The explanation for this could be any number of things. However, I am interested in any thoughts you guys might have seeing as I really do not know what psychic/life energy feels like or if this could possibly be it, or related some how. Though it could be as simple as food poisoning. For better insight as to causes, I suggest reading the entire story but here is a quick summary. The quick summary: I had an intense "tingling/vibration" feeling over my entire body, that I felt I had control over for a short time. Note: For those that do not know, a Monster Lo-ball is basically a low carb/low fat energy drink plus coffee. Ie. A lot of caffeine. The entire story: Quote:

I would say that you had caffeine intoxication. I get the vibration in my hands all the time and to an extent the tingling. It could also have something to do with the joint you smoked. I've never done marijuana, but when I drink those kinds of energy drinks, they mess me up and I feel almost exactly the same as you described. Overdoses of caffeine can cause hallucinations. It was probably that, but I'm no expert. Edit: I once had the tingling so bad I had to leave work. It was mostly in my hands. I wouldn't recommend drinking that much caffeine again. | Paresthesia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Parasthesia can be caused by anxiety, dehydration, heavy metals, hyperventilation(which I have myself experienced-this probably isn't it,) low blood sugar, menopause, and deficiencies in vitamin B5 and B12. In this case, it was probably dehydration, as well as the anxiety produced by the caffeine. Make sure to always drink lots of water with coffee, as it severely dehydrates the body, not to mention that it's a diuretic... |

I appreciate the replies. Now that I think about it, I didn't drink as much water as normal that day. So it would be safe to say it was more than likely the caffeine and lack of water. Thanks again, Matt Last edited by mobrep; 11-25-2008 at 01:56 PM. Reason: spelling correction |
