I have no doubt in my mind that psychic and paranormal phenomena is real. Even though these are things that can't be quantified or measured by science, it doesn't mean that they don't exist. All it means is that science isn't advanced enough yet to prove its existence. We don't have the proper equipment to see every planet in the universe, but it doesn't mean they don't exist. Someday science will catch up.
As for myself, I am an empath and I believe that I may be clairsentient as well. I'm hoping to further develop my abilities and meet others with similar experiences.

I am very empathic, but the empathy is closer to clairsentience. I also have dreams and daydreams that accurately predict the future. I can also recreate events in the past and visit them in my daydreams, but that is very difficult. I am also good at feeling energy levels in myself and objects/people.

I am very new to the whole psychic field, usually what happens, is that I meditate, and receive some kind of intuition or strange message that ends up being true. And I can read people inside and out just by thinking about them, or talking over phone or reading emails. Sometimes it spills over into knowing their futures. But to me all these different sects isn't different, it's like I am always accessing the same power, no matter how it presents itself to me.

I find it easier to think of inner and outer senses rather than psychic etc.

I think of it this way: the inner senses show me a 'physical world' by organising information, light etc,
outer senses do the same thing but beyond my five sense world, i.e give me information.

From my own experience both sets of senses are just as real as the other, all of which are simply providing me with information in various forms, therefor there is no paranormal, just unexplored information.

Because I accept information is valid from each set of senses I gain information that is useful from both. Using the terms inner and outer senses just keeps it simple for my own mind!

I believe in a matrix of information, ie energy, that is there for the asking.
Ask a specific question and get a specific answer.
Like this experiment I am currently doing, seeing if I can "feel" the energy field in someone's home as accurately as I can someone's body/health/aura.
I hope you will join my experiment. I believe it is possible to do Feng Shui consultations over the internet, without ever having to see a persons home.
Anyway, I am looking for some evidence that I can do this.

Well i definitely beleive in psionics. Ive had experiences to prove its existance but have a hard time recreating my results consistantly. Most likely from my lack of meditation and training. This is something all humans can do to some degree, based on potential just like every other thing. An olympic gymnast trains their whole like to do the things we gasp at. This is no different, it requires a lot of devotion. Im putting my best foot forward from now on to become the psion i wish to be. I believe psychic abilities are real.
I have them, although very few people know I do because it is not very accepted. I've had them since I was a small child. However, I have not gotten to the point where I can control it. I can't cold read. I have precognative visions and dreams, I am an empath as well. I also see spirits. To me this is a normal occurance.

Has anyone just gone crazy over this psychic stuff?

I've been told I'm psychic and sometimes I see my own abilities unfolding but along with this comes the "paranoia" that I'm able to read everyones mind and thus, everyone can read mine.

So what is up with that?

I feel like my "abilities" are always on the fringe and I'm just scared to go further for my head might explode into cosmic unity. That just sounds kind of scary.

I just think being psychic all has to do with unifying principles in this universe- to see things come together within the mind and soul...and that we already know inside us what the nature of things/reality really are beforehand. A sort of precognition that is inborn.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I don't really believe anything. I know that sounds weird, because I 've had very many psychic experiences. What I mean is this: I know the Universe/multiverses/mindspaces....are all filled with tremendous mystery, so I keep my mind and heart open to allow any knowledge to be learned. When I have an experience, I analyze it and find evidence for it one way or the other, then when I'm familiar with that experience and evidence, I say I know it. But I know only a little bit about it. Other revelations will surely come as I learn more. Anything I do not know (ie have had no experience of at all) I watch and wait. But I do not know (yet) Believing isn't something I do.

i don't know what i believe, because i'm not sure what i can do or what is possible. i wait for things to happen to me, then i take it from there.
i've had intense spiritual dreams, telepathic experiences between both person and animal, i have seen 'things' that i don't know what to make of...
i've also had psychic episodes but they are never planned, and its always a surprise when they come true (i can't tell when i'm guessing or when i feel it)

I am new to this forum but have been reading posts for a few days now and have joined to put the opinion of a professional Psyhcic/Medium across.
I have had my abilities since birth. I work as a Psychic,Medium,Healer,Clairvoyant,Clairaudient and Tarot reader, I guess you get the drift. I work in a new age shop and privately in clients homes as well as my own and at fairs and markets. I have never had anyone say I was wrong. Now for you disbelievers out there, I am going blind so I do not read body language, faces or even the tarot cards. They are really there for the client so they don't get freaked out.
When I heal, my hands tingle and have heat. The person always feels a 'force' coming through my hands to them, and thier pain vanishes.
I am in touch with my spirit guides and angels and they filter the messages that I am asked to relay to the client. I give accurate names,descriptions and personal details.
My main aim in this life is to help people both living and departed.

