Does this happen to you!

I would like to hear some of your experiences or views on something. I have my own thoughts but would like to hear what you have to say. Have you ever walked through a market and had babies look up at you and watch you as you walk by. Now I don't mean looked at you because you were there, but singled you out of a crowd and looked directly at you? This happens to me all of the time. I watch them ignore many others and then will stare right at me as I walk by. Do they see something about me that we as adults have lost the ability to see? Any thoughts or comments.......Gary

Yes, it happens to me as well. I am no longer weirded out by it though!

Babies still have a large connection to the other side, which includes being able to see the energy fields (or auras) around us. They recognize energy workers (whether the energy workers realizes they do that or not) and they are happy to see a kindred spirit.

Kind of like being in a foreign country and running into (for example) another American - a kindred spirit. An "ah! I am not alone here" feeling.

I usually make eye contact, smile (a no teeth smile) and (mentally) talk to them. That usually brings a bigger smile from them.

I've noticed babies watching me more and more lately as I walk through stores. I love it. Kids are so awesome.

I agree with JanT that the babies are more connected with spirit and can see or feel your energy. I think it is a good sign about your energy level when babies are drawn to you.

Next time I have to try the mentally talking to them part.

Funny, I've always noticed babies looking at me, but never really thought much of it. Same thing with a lot pets, especially cats. Some of my friends' cats are more friendly with me than they are with their owners, and I've always been good with babies (even though I don't want my own). I always wondered if they saw something or where attracted to something that I wasn't aware of. I personally thought that they sensed my good intentions somehow. Interesting stuff!

AAAllll the time!and they have this twinkle in their eye..as if we sharing a secret or sumpin!
and theres an expression also ..which i interpret as 'finally!someone who understands my language!'
i often have dreams of having perfect conversations with babies.which somehow no one understands.and lately i was having an intelligent conversation with a dog.she was telling me about her problems.
one couple i knew had adopted a baby.they came over and the baby never smiled and sat pouting in her new mums lap all thru out the visit.she wudn respond to all the cooing and claps. with my fore finger i started gently sweeping energy from her toes up.
an as i reached up a small smile started going wider and wwiiiider and wiiiiiiider.until she was giggling and made eye contact for the 1st time in that evening!
oh they are so precious! and they are magical beings!
and the funny thing is that the one feeling they bring out in me is RESPECT!
they are so awesomely learned and wise!

I have found that when I have been out shopping with with someone babies sometimes look up at me (or perhaps little children).

If you notice this, take a look around at how they respond to others. I notice they look at me and not others. This is what made me think there was something they could see or sense that made me stand out....Be a people watcher, it's kind of fun....

Yes this happens to me to!
I read/heard that children like to look at pretty things so whenever a baby looks at me i feel pretty hehe
I've also heard, like others have said, that kids are connected more to the spirit. I was brought up with the idea that when a baby is smiling in his/her sleep he/s is talking to angels.

that has happened to me quite a few times. ive never really figured out why though. however i could feel some sort of psychic thing going on.

For me, they tend to look at me I think or sometimes also the person I am with or their parent. I think even a child said "hello!" to me once or twice (I did not know them). I wondered how she could think I was different that I would deserve a "hello." lol. Mabye she wanted to be friends with me I think was one my the thoughts I had at the time.

Yes happens to me too! Ever since I was a little girl. I think it's basically because I am a nice person and they see that in me. Also might have something to do with me being an only child.

Another things is I have a round face, so maybe something like that draws a child in. Similar to baby cheeks? Not sure though.

I think this connection with children, had some input into to me wanting to work with children, which I do now. Kids do like me that's for sure I had this really nice moment with a child recently where I work, I have this little boy who never seems to talk. Then one day out of the blue he just started speaking to me, chatting away and giggling. Those sort of moments are just beautiful.

ellie, I don't know about the only child thing...I was the second of 6 children. The kids still look at me. They actually will turn around to see me when I walk up, like they felt me walking towards them. I have heard of the face shape idea. They did studies to see what faces babies were attracted to and I think rounder faces were less threatening to children. Thanks for the input....G
