Default Had to stop a 4 month long dream?

Ever since a breakup from a longterm relationship, I've had a dream with the ex in it *every night* for four months. Its not the same dream, but they are always in it. How do you break that cycle?

You have to resolve the feelings that are causing you to dream about the ex. Or, if you are skillful at lucid dreaming, stop the next dream in the middle and ask to speak to the dream itself and find out what it wants you to know.