Hi, this is my first post in these forums.

It is really difficult for me to write with coherence, but here goes:

I trully do believe in the paranormal because of so many reoccuring events, but what puzzles me is how they come to be.

I guess I have some qualities, but I really want to master my abilities.

I have dreams, and in a matter of days, weeks, months, or years, some of them occur. Sometimes I have to wonder if I am crazy, but I always tell my sister my dreams, and she is the one to reassure me I am not going nuts. Thank goodness I have her.

I am also a twin.

And I am really interested in energy, the ability to heal others, as well as aura viewing, communication with spirits, and being able to travel to the ethereal realm. (All of which I cannot do, but I hope to someday learn - hopefully through this forum! )

I'm just thrilled by the thought of discovering the collective unconscious!
And I just want to learn all that I can about paranormal phenomena.

I have to say that I have had TONS of experiences growing up telling me that the things that are unseen/unheard by most are very real

I think as children, its easier to trust in it, to not question it

My position is true believer in all things divine and metaphysical. I am a very lucid dreamer and astral project while I am sleeping. Some of the dreams/experiences I have are literally beyond this world.
I had an experience at the beginning of this new millennium that I now believe to be a second incarnation. Although energy can't be destroyed it can be divided. I know that in some rare cases, part of the spirit will remain in the spiritual dimension and act as overseer to its incarnated other half until the time comes for it to also incarnate, unite with its other half and complete the life cycle. I understand this to occur in cases of those who have committed suicide in a past life. The soul must re-live and experience the lessons of the previous lifetime before a potential "graduation" can take place. I truly believe this is what occurred in my life eight years ago during a very lucid dreaming state. Other experiences over the past eight years also point to that conclusion.
I am now comfortable saying that I was incarnated twice in one lifetime, both times in Gemini! Hey, I'm quadruplets!

I can sense and feel energy around my face, I can control it with my mind, it is wave like and magnetic.

I can also feel it when I concentrate on other areas of my body.

Hello everyone, this is one of my first posts here. But i'm glad to be here to talk openly about our beliefs.

One year ago, I wouldn't even have read this psychic forum. I was a non-believer, or to put it more clearly, I didn't want to believe something I had not experienced.

Then I experienced it

It's hard to say but my life changed completely from this special day on.

So okay, now I think that everybody has psychic abilities. But society doesn't encourage us to develop that "6th sense"

I also believe in reincarnation, spirits and twin souls. In fact, the only person I can do "psychic things" with is my beloved twin soul. I can share dreams & somehow astral project with him. We can communicate telepathically by a wide array of means.

But I can't read other people's minds or talk with a random deceased spirit. Neither can I see auras or this type of things.

But now, I can't say these things don't exist because I didn't experienced them ! I remember Erin's post on aliens dropped on various locations on Earth. It really makes the point.

I'm happy to see so much people experiencing differently the psychic phenomena !


@GreenMist : I think I have already experienced the "magnetic wave" you talked about, but only one time. It was just before my first "astral projection". There was a sort of magnetic veil engulfing me, starting from my forehead and getting as far as my feet. But it lasted only a few seconds, then I lost track of everything around me (my bed sheets, my pillow...). It was frightening lol

Maybe you could try imagining it again around your face, or any other part of your body, you might be able to feel it with a bit of practice.

I notice that when I am in a more energetic, a good mood, or just feeling passionate about something, the energy is strong, so strong, I can somethings feel and hear it hitting the chair rest next to my head, or as I sleep, hitting the mattress next to my ear. Almost in the way an mildly agitated cat moves it's tail

I know it sounds, a bit mad , but it's true..

