Recently talking to people about my spirit guides I've been calling them "my angels" because saying that saves a bit of explanation. People tend to get what I'm talking about much faster, and also, I don't know how to translate "spirit guide" to spanish. "Espiritu guía" I suppose. It sounds odd to my ear.

I just want to know, is this accurate? Are spirit guides sorts of angels?

What are angels anyway? And do they really have wings? What would they need them for???

For me both terms are almost equivalent. They designate a spirit whose role is to protect you (more the role of an angel) or to help/guide (for the spirit guide)

My perception is both help us (but we have to ask for the help) - angels have never been human - spirit guides have.
When I envision angels - I see them as having wings - but that may be just my own preference. (grin)

Hi Andrew,

Spirit guide in Spanish = espiritu guia

You can also say 'guia espiritual'

Guardian Angel = ángel de la guarda

There is a distinction to be made between guides and Angels. I just wrote an article on Angels and put a paragraph about the difference between guides and Angels, it's the fifth paragraph down: healingandinsight.com » Blog » Let the Angels help you

What you say about angels is wonderful. I'd love to be able to sense their presence... especially when I'm feeling lost.

any 1 know the meaning of blue spirit guides as have taken photo of a garden of peace and shows some strange blue beings thank 2 any replys avp
