 |  Astral projecting with piercings/jewelry...
I've read many times that before you astral project, you should remove all jewerly. Do you think this includes facial piercings, such as the eyebrow, nose, tongue, etc? Obviously, if you just got a piercing, you can't take it out to sleep..... Any opinion/ personal expierience would be interesting to hear! |

A general rule of the thumb is: if you can fall asleep with these items on, you can astral project with these items on. Astral projection is all about putting your body to sleep and keeping your mind awake. This results in desynchronization between the mind and body, allowing your consciousness to temporarily separate from your body. However, since you are attached to your body you must also get really close to unconsciousness as well. The threshold between waking and sleeping is where you will part hands with your body (temporarily). |