Ok. I was born to be an artist of some kind - a variety of genres has caught my interests over the years; presently photography, cartooning and playing mandolin is where i'm at today. Part and parcel of "artisitc genius" is my propensity to wallow into deep depression. My life has sucked, mostly, anyway, taking that I work at a fast-food place to survive, but that is something I have to work on by myself. (Like everything else. Yeah, I tend to be a recluse as well.) When I was around twelve I had some out of body experiences, but i can't help but notice my main psychic skills are in the precognitive area and have unfortunately shown themselves often whenever a loved one is about to unexpectantly die. My brother, my father, my ex, my guinea pig... all deaths were foretold in either dreams or just "hunches". I have also experienced happy foretellings of love and good fortune, as well, so that evens things out a bit. I believe in Guides and Spirits, but they come and go in my life, so occasionally I may post that I feel I haven't any or that they don't help. Currently, I'm trying to figure out all this Law of Attraction stuff while wrestling with my naturally cynical personality.

I do believe that psychics abilities have something to do with spirits and mysterious entities in nature. Also, UFO's and Alien matters can be part of this field and thus have stronger proof of its connection with astronomy and science.

I've been adapting my model of the world from a scientific perspective to a with spiritual/religious perspective.. (which comes down too.. before where science said.. we don't have a answer.. now my religion or spiritual aspect fills in that answer)

Hi everyone!

I believe in psychic phenomena. Well, about 95 % of the time. I don't ascribe to any one religion as I believe that many facets of different religions are actually trying to represent the same idea. I think there is a lot of hogwash in this field and emphasis on the wrong things (why, why spend so much time investigating 'darkworkers'.....I keep an open mind but becoming fixated on something can be detrimental......!)

I believe we are all made up of energy and that we can manipulate this energy. Like many people on here I have also researched psionics but I stopped visiting the websites when I found the posts about creating energy bundles that can penetrate people's space and retrieve information that they would never willingly give. This is so inherently wrong that I immediately began to research other information about energy. Over the past five years and my introduction to Reiki I have started quickly picking up information on moods and feelings. This is easiest with my mum because she is interested (albeit quite wary) in these issues. But I know that if I set my mind to it I could pick up information about other people too. Normally this comes to me in colours, sometimes when I am not even thinking about it. I will bump into someone and think 'hmmm, red and purple' those are the colours they were giving off whilst talking to me.

My Masters thesis is about breaking down boundaries ('us' vs 'them') through Literature which is really just replicating my views about why we are here - we need to learn to manage this energy effectively and break it down; rather than making polarities in our lives we need to realise we are all actually part of the same mould. I also believe we are all here on Earth to grow as people - it just makes sense, how we deal with everything is our choice but some choices were pre-empted to test us. I understand this is very wishy-washy and for you sceptics out there I would definitely explain myself more comprehensively, but when so much of the brain is left unaccounted for and where there is information proposed and discovered about alternative universes I think that there is so much we don't know that we have to keep an open mind about

exactly that! it has been such a help since i have found this. i have so many ideas and unanswered questions that will be helped by this. while i do have opinions to the extent of whats real, but it is still amazing. the reason why not everyone can experience psychic or paranormal episodes is because of not being open and accepting to the fact that it is real.

There is strong psychic abilities in my family. It appears to be genetic.
My mother (deeply religious person) was scared to death of it but there is simply no other explanation for her hearing - she could hear miles - said she just had good hearing - bah! no one can hear that well!

and my maternal grandmother knew things - she could smell trouble a mile off. I could caulk it up to being wise suspicious and old but it too was beyond experience.

My niece dreams the future and can size people up with a look. She gets premonitions and hunches and gut reactions that always pay off. She can see right through people. I am trying to teach her to train her skill

My husband is a visionary....he gets a certain look in his eyes far off and then tells me what is going to happen next. Once I was going out to garden - he said - it is going to rain in 15 minutes.....looking at the weather report I said I don't think so.....14 minutes later......pow - he has predicted so many things....

I also believe in science and I also believe that we know far less about our world than we actually know about it and I find it highly amusing when someone says they are certain about something......with certainty....seems to be so much extra information around most people ignore

there are many people I know who scoff at all these things - but they don't live with the people I live with and always have - these skills are considered normal in my household. You mean everyone doesn't live with extrasensory information?

I'm a huge believer in the psychic & the paranormal. I've experienced so much that its really impossible for me to have any doubts. My gifts are being a psychic, a healer, a Tarot card reader, an empathic, and a Channelor.
I believe that our psychic abilities come from the use of our brains. If we can use more brain power, we all could have these gifts. Access of this psychic ability connects people to their guardian angels/spirit guides through our intuition. Something that in the USA, is taught to ignore and be more logical at least in males. I'm not sure how other countries teach about psychics. I can only speak about my own raising.
