I met my guide!

Wanted to share 'cause I've been lurking and occasionally posting in this forum for some time now, and I know many are trying to reach their guides. Here's how I did it:

I've been interested in spirituality, particularly those advocated by Erin, for some months now. I met my guides in 2 guided meditations but they were short (Druid Journal » Blog Archive » Meet a Guide: Free Guided Meditation).

I had also guidey-dreams (a couple of times) and once had a clear, though metaphorical, message from my guides. I try to remember my dreams, even those non-guide ones.

Recently I have been working on facing my fears consciously, ie going into a meditative mind to quite literally then face them.

A few days ago I did a vibration raising exercise from "Ask and It is Given" which helped me realise the massive difference between consciously being in a joyous state and my normal going on with life state. Since then I randomly try to ask for 'the best feeling-thought I have access to now' and I let my feelings rise into better ones.

I have the lingering fear of seeing dead people. Last night, just before sleep, I clarified definitely what spirits I want to communicate with and who can talk with me, ie my guardians, my guides and my higher self. I also reaffirmed "I trust my guides."

The first part of the dream seemed to be about me trying to raise my vibration higher and honing in on my guide's name.

The second part was me going through a number of 'tests', or rather, a roundabout journey towards my home--instead of taking the car, I had to/chose to walk. The interesting thing was, periodically in the dream, I would try to go into a higher vibration state and then consult my intuition (name of guide, though I didn't know it was the guide's name) to know what next I should do. Also note that I wasn't lucid the entire time.

In the end, I passed through them all and met my guide. He was very pleased with my journey. However, when he hugged me, I asked "Who are you?" We had a lovely time together, talking and walking. I asked him some questions and he answered them. Apparently I've met him before (in this lifetime). We did a very cool matrix-like thing involving a baseball and me sending the ball into a car's windscreen. His ride back was a pink My Little Pony-like pony who didn't like to be touched (by me at least).

I woke up refreshed. Waking up like that without full sleep is the sign for me that it was a spiritual dream. Moreover within 30 seconds my alarm rang, ie he timed his leaving to be before my alarm. Both this always happen with my guide dreams.

Other than being YAYYYY about it, I encourage you to not give up! Like he said, "Don't you remember?" You've probably met your guide before.

I met my guide too. It was a few months ago. He appeared to me as a 35 year old man who looked like an entrepreneur. That is not surprising because I always new that i will be an entrepreneur. So he was guiding me to such path. I was also very excited that I have finally met him, and he appeared to me after guided meditation.

It was very exciting
There were three of them
We didn't get to talk much
But Im hopeful for another meeting soon

Very inspiring! I'm still trying, but love hearing about others who have met their guides.
