I have some very interesting dreams about names of places and things that I didn't previously know existed. Then I Google the name and find out it actually does exist! For instance, I had an amazing and beautiful dream of a place called "Crater Lake". I've never heard of this place. In the dream, I could clearly see the lake as I stood on the shore. It was an odd shaped lake that looked like a crater filled with very clear water and the color of the water was an astounding shade of the deepest blue - not the usual color of body of water. And this name "Crater Lake" kept repeating itself over and over. The feeling was so peaceful and the colors so intense. I woke up and went to Google Crater Lake. To my surprise there actually is a place with this name. It is actually Crater Lake National Park in Oregon - a place I've never been to or known about. It is a lake formed in a caldera, or collapsed volcano and it's famous for it's deep blue color and water clarity. The pictures of this place were EXACTLY as they appeared in my dream. I was utterly astounded. In another dream, this word kept repeating over and over. It was actually written out so that I could see the spelling. A previously unknown word to me and it was such a weird word. Upon waking I immediately Googled it as I could still see the spelling in my mind but had no idea if this was really a word. It was "Necromancy". Well, it is indeed a word, meaning the act of contacting the dead for purposes of devination. Unbelievable. Several other dreams have followed the same pattern. I will see a word or a name of a place spelled out - like written on a blackboard, so that I can see the spelling. And I may get a picture of the place to go with it. Upon researching that name, I see that it is an existing place and a picture of it matches what I saw in the dream. I mean, these are places that I've never heard of or been to. Has anyone had this experience? It is an amazing feeling to get these messages in dreams and then research to find their location or meaning. Am I supposed to take these as signs? Like, I should go to these places for some reason? I have had some experience with having contact with those passed on, but very little. So the "necromancy" word did get my attention. What could all this mean, and is it a common experience for people? |

Hi Lantana - What you are describing can be a form of deja vu' - from astral traveling. Growing up, I would re-live conversations (re-live for me, first time around with the other person) - I would visit places before I visited them (what you are describing) - and I have even 'read' a book while sleeping. In our astral form, we can travel, 'time' travel, etc. We are not limited by the physical 'stuff' -- but it's really cool when you do this and can remember it! As for the way you are perceiving this...is a good sign concerning the communication between your higher self and physical self. Some people do all you describe, but don't remember it in the morning. I, for one, love those 'dreams' / travels. Hope this helps. |

Hey thanks, Jan for your reply. Your insights always present me with ideas I hadn't considered. Astral Travel. I hadn't thought of this option as a way to explain these experiences. That does make sense. Crater Lake looks like a place that I'd love to see (in waking life!). I was thinking in terms of maybe having visited these places in a past life or something and am now having a recollection of them. But astral travel makes a lot of sense too. I'm glad you mentioned the communication btwn the higher and physical self. Because I do get an innate sense of that communication drastically improving of late. Evidence of this connection seems to be acurate intuition, increasing synchronicities, messages in dreams. My dream life is now much more interesting than my waking life, and I usually do remember all my dreams. It does feel like there's another life going on there that has little to do with my waking life. I've yet to experience reading a book while sleeping tho. That's pretty amazing! Thanks! |

I have no such experience however maybe if you write down al the words and at some point look back to your notes you might find a message in them, for the future from the past around you in present......crack the nut!
