OK i have a serious question me and my friends have stumbled upon a time machine and we are planning to use it and yes we will document the whole experience but i wanted to get some input on what we might need for a trip like that ? and yes we are going in to the past any suggestions are greatly appreciated .. this is serious

Time travel is more than possible.. but this does read like a joke/troll..

Suggestions.. use your imagination that's what it's for.. my imagination thinks instantly of bringing gold..

Here are some time travelling facts for yah..
- When you travel, you’re not really going back in time.. you’re allowing the idea of the machine (if you allow it that is) to change your reality or in this case multiple reality's if going with a friend.. (these are the same process's that work for science machines today) so thus it is more than possible to kill yourself in your illusion of the past and still be alive..
- When you travel you will be going into new realities you’re really going to make a major shift in realities.. (all your own(s)) bare in mind if your beliefs are in the way or you don't believe the machine will work, you ain't going nowhere..
- If you run into the Morlocks don't leave your machine out in front of their base where they can grab it..

- finally, if you’re for real.. have fun.. and even if this is a joke.. have fun

Enough resources to last a month. Real wealth such as gold or diamonds that you can trade with older civilisations just in case you get stuck. Lots of backup power or energy just in case you run out. Spare parts because something always breaks and you don't want to be without. Breathing equipment perhaps, things like dust masks or scuba gear if you can manage it. Changes of clothing that could suit an area where modern clothing would be considered weird, or even just generic clothing: trousers and cloth t-shirt. Weapons could be good too, nothing too advanced though.

If you are serious about time travel though, you'd want to test the parameters first. If you can go for multiple trips, go for a short one first. If you can't, then find out as much to the era you are going to as much as possible. On top of that, is the machine stuck in going to one time, or can it be adjusted?

And most of all, post here!

Sorry, I'm pretty open-minded to para-normal phenomenon, having experienced some odd things myself as I've stated in other threads.

I do not however believe that you have "just stumbled on a time machine and are seriously going to use it to travel into the past".

Please do us a favour and save this thread for serious posters, otherwise those who are being serious and telling the truth won't be believed because nobody will know what to believe.

It's something I've thought about. In fact, for the last year or so, just about every piece of fiction I've been attracted to has had something to do with time travel and parallel time, too. It's fun to think about the synchronicity of time and perspective.

Yes, TIME Techniques is a lot like Timeline Therapy. You know, at first I was really skeptical of it -- it seemed pretty new age whooo whooo to me -- but after doing it myself and working with other people, I'm seeing just amazing results with it, and the therapy itself is fun! It's not a supernatural time-travel thing; it's a way of opening up hailing frequencies between your conscious and unconscious mind, and inviting yourself to get your whole Being aligned with getting the results you want in life (and of course, feeling good on purpose.)

In fact, today being Easter and all, I think this is a perfect day to go a-visiting with those who came before me and those who will come after. I'm taking nothing with me but love!

I honestly believe time travel is more than possible.. I am rather surprised at some of the limited stated beliefs it is not.. because some feel true to that individual..

Anyway.. I highly suggest Angela if you really want to do it you approach it in a less limited way and you will achieve success..

BTW.. if you like doctor who, the time machine, quantum leap and feel good watching those.. well you’re definitely getting a signal you’re on your path

Doctor who is so lame and ridiculous, it's supposed to be a cult movie but all the episodes look like they were shot by a crew of amatuers. I literally feel like my intelligence is being abused when I watch it.. it's just painful. The scripts are ok, but the acting is so horrible.. Nothing like the high budget hollywood movies.

I know of several theories on the subject of Time Travel. Some people believe in multiple Earths existing in different dimensions. A good example is the TV show "Sliders." For every decision someone makes, creates an alternative Earth with the possible outcome. So, there are an infinite amount of Earth planes. Traveling back within your life time would be the best way to prove Time Travel was possible. That is, unless you end up not on your original Earth but the new changed version.
"The Butterfly Affect" is also a good example of time travel, even though the movie wasn't really about Time Travel. Each world the main character moved to was different for him.
"The Sound of Thunder" is a movie that shows another example of Time Travel. The main characters change something in the past and then 1 of the surviving members corrects the change before it happened in the first place. This theory is based on having 1 linear time line that we travel on.
