Usually when I'm in a lucid dream, I can feel a pressure in my forehead. Is this biological or pure imaginatoin? Has anyone else felt this? There would be other times where I don't see anything in the dream but just feel that feeling, along with hearing random sounds. Has this happend to anyone else before?

I've not noticed it during Lucid dreaming, I've only had one that I remember anyway but I often get that feeling when viewing paranormal ghosthunters type shows. I use it to tell when they are putting something on or not. I freak my daughter out by telling her that there is something coming up on the right or left, moments before the medium reacts to something in that direction. My daughter's best friend did not believe this until we watched a show together, she was having the same reactions as me.

I get this pressure a lot, although I haven't noticed if it's during lucid dreaming. I don't have an explanation for what it is, but the pressure is in the supposed spot of the 3rd eye. It's curious that I seem to feel the pressure at times when i'm more aware of my surroundings, more at peace.

| Hehe I highly doubt that. This happens to anyone who either a) opens their 3rd eye through meditation and then begins using it or b) just simply begins using it which is what happens during astral projecting and lucid dreaming. If it only happens when you lucid dream, then that is pretty much what it is. I have to refrain from posting the full amount of information here, but if you would like the rest of it, including the meditation for opening the 3rd eye and the other chakras through ancient power meditations, feel free to send me a PM. This is regarding after you have performed the meditation, and I can say that it is indeed fact as I and many others have experienced it and still do, it takes some time to go away and fully open the 3rd eye. | The bruising sensation of the third is common when we begin to open to pyschic vision. Another sensation is the psychic headband where we feel pressure across the forehead from ear to ear. As we open the crown charkra in mediataion or channelling it's common to experiences a circular crawling sensation as vortexes on the top of your head open. I taught spiritual development classes a few years ago and they are all reasuring signals of the changes taking place. I found people often complained when they stopped. One of my pupils came to class after feeling the circular movements and said she looked in mirror and could see snakes out of the top of head like the Mudusa. Lallymac |

This gave me a chuckle!! I'm at work now trying not to laugh. Anyway, I have just started trying to cleanse my chakra and have also bought a couple paraliminal cd's and have noticed pressure in my forehead. It's kind of funny, I was thinking the other day while listening to a cd, "how come I'm lying here totally relaxed and I'm getting a headache??". It's happened more than once and I'm not a headache person (unless I've had a few the night before So, I guess I'm doing things correctly?! Nikki

Thanks for all the replies everyone. The pressure isn't very painful , its that pressure you feel when you're tired and/or sleeping. I'm only starting to learn about the theories of chakras and what not. This is pretty interesting that someone like myself who has heard about it from time to time is now experiencing it. The same goes with lucid dreaming. It was interesting how the dreams have progressed where I have dreams where I semi-know I'm dreaming, to the point of full out control of dreams. Thank you all.

This is strange indeed... by the way, where in your head do you have that headache - right in the middle? I just listened to my first binaural and now I'm having a headache on the left side, right on top of the eye. Just wondering, -SS

The pressure I feel is not painful, more like a tugging sensation in the centre of my forehead, I get it just under the eyes, depending on which side the feeling is how I know the direction it's coming from. I've also noticed that when I see something in my peripheral vision, I feel pressure in the side of my eye. Sometimes I get a pain in the neck when an entity is close to me, again I can tell which side.
