this point blood is pouring out of my mouth. I'm trying desperately to press them back in. I look up on the wall and there's that albino mark ryden print of the girl in a pool of blood on the wall (sort of) except her facial expresion is exactly like mine with her jaw jutted out.

I leave to go to the urgent care but I woke up nearly choking because my mouth was so full of spit.

Obviously I have work issues...this is no secret. This dream comes after last night, when I had another, even more terrifying dream with work overtones, more of the underground/maze stuff and a violent sexual assult perpetrated on me...in that one a one armed monkey gave me a single carnation (WTF)

What disturbs me so much about this one is the crazy worm thing "still in my arm"

Thoughts? I'd be happy to elaborate on the other one, it's just 10x longer, and more of the same

I do dream interpretation for entertainment purposes only. So here goes. You are going from moving around quite normally (the car) to being forced to slow down (the bike) more and more (the mud) until you are stuck and being sucked dry (the worm creatures). There are a few people who enjoy watching you struggle (the rednecks) and one or two who can help you (the ‘vendor’ and 'urgent care'). And it looks like you are running out of time (4:45). Make the appointment to have something taken care of. Ask someone you trust for help with either a work related issue or a heath concern.

You wouldn't happen to be trying to slave away for a promotion in a company where they are talking about downsizing, are you? (Or is there a possibility of job cuts at your place of employment, and you may feel that persons you view as parasitic or more lowly and less deserving than you, may be keeping their job, strictly on seniority and not actual worth to the business?) Just curious.

Yeah I'm in a very very dead end job right now, where literally at my interview my boss said there "this isn't a gateway job". I'm so bored there. I just pay attention to my anxiety levels in dreams, and this one has been one of the worst ones I can remember.

The worst part is, I've only been there since april...time to get out?

The wormy things: -- is it boredom, or is it something else that's "getting under your skin" or making your skin crawl?

The bike and the mud sound like very optimistic images to me: you have the ability to convey yourself (and lift up your power and carry it) despite the circumstances and people that have you feeling stuck. I love that! You have choice, and you have power, even though it seems like a big challenge right now.

When I dream about teeth, I know I'm dreaming about power. It's a classic in my repertoire. Teeth falling out is power being drained.

These dreams may not exactly mean it is time to get out.

This reminds me of the "Freedom" card in Doreen Virtue's "Healing with the Angels" oracle deck. This card is about freedom in your mind. The objective of this card is to understand that even a prisoner can control his own thoughts.

Perhaps it is not time to get out, but maybe an opportunity to learn something about yourself and others there, as well as find new thought patterns that will serve you in this situation, for the better.

One person may say a glass is half empty while another insists it is half full. Is your glass half empty or half full??
