hi,

i am new here and was wondering if anyone has ever heard different tones coming from their right ear almost like up and down tones but it doesnt happen all the time usually at bed time when its quiet or im trying to meditate.i think this all started when i became reiki and started practicing. i also tend to sleep with different kinds of crystals and keep them all over my bedroom.

Hello dori1 -
I hear tones too - I call them my spiritual door bells. When I sit still (shield for protection) and envision opening a door, I can often find who has come a'callin' {grin}. For me, this usually ends up entailing doing some energy work to assist someone.

I recommend you 'create' a way for you to see who is asking for your assistance. Do you do any other work aside from meditating? If not, it may be a guide trying to get your attention.

thanks for your input, i have been working with tarot cards and also the pendulum a little bit to see if i could get any messages from the tones i have been getting but with no luck, it used to get loud at times and i would get frustrated because it almost sounded like it was trying to tell me something but i couldnt understand what it was trying to tell me.

You may be in the beginning (developing) stage of this way of communicating need.

If, for example, I open my door and see my grandmother - I may not necessarily "hear" what it is she needs, but I know she is seeking me out for something...so I sit quietly, concentrate on her, and ask the Powers-That-Be to send energy to her and "tell" her it is there for her to use as she needs.

Sometimes I get a very literal "I need help with this.." and it may come as self-talk (my mind-voice talking on their behalf); I may "hear" their voice; or I may get an overwhelming sense of 'knowing' what it needed.

However, when this first began, I felt like some kid just kept ringing the bell and running away - I would open the door and there would be no one. This was actually my training (developing) period for this process. Eventually someone was at the door!

Tinnitus - Tinnitus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, I suffer from it too. It's worse in the left than the right ear.

thats what I thought... It seems a bit silly.
I dont think things on a spiritual level would be heard in the clear physical world like that.
