If someone who was psychic for example was getting into other people's minds and messing them up would it be legal for the person to be tried and court and then sent to jail because the person was proven guilty (even if the person doing it isn't sure that it happened and has been unable to prove weather it happened or not). I guess what I am asking is what legal recourse would this person who apparently committed "a crime like this" have? Please answer this. Say this person has been searching on the internet to find out if they have been messing up other peoples minds and they wanted to straighten it out or maybe it's "just in their own mind". Say, if vairous people said that yes, their minds became messed up and they thought that it was this person who was responsible for it but it couldn't be proven then I don't know what this person would be able to do about it. Say the person who is "proven guilty" has always been psychic and the people who decided he/she was guilty have only recently experienced this "mental abuse phenonenon". Any advice or info would be appreciated. Thanks. P.S. What if the psychic had asked various people if they could read his mind, etc. and they said they couldn't. I guess it's just a question.. Since psychic abilities are not actually classified medically as a reason for brain manipulation, nor as a legal thing, or even just as real thing in pop-culture. No. You wouldn't be arrested, the accussee would be committed. |

It would be pretty difficult to prove in court even if you had a psychic messing with your mind because the law doesn't recognize such things. Also, you have control over your own energy. If a psychic is messing with your mind, you're letting them do that to some extent. Going to court to sue the person who's victimizing you when you're allowing the victimization to happen on some level wouldn't be helpful. It would be more helpful to learn how to get more control over your own thoughts and energy. |

You wouldn't be able to do something in western countires. On the other hand you might convince a judge in some non western countries. It isn't that long ago since we burned witches in the western world either...

It’s like describing World War One as “a serious diplomatic concern.” Bruce Sterling about the financial crisis. |

Thank you very much for your answers. Lol. I hope a situation like this never occurs. "Also, you have control over your own energy. If a psychic is messing with your mind, you're letting them do that to some extent. Going to court to sue the person who's victimizing you when you're allowing the victimization to happen on some level wouldn't be helpful. Hopefully the acuser would not have the the person locked up despite these facts. I am hoping so. Last edited by Enagee; 12-27-2008 at 06:20 PM. |
