Psychic reading, what to expect?

I am getting a reading by a medium on monday, my friends have gone to her and they explained that she seems to know what she's doing, from what they have told me I have drawn my own conclusions that she appears sincere and does actually have connections to spirits etc.

Anyway, what kind of things can I expect, can I ask her where I am heading in life, and is there any guarantee that she will be able to connect with deceased relatives of mine? Also, I only have 3 deceased relatives that I know of, both of my granddads and one of my grandmother's, also my granddad's died when I was very young and I don't remember them, so will they even think to come? My grandmother died five years ago, she suffered from senile dementia for 7 years before she died, regardless, I think she could possibly come? What about deceased aunts that died before I was born, could they come for me or even to pass a message on to someone esle? And also what if I don't think the person the message is for i.e one of my parents would react well to it, what do I do?

I'm a psychic medium and I've got allot of people who walk in the door expecting miracles and basically everything answered. How a good medium works is that they will tell you first that nothing is guareenteed. That is what I tell my clients because spirit can be fussy just like they were on this earthplane if they are just people you lost that is. They may or may not come in, or not the spirits you want, it's who is there and willing to come to you. A spirit medium is a tough job at times with high expectations from the client. A good medium will not bs you or draw out the validation from the spirit..they wore a white shirt, buttoned up to the neck, etc. that is bs.. they are drawing it all out to make it a longer reading. They should give you very specific examples of what the spirit looks like, how they acted in life, and validations. Last week I had a woman in my office who lost someone. She did not want to tell me the name.. that is fine. I saw two spirits first whom she did not recognize.. but they were spirit guides and we do not always know who they are. Then I said tell me the persons name.. that's it and I called out for him. He came in finally and I said to myself finally.. this woman's going think I"m a fake! He described himself to me, what he looked like, space between his teeth and all, how he died, and messages for her. She began to ball her eyes out. It was someone she was close to and I described him perfectly. He did not want to come in right away because he was still upset about his passing. So go in there and dont' tell her anything at all. If she is not getting the spirit you were hoping for.. be patient and wait. Sometimes they do not come through right away. If not, then ask her to connect to "Sally" and let that be all the information she asks for. Let me tell you that spirit's personality is the same on the other side as it is here.. if they were stubborn and dont' want to come through, they may not..

I guess I will be more excited about what she has to say/feel about me and accuracies and stuff about my present and future. It would be nice if a spirit connected but I definitely won't be upset about it if they don't join us.

I think that when a client comes in for a reading with me, they get communication, ultimately, on what they want to find clarity on. Each reader is different, bringing unique skills, etc. Ultimately, I read from a very neutral space and the meaning is found by the client. For instance, half the time when I'm reading pictures in a client's aura, they don't mean anything to me - but are chock full of information for the client.

It's important to go into a reading having done some thinking about what you want to get out of it, but not with expectations about how it will happen. Often times, the information or communication you will get will come in a very surprising way!
