I am a believer in the paranoramal and spirits, throughout my life weird things have been happening from knowledge prior to accidents to feeling like someone is watching you, to apparitions, orbs and vortex, being woke to know someone had just passed.

Many people ask for a reading and I am usually pretty good, with just my intuition but when I use pychology and human behavior to surmise a person, I can almost pin point a person type business and attitude without my third eye and come close to the same readings. So I am not going to pay for a reading till I know for sure. that it is 100% pychic and not freud.

Basically my position is that except for things I have actually personally experienced, I don't really know one way or the other what's possible and what's not, so therefore it would be very arrogant of me to pretend that I did know!

Common sense tells me that there are bound to be many many things in this world and the wider universe which humans do not as yet fully understand. In some cases it may very well be that some things are so far beyond our current scientific understanding that we cannot even perceive them, or at least most people can't, and anyone who can is bound to be rediculed, or simply not believed!

To demonstrate what I mean, imagine if 50 or more years ago someone had told you that by 2009 you would be able to type things from a cordless keyboard and have them instantly show up in a screen in front of you, and on screens all over the world. Not only that but you'd be able to do the same with music, photos, and even videos! Obviously most people 50 years ago would have thought of such claims as pure science fiction, and in other words simply impossible! If you are not sure of that, just ask someone over the age of about 65.

Obviously the point is that these things ARE possible now, so people no longer think of them as "magic" or science fiction.

Why then would there not still be things that we think are impossible or don't exist, but that really are just waiting for someone to discover HOW to do them?

It's certainly within the realm of possibility, and I have a feeling that psychics are real, but I know that many psychics are fakes and are just in it for the money. I haven't experieneced much on the dead people talking to me, but I have seen some things that did confirm that some of my dead relatives still existed in some form. I have no idea what the nature of the afterlife is, but I have a strong feeling that it exists. But I'm not blindly following anything a psychic says because I have no way to validate if that person can really commune with dead people, so they'll need to confirm it through me.

Plus, I see 11:11 a lot and 9:11. So there has to be something out there.

Psychic phenomena is by far one of my favorite subjects. The idea of being able to access truth and information by means other than the 5 physical senses is a source of endless fascination for me. To me, it's one of the best things about sentience, consciousness, etc. One of my highest life's goals is to be as psychically sensitive as possible. There are so many benefits - the ability to make better decisions, getting along better with people, knowing who to trust and who not to trust, and of course enlightenment in general.

For me, psychic development goes hand in hand with spiritual development and vice-versa. I'm on a quest to discover the truth in all things, such as the nature of reality and consciousness, the meaning of life, why we're here, why I'm here, and even more mundane things like who's calling before I pick up the phone or finding solutions to tech problems faster (I'm a PC/network tech).

It's all about information. The more informed, the better. Personally, I think psychic development and intuition should be taught in schools and pursued by everyone. The world would be a better place.

Hey neat idea!

Here's my current position:

Reality is beyond my current perceptions...so if I can percieve something, then it is not real, it's like a projection or an illusion of my consciousness.

Another way of saying this would be to say I am a die-hard skeptic...I don't believe anything is REAL.

So, anything can happen within the illusion, as long as I really believe it can and want it to show up.

Does that make any sense at all?

CHEERS!

My Position:
I believe in psychic abilities and all that is involved, despite my lack of experience I believe one day I will achieve my goal of connecting to this part of myself. It is all so fascinating

I like the way you think, and you opened up a little doorway fo me, I think. If you could read my intro and drop me a line, I would be so appreciative. Spiritually on the skids!

I would like to know more about the paranormal: the why's and how's.

I'm a physicist, and an atheist. I see people, swarms of them, conned by mainstream religion, sold the spiritual awareness they can get from so many other sources without the strings attached.

To me, the paranormal is like a child's imaginary friend. So real to the observer, it compensates for all the inadequeces, a manifestation of the desires and fears of the child. It's expressions of real, tangible qualities.

Some things I would need heavy persuasion: but I am willing to listen.

Ghosts? Bullshit ET's? Likely they exist, highly unlikely we will ever contact them, near impossible we will be visited. Astrology? Bullshit. Complete bullshit.

I think Psychics are hearing voices in their head: they need treatment, with love and support to wake up and smell the coffee.
